Madoka stretched herself out, shaking her head. It wasn't even morning, and she was still tired, and stiff from sleeping. Things had gotten boring. The snow was gone, and rained a lot. Today it looked like the sky would let it fall again but there was none. The bird could be heard chirping.
With a twitch of her ear, she forced herself into going to do something. She needed to walk around, or else she would get lazy... Making her way from her makeshift home in the trees, the mare walked her way straight out onto the path. Maybe some cold water would perk her up. She took a right and followed the path until she was able to hear the river.

"Nyaaa~" Swish, swish went Boris' tail as he stared down a fish with excited amber eyes. Being a mutant and half cat fish was something he loved to eat and his sights were set on that one wiggling little slimey creature. He was crouched on top of a boulder, peering with beady eyes into his reflection licking his lips. Twitch, twitch chimed his ears. The fish poked it's head out of the surface and the instant it did Boris lept into the water, his fluffy two-toned boa being soaked in the uproar of the splash and as he emerged, the fish was lifeless in his fangs and his tail wagging side to side at his achievement. Yummmm~
He laid by the edge of the water and ate his meal happily until it was all gone before he switched his head side to side, the water was dim from the cloudy skies, awaiting to burst any minute. This wasn't good! He had too much sneaking about to do. Was there any one around to keep him entertained? Not like he had any trouble keeping himself entertained but, it was much more fun playing around with others. There was always sneaking into the territory where Peter roamed, which he always found amusing or going to bother Elliot... What to do, what to do?

With the sound of the river coming ever closer, Madoka picked up a slightly bounce in her step. And this was not such a great idea... For as she weaved off the well beaten path, her hoof caught onto a tree root, sending the poor mare stumbling forward, to tumble right out of the tree line and right plop into the river.
The water was indeed cold, and the mare, clumsily got to her hoofs, still stumbling on the loose wet rocks at the bottom. What a mess. She couldn't help but laugh at herself. It was a softer meeker sound then one would expect. With her mane and tail drenched in freshwater, she killed two birds with one stone.
"Guess... I-I won't be needed a bath now, and I'm awake. Thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest..." She spoke softly working her way to the other side of the river. Never noticing the peculiar stallion that was just down the river.

Boris got up from the messy grass, blades still stuck to his coat and accessories from the freshwater. He was about to turn and stroll along back to the AmusementPark Herd when - SPLASH! Upstream a wave of water flew into the air and dropped with a strange form of grace to it whilst inside was a black and pink stranger. Whilst Boris gasped and started trotting the female figure got back to her feet and then started talking to herself.
He had to stop and stare. She was... Talking to herself. He felt a chuckle coming on and had to let it out, his expression becoming much more cat like and a chibi blush set out along his cheeks.
"Hehe, looks like you had a bit of a stumble there! You're quite unnusual and...Wet." He tilted his head as he made his way carefully over to her and lept from stone to stone. He wasn't used to the normality of the soquili lands. In heartland, everyone was 'different' and that to the kitty was normal.

"And now someone's talking to me." She said in an off handed manner. But then took a moment. "Someone's talking to me... I must really be loosing it. I'm hearing vo-" Clap clop. Hooves on stone. She looked over her shoulder, and to her complete surprise there was a stallion making his way toward her, using the rocks. "Though n-not to sure I would s-say much. Rather w-wet your self." Under her black pelt she felt a blush coming. It was all to often she met someone new after a ridiculous moment like the one before.
"A wet cat..." Thats what he looked like. She might have been went but she didn't have the same accessories that the stallion had. And that thing around his neck must have weighed a ton. Her pink eyes watched him carefully, he was rather agile and even graceful. Maybe this was one of the other types of horses here in the forest?
And it was just then that her eyes caught sight of his tail. "Is that your tail...?"

The female stared at him with a look of disbelief and he just held a happy pearly smile in return. He hadn't forced a comment out about her falling, he had already moved his attention away from that and onto her markings. He must of looked typical as he stared at her rump where the broken heart was painted and yet, he was clueless like an innocent child.
"Oh!" He switched his gaze around to look at his tail once mentioned, flicking it side to side and watching as the piercings in it swung with it. "This? Of course! What else would it be? It's normal having a tail like this." He raised a brow. Why would she ask a silly question like that although, when he looked at her mane and her tail, it was just... Hair.
'Hmm... How strange.'

( Just FYI: The marking is actually, metal breaking off a heart XD )
Madoka blinked at him. He was staring, and caused her to feel a little self conscious, and thus as she started to walk, trip and stumble over a rock, and smack her head on a branch. "Normal?" She asked aloud, trying to regain her footing, shaking her head. "I can't say I've meet m-many others with that k-kind of tail. You must be special." She smiled some. Her head giving a little throb.
"Well it's a r-rare case indeed for me to meet s-someone special." Her voice stayed soft. Flicking her tail, to dry herself off a bit more then the sun was doing, she watched him from the corner of her eye. He was certainly a strange one.
"I do h-h-have to say I like y-your piercings." Having a couple of her own. Madoka's heart didn't seem to start racing. She wasn't use to being approached by others anymore. And it made her terribly nervous.

Boris stood there with a blank expression having to blink a couple of times... This girl was. 'clumsy' he thought chuckling as he pounced onto another rock and lowered his head to nudge her neck. "Becareful there! Your almost as head strong as I am running into all the danger." He teased, in a way trying to make her feel better. "Are you okay?" He asked softly holding an equally soft smile. It was actually quite cute how clumsy she was. That's when she called him 'Special.'
The mutant soquili didn't know what to say, never in his ticking life time had he been called such a thing. If he came back injured, the old man would just shout at him and get mad for getting blood in their grazing area's.
He felt a warm sensation run through his body and smiled widely. "These? Thanks! Your's are pretty neat too. Would you like one?" He paused, nearing her so the fluff on his boa was touching her side. "That way... I won't be the only one that's special."

( XD Laaazy >.> Nah it's okay. I just wanted to let you know. Others have mistaken it before lol )
Nodding at him, to say she was fine, giggling when he nudges her neck. She watched as his moved from rock to rock. And it was certainly a sight to behold. No normal horse could get away with something like that. Horses with stiff and bulky, and he moved so freely. She was so amazed by it, that she seemed to black out, and not notice his presences looming near her.
When the feathers from the boa touched her, her muscles quivered, and she giggled, drawing her eyes to look over at her side. Catching him up close and personal. She could swear he could hear her heart beating. This wasn't just because he was a stallion. It was because he was another horse that close to her. She wasn't scared of being touched. But she was nervous. After her parents were killed, she didn't receive the same kind of affection that other foals in the herd did. And thusly made her nervous to have someone so close. But that nervous feeling was slowly melting away.
"R-really?" If she had a tail like his, it would have been wagging in full swing. Her eyes brightened up, and the pain in her head had subsided. She had really grown to like her piercings over time. And now he might be able to give her something special too, for her to grow to love.
"How w-would you be able to d-do it?" The earrings she has,. came from a two legger. So she was to sure on how the stallion would accomplish the same feat.

Boris stayed quiet, his ears twitching and mingling with the sound of the heart beating. So close to her, he could hear it with every throb. His piercing chimed and for a moment he felt as if he was in another world. "You're so lucky..." He mumbled with a small smile as he pushed his head slowly closer till it rested under her neck and his ear was close to her coat. He listened to the soothing sound of life and a part of him grew a little sad before he pulled back and his expression held his own, vibrant personality once again like no thoughts of 'His life doesn't matter' had been through it.
"You're very special." He chuckled, her giggles like an untamed melody. It was catchy, she looked happy. He snapped back to reality and his eyes widened. "That's easy! Just take one of them in your mouth and pull!" He shook his head to get a clearer look from within a gap in his bangs and then had a look at her ear's. He really didn't think much about personal space. "It might hurt a little but like a pin p***k when I push it in. I'll just grip it in my teeth. No problem."

Madoka had frozen. His pelt felt warm, she had forgot that others were warm. How interesting it was to her to find this out again. But she wondered why he called her lucky, when she was standing there frozen before another had touched her. She was growing more interested in the stallion as time went by. Even from her own observations, he was very different from what a 'normal' horse was. And that was a terrific thing.
His compliments were just that much more special. That she seemed to be at a loss for words. When he talked about the piercings. She wasn't a stranger to pain by any means. She nodded at him, thinking of where on her lip would be the right location for it. "Would you mind picking the location for it then?" She wanted to make sure if looked right. And wasn't in a strange spot. And he seemed like he knew what he was doing too.
Her tail gave a swish, just about fully dry. And his boa seemed to re-fluff itself as it dried too. She was getting excited at the idea of this new ornament.

Boris was happy about being the one to choose the location for it. He loved being able to use his creative skills, especailly being trusted with them. "Hmm..." He pondered, studying her entire self. He walked from rock to rock carefully in a full circle around her before he just grinned, realizing he had completely forgot about the easier to get piercings from his ankle. Lowering his head he pinched one in his teeth leaving a small blooded cut there and dunked the gold ring in the water to clean it off.
"Let's put it on your lip at the right, bottom side! It would look good there." He smiled awkwardly and moved forward his lips having to brush hers as he chomped gently down and clipped the piercing down. Now she had a gift and, in fact it suited her very well.
"It looks good on you hehe." He wagged his tail side to side happily, hoping she would like it. "Why don't you take a look in the water? Seee very pretty." His ears fell back slightly and he drew his head back a little so there faces weren't touching anymore. He held a small blossom coloured blush. He'd never giving anyone something to make them special before and she... Certainly was.

Her pink eyes tried to follow him, as he circled her. This allowed her to get a better look at his whole being as well. With a tilt of her head she watched as he pulled the piercing off his ankle, and she winced slightly. It probably stung.
Then as his lips grazed hers, she felt a warm sensation slither along her body. A quick pinch, and he complimented her, and pulled back. She almost asked what just happened. But her tongue found part of the piercing. Still feeling warm, the blood rushing in her vines to fulfill the blush, she took a couple steps to look into the water at her reflection.
She blinked a couple times. The golden jewelry glistened in the sunlight and she just stared at it. It wasn't hurting or anything, but she liked it a lot. And just wanted to stare at it, it like she was a bucket, and was overflowing with happiness. This was the first gift she was ever given. She would fall into her own little world watching the golden ring in the water's reflection.
It was when fish broke the surface of the water, catching her attention, that she realized she zoned out, and she straightened back out with a smile. "I really love it~" She wiggled her butt some, and then a blank expression landed on her face.
"Never i-introduced ourselves... I-i'm Madoka." She gave him a soft look. It might have never dawned on her that she didn't know his name, until she said that last sentence. She was going to say his name, but there was no name to be said.

She neared the water and stared at it and kept staring and as he watched how intently she looked in the water, he had to tilt his head. Did she like it? Or did she think it was ugly? He pondered and couldn't take his eyes off of her, trying to comprehend the suspense bubbling up inside him. His attention fell as she continued to stare and down to her reflection in the water, where he spied some wriggling fish. His eyes thinned into intent cat eyes as he stared at them, completely focused on the fish until the mare made a quick movement and wiggled her butt. Which was a surprise. He gasped and his expression became chibi like and satisfied, that she was satisfied. His tail wagging happily.
"I'm glad!" He grinned and then she spotted the obvious. They hadn't introduced themselves! "Kitty-oris!" He laughed lightly having being given that nickname by Konrad, a foal he came across as a basket not so long ago. "Or... Boris" She certainly had a charm about her that he was quickly feeling attached to. Now he knew her name and it softly rang in his head. 'Madoka...'
"Madoka?" He called, turning his eyes back onto the water. "How would you like something to eat. Fish on the agender?" Boris licked his lips, watching as the fish mouthed the water gently in turns. Which now had Boris crouched down with his front legs and muzzle almost touching the waters surface.

Boris. Hm... Madoka thought of his name over and over. She liked it. And settled on calling him that. And when he said her name, her ears swiveled forward at him, and then flattened lightly in a pleased manner. She liked how her name sounded coming from him. She craned her neck carefully to see what he was watching. She wanted to be careful, if she moved to much, she might cause an accident.
She watched how he crouched, and she tried to mimic him. Her joints were stiffer from not having done such poses before. Curious about how he moved like that. She wanted to try it too, it looked like he had good balance.
"Fish?" Having to stop and think about it... "I-i don't think I've ever eaten.. it b-before." She often saw two leggers eating it. "Is it okay for us to eat?" If she could eat fish then she'd never have to worry about food as much as she often did. She stood up from the awkward stance she took when trying to copy him.
