The Setting

The Main Ocean Way: Atalae Sea
This world is where pirates roam. It's almost like our world, except for the fact that other creatures lie here as well and humans are not the only ones alive.
There is a mytical ship, the Segue, a legendary pirate ship that is said to be cursed. An ancient curse that keeps the crew forever young, but to sustain that youth they need to drink blood. We would call them Vampires.
But besides the Segue, there is also another legend. Legend of the most legendary pirate ever to sail the seas. The first Vampirate.

Colorful posts are good. Fancy stuff and pictures are allowed. But don't forget to post good writing too.

Yea, this speaks for itself as well. If you're a vampire, you can still die. If you're human, you can definately die. You can't avoid every bullet or blade headed your way. This is not the Matrix.

Biography: Sebastian grew up on the seas. He doesn't remember his real past. He was adopted and his mother and father were both pirates. He was born on a ship, or at least, so he was told. When he was 19, their ship was overrun by the navy and was sunk. Sebastian grabbed onto a plank and drifted in the seas for many days until he was hauled onto another ship, the Segue. He was near death and the captain saved his life by turning him.

Samuel and his mother traveled around on various different ships. Eventually the woman died from scurvy. But that was four year ago. Samuel found a ship manned by a woman captain. He joined the crew of the spade not knowing of the curse. If that means getting rid of pirates, then that means getting rid of pirates. Sebastian leaned on the wheel, yawning widely, exposing his fangs for a split second before his mouth closed and he sighed, dropping his head in between the handles of the wheel. He was so tired...He really needed to feed soon, but he was stubborn and was usually against the act of inhumanity. He usually forgot that he wasn't actually human anymore.

Emeline sat straddling a canon. Her pale skin being sprinkled by the salty water.
She looked back over to Sebastien. She grinned wide, her sharp fangs revealed.
Emeline pushed herself up and off the canon. She walked over to the first mate.
"Your looking a little worn out. When was the last time you fed?" She stretched out like a cat, her blades clinking as they hit small hidden knives.

Sebastian looked up at Emeline and sighed. "A while..." He murmured and pushed himself into a straighter position. "I can hold out." He added and looked out into the sea.

Juliet sat crossed-legged on the tip of her ship, eyes closed as she inhaled the smell off the sea, which shes come to know and love since she was little. "The wind is good today Captian, good sailing all through," one man shouted to her, and she turned to face them, smiling slightly. "You heard him! Get movin'!" she shouted at the crew. The scrambled about, and tied the mast into place and all the other work. She turned back to the sea, and smiled, clsoing her eyes again. "Capin' I see another ship 'bout a mile away!" the man in the crows nest called to her. Juliet stood up, and jumped off her perch. "What do ya think?" she asked them, and pulled out one of her revolvers, and shot a bird from the sky.

Sebastian felt a feeling of forboding and the tell-tale crack of a revolver made him whirl around. "Emeline! Get everyone ready! Hoist the sails! Ready the canons! We have a visitor..." He muttered the last sentence and quickly changed direction of the ship.

Juliet walked down one of the two stair cases to the poop deck of her ship, and faced her crew. "Hoist the sails! Ready the canons! Change course for due west! Load your guns! MOVE!" She shouted, and the men scrambled faster then ever, hoisting sails, chanign the direction, and loading and reading the canons. She jumped up to the wheel, and laughed, seeing that the other ship was smaller then hers, but not the navy. "HOLD YOUR FIRE MEN!" She shouted behind her, and eyed the other ship, waiting. She held up one hand to stop to the man rasing their flag, and watched quietly.

Sebastian turned, watching the other ship. "Hold!" He called and all activity on the Segue stopped. Another pirate ship. They had stopped as well and Sebastian stood tense, waiting for them to make a hostile move. His hand found it's way onto the wheel again and he gripped it tight.

"I see they want to wait too...." Juliet muttered, and turned to her crew. "Keep watch for any sudden move they make men," she barked, and turned to the wheel. "Im going to pull up to their side," she told the nearest crew men, who went and told the others. She spun the wheel west in the other ships direction with one hand, the other tight on her drawn revolver. She had one of the best shots in the sea, and she knew what she was doing with it. "Take the wheel Sparrow," she told her best crewman, and he rushed forward, and grabbed the big wooden wheel. Jliet jumped onto the edge of the boat, one foot on a rope, the other hanging free. She held the rope with one hand, and watched the other boat intently.

Sebastian tilted his head, pushing the fact that he hadn't fed to the back of his mind. The red-haired girl, obvious either the captain or first mate, with the way she was ordering everyone around. She got ready to board their ship and he let go of the wheel. "Emmy, take the wheel." He said quietly.

Juliet studied the other shop closely. She read the name across the front, and sighed. Shes heard of this boat. She cleared her throat, and looked back at Sparrow. "Get ready to take over if needed Sparrow," she said to him quietly as her ship pulled up next to The Segue. She brushed her read bangs from her eyes, and held ehr flint-lock revolver tight. "Ahoy! Permission to board?" She called to the tall man with dark hair, no doubt in her mind the captain. Her face was blank, though her ocean blue eyes sparkled with interest. Her crew watched the other ship quietly, ready to move at the order. Sparrow kept his hands tight on the wheel, his wise old eyes scanning the other ship.
