Zachary Taylor just got finished learning the basics of being a part of Team Rocket, thus making him a grunt, and decided that as such, it would be an excellent opportunity to take a look around the facility to better understand what the place had to offer.
Well, so far it looks fairly ordinary around here, A cafeteria, dorm rooms, science facilities... let's see what we have up ahead.
He proceeds up to a room that appears to be a training facility. He opens the door and looks inside to find another rocket is training within.
Oh, it looks like somebody is already here. Huh, he looks like he's been sweating it pretty hard, is that... a target? I guess that's one way to do it.
Zachary makes an easy smile, "I hope I'm not intruding."

Dressed down in a Tank top and cargoes, Panther was intent on spending his day training. Today was a rare day off, a perfect opportunity to touching up his pokemon and work on the drain punch with his Gengar, Shade. The best way to do this, was with a moving target. And Panther had decided to use a hand held on, to keep the Gengar on his toes. the others were too predictable in Panther's mind.
When he had entered the training room was empty, so he had let out his other two pokemon for some stretching and later training. Shadow, the Gastly had decided it would be more fun to pick on the Pidgeot, and was currently floating around the large pokemon's head. Swiftwing was attempting to ignore him, watching his human instead.
Suddenly a voice came from the door. Panther ducked a punch and held up his free hand, "Stop." He turned to the voice and spotted another grunt. "Not at all, this is for everyone. Shade, lets take a break." panther headed to the wall were he had earlier dumped a backpack, and pulled out some water, fallowed by the ghost.

That move his gengar was using, it's not common to see punching type attacks of that nature. It didn't look like an elemental punch, and it definitely wasn't sucker punch... was that drain punch? Smart choice for a ghost type, although I would personally choose focus blast since Gengars tend to be better at special attacks rather than physical attacks
Zachary casually released yasu, his eevee, from his pokeball, allowing him to socialize with the other pokemon. He then approached panther and inquired, "Was that drain punch your gengar just used there?" then said "I like your move choice, covers his weakness to dark types well. Oh, before I forget, the name's zachary, preferably zach. What's yours?"

"Yeah... It was." Panther flushed a bit and shrugged it off, not saying exactly why he had gone through the trouble of getting such a move. The tongue lashing from Seth still hurt.
"I'm Panther by the way." he sipped at his water, trying to cool down a little. He had forgotten exactly how long he had been in there. "I like it because it helps heal while it's doing damage. If we need it we'll need every last hit point. Right Shade?" Shade shrugged, watching the unruly Gasly instead. the Pidgeot looked about one second away from eating the obnoxious pokemon.

Every last hit point?
"Sounds like you have a specific purpose in mind for it."
Yasu stretches out, happy to be out of his pokeball, he takes stock of his surroundings, and notices a gastly hovering around a steadily more and more irritable pidgeot.

"yeah." He shruged, sipping at his water some more. "I don't recall seeing you around before, are you new?"
The gastly spotted the eevee and suddenly floated down. "Himori! Wait you aren't her..." He floated around the eevee.
((This is in poke'talk the humans can't understand))

Ah, a change of topic. I guess he doesn't want to talk about it then
Yeah, I just turned grunt, so I decided to get to know the place. That's how I ended up here, basically.
The Eevee looks at the gastly with a befuddled expression. [Himori? No, my name is Yasu! Who is this Himori?]

"Ah, always good to get to know your surroundings. But the most important place to know is the cafeteria." he shrugged and took another drink, catching sight of the loose Gasly. "That's not your girlfriend, I hope you realize that."
Shadow ignored his human, not really caring what he said. "Yasu..." He circled the eevee and then floated up again. "She's like you, but... cuter."
Panther shook his head. "So you here to train or just to watch?"

The cafeteria, eh? That certainly wouldn't have been my 1st guess.
Zack scratches his head and glances at his eevee, "Actually, since I'm here my eevee, Yasu, could really go for some training. He has hardly any experience in battling."
The eevee tilts his head at that comment [Well, I imagine the fact that I'm a male has something to do with it. I would be worried if you thought otherwise.] He gives the green gastly an amused expression.

Turning, Panther gave a glance to the eevee. It was watching his gasly float around it. "Humm, probably. I don't think I could convince Swiftwing to play nice with it though. And ghosts and normals don't mix. But there are targets, we could set up an opsical course for it."
"Good point, but you do look like her." the gastly floated down and gave the eevee a lick. "Bleh, don't taste like her though..." He stuck his tongue out.

For a very brief time the eevee just looked at him, shocked. Then he flips out,( scream ) [Agh, What the hell, you creep!] He tries to give the gastly a swift tackle, but simply jumps straight through him, landing on his head and flopping forward onto his back. "Damn it... that was stupid of me..."
As Panther says this, Zach watches the interaction between the green gastly and his eevee, wincing as he watches the graceless landing his pokemon makes. "Yeah, I see your point. Obstacle course it is then."

Shadow look befuddled. He hadn't been attacked by another unfamiliar pokemon sence the Banette had giving him the smack down, and she was just cranky. But one could hardly call that an attack. "What was that?" he asked with a blank look on his face.
"Yeah... actually, that's kinda funny." Panther chuckled. "Not that he can damage your eevee anymore then it can hurt him. that would just be the eternal standoff." he glanced at the training room and then headed for the supply closet to grab some stuff lower to the ground.

The eevee quickly gets up and flushes ( redface ) [Sh... shut up!] He realized he probably overreacted. [You don't just go licking people while talking about your girlfriend, it's beyond creepy!] He stalks over to his trainer, trying to salvage what little dignity he had left. "Yeah, I have no idea why he did that. It's not typical for him." Zach notices Panther going to get supplies for the obstacle course and follows to help set up, his eevee trailing behind, clearly embarrassed.

Shadow floated mid air, and then lifted his gases in a strange form of a shrug before flaoting over to irritate swiftwing once more.
"Well, Shadow did lick him, but he licks everybody. I think it's a form of a greeting, even though it is an attack." Panther collected cones and a low vault setting them up in the back half of the training room, in the form of a course.

"True enough, I probably wouldn't have taken too well to being licked either." He looked over the course, and nodded slightly. "This should work for now. After Yasu gets better though I probably ought to ramp the difficulty up some. Do you know where the timers are?"
Yasu watches as they set up the course, still embarrassed from earlier, and eager to do something else.
