It was the second half of the Soccer match between the Meadowview girls and Crystal girls, clearly the Crystal girls had lots of practice mounting up to this game. The score was 3-2. 3 goals for Crystal and 2 for Meadowview.
Trevor was sitting on the bleachers watching the Meadowview girls soccer team play against Crystal, it was his break from his practicing and he figured he could be there for moral support for the girls at his school. He stood the side and watched the players chase after the ball taking some mental notes, his towel around his neck so it was close by when he needed to dab at his sweat.He took a drink from his water bottle and briefly ran this hand through his damp hair.

It seemed like no matter what Emmy did, she always seemed to be late for things she had actually planned. She was always on time for her parents social events and school, but it seemed like her own plans were cursed. She made her way around the corner of the bleachers to see the girls were already playing, and it seemed as though they had been for sometime now. She looked down her watch, and from what she could deduce it was about the second half of the game. Emmy let out a sigh and decided that since she was here she may as well stay and watch the rest.
She clambered up the bleachers rather clumsily, making a commotion that the other spectators clearly resented. She tried her best to apologize to those she had disturbed, and finally took a seat beside a boy. He seemed to have just been playing or something close to it, as he was fairly damp and it was most definitely not raining. This didn't bother her in the least, as she had been in a far worse state in public before. She gave him an apologetic smile in case she had disturbed him when she had taken her spot, and then returned her focus to the game. Well, the best she could anyway. She didn't know much about the sport, so she was slightly confused about the happenings before her.

Trevor looks over at the girl who had just came, he gave her a "its okay" smile before turning his attention back to the game. He frowned as Crystal made their way up the field to the Meadowview goal. Clearly, the girls soccer team at his school needed more practice. He put his towel on his damp hair and rubbed it dry before placing his towel in his sports bag, his water bottle still in his hand.
He glances down at his watch to look at the time, the game was almost over given that the soccer matches only had two halves. He mentally laid out his to do list, before nodding his head. He needed a shower after the game had concluded and preferably something to eat as well.

Emmy was watching the same game as everyone else was, but her understanding of what was happening, was well...minimal. She understood that getting goals was good, and you had to get the ball into the one at the other end of the field. But that was about as far as her knowledge went when it came to the game of soccer. So when the whistle blew and they all formed lines at one of the goals, a look of utter confusion crossed her face. She didn't want to seem completely dense, but it looked like there was no other alternative. She fidgeted a bit, and decided it was best to just ask.
Emmy tapped the boy next to her on the shoulder. "Umm, I know this must seem silly, but could you possibly...explain to me whats going on? I don't actually know much about soccer and I wanted to watch the game to educate myself a little more on sports. A friend of mine recommended I do that...but I'm pretty lost."
She felt so embarrassed, and her face grew a little red.

Trevor glances at the girl before answering her question "its okay,well basically they are lining up because they are being good sports and giving high fives to the the other team" he explained "unless its within the game it means there is a penalty shot, which to put it simply is a free shot for the other team" he explained to her.

She seemed very much like a young child at that point, eyes full of wonder. Everything about this was pretty new, and she just wanted to take in what she could. Even if it was the end of the game. "I guess I was later than I thought...oh well...I guess I'll have to catch another one."
Her posture was that of someone who had been defeated. Though she reminded her self not to forget her manners. "Hey thanks. I'm Emmeline. Clearly not an expert at anything sports related."

Trevor looks at Emmeline "nice to meet you Emmeline, My name is Trevor Rose, just Trevor or Trev which ever you prefer to call me" he said with a light chuckle. Before putting his water bottle in his sports bag as well. He thought mentally Had I known I was going to be talking to a girl at a game, I would have showered before I came. He shook his head at his lack of preparedness.
He looked at Emmeline "i would shake your hand and all but, i'm kinda sweaty, since I finished practice and figured I would come and support the girls soccer team at my school" he told her before interlocking his fingers and setting them in his lap.

"Ok Trevor it is." The large trademark smile of hers then crossed her face, and her eyes lit up. Clearly Trevor did not think she was unintelligent, and he wasn't annoyed with her. Most people were, except for lately. She was beginning to enjoy others company, especially since they weren't trying to run every moment.
"That's really awesome of you to do that for them! I'm sure they really appreciate it. Heck, I know I would." Emmy was like an unstoppable ball of energy and positivity once she got going. Well, that was mostly on days when she wasn't faking it. On those days it was like a war within. She wanted to hate and hurt everyone around her, while at the same time trying to keep on her mask of her usual everyday self. Thank goodness it wasn't one of those days.
Emmy then, probably much to Trevor's surprise, snatched his hand and shook it vigorously. "I really don't mind sweat at all. I've been in much worse."

Trevor smiles lightly "or you know any other nickname you can come up with for my name" he said before smiling a little bit more, Emmeline was like a big ball of energy, that he liked in a girl, not that he would make it obvious.
He shrugged "its one of those things that I feel is worth doing, show of your school spirit" he said chuckling lightly. Before shifting his gaze to the field again "hmm..looks like the game has wrapped up" he said totally oblivious to the fact that the players of both teams were starting to get ready to leave.
He blinked in surprise as she snatched his hand and shook it "You are a ball of energy aren't you?" he said laughing lightly, he had not laughed in awhile and he was shocked that he did just now.

Emmy let go of his hand and gave a slight giggle. She thought about what she had just done and realized not everyone one lacks a personal bubble like her. "I suppose I am. It doesn't bother you though...does it?"
Now she began to worry. Some people did not like her hyper activeness.

Trevor shook his head quickly "heck no..it doesn't bother me..I like girls with a lot of energy" he said nodding his head since girls with energy like Emmeline wouldn't get tired too quickly when they had a date filled with activities, like walks and what not. He looked at his cell phone to check the time before trying to sort out his schedule of when to take a shower.
The stickyness from sweating was starting to bother him but he didn't want to leave Emmeline sitting on the bleachers by herself.

"Oh, ok then." She was relieved to hear he didn't mind. She was even happy to hear that it was something he liked. "Oh, umm on the subject of nicknames and such, you can call me Emmy. All my friends and family do."
Would he want to be her friend? Would he want to see her after this? She was definitely hoping so. Her mind started getting ahead of itself, as it usually did, when she noticed his checking of the time. "Do...you need to go? I don't want to make you late for anything."

Trevor awkwardly pats her shoulder "not to worry.." he said before smiling "only because if I was to go on a date with a girl and have lots to do on the day..they would have enough energy to go do them all" he said before pondering her nickname "hmm..I like it" he said before testing it out "Emmy, yeah I like it" he finished.
He shook his head "no..I don't have to be anywhere important its just that being sweaty and all is starting to bother me since i feel sticky from all the sweat" he told her.

Emmy was completely shocked when he patted her on the shoulder. She was used to being so forward with her actions, but never really others being that way in return. She tried her best not to show this in her face, though she was sure she didn't catch it fully in time.
"I see, that's understandable. Do you live close by? I'll walk you home if you'd like. It's not any trouble to me at all. Maybe you can tell me more about stuff on the way." Her offer was genuine, as for the most part that's all she really was. "And hey, if its really far I can get my driver to take us."

Trevor smiles before shaking his head at the offer of being driven home and made a face..crystal girls never really liked Meadowview boys, and he wasn't sure how Emmy was different. "Its a nice day out, so I think I'll walk" he said "you are free to keep me company.." he said trailing and being careful with the words he used "if you would like to..if you don't have prior commitments" he told her.
"I don't live that far from here, maybe like 10-20 mins tops. unless I run then its shorter" he said nodding his head before standing up and stretching he put his sports bag on his shoulder and held out his hand to help her down the bleachers.
