 It was early spring. It was pleasantly warm when the sun was out, but when it got cloudy and the wind picked up, it got so chilly that it'd be a good idea to have a jacket. Plants were budding and people and Pokemon's heads were full of thoughts of romance. Amidst all this, there was a circus. A one ring Pokemon circus with popcorn, cotton candy, snowcones, and souvenirs for sale out front and a ringleader, two performers - an acrobat and a trapeze artist - and their Pokemon rehearsing inside the big, red tent. The ringleader had a Chatot on his shoulder who repeated everything he said. The acrobat had an Execute and a Voltorb she juggled as if they were balls. The trapeze artist had a Mankey, Aipom, and Chimchar who performed along with her. Inside the tent, there were rows of white bleachers arranged in a circle around the ringleader and performers. Tenko had bought some popcorn outside, came inside, and took a seat along with her Pokemon, Cloudears the Wartortle, Anpan the Pidgey, Melonpan the Spearow, and Mocha the Mareep. The two birds flew around bickered with eachother, Mocha got nervous and slinked under Tenko's seat, and Cloudears sat next to Tenko. Tenko finally put her feet down and said, "You all better get along or else you won't get any popcorn! I heard those two..." She stopped talking and pointed to the two girls in front of them. "...are really good and I want to see them!"After that, Anpan and Meronpan went on her shoulders and while they glared at eachother every now and then, they were quiet. Mocha also lounged on top of the bleachers now, next to Tenko. She said, "That's more like it." Then, she said, "There you go," and offered them handfuls of popcorn. After that, they waited eagerly for the show to begin...

Near the entrance of the ring, poke stood in line in order to get some popcorn of her own, as well as some corn dogs and other foods. Not just for her of course.
"there you go Sandy" poke handed a small stick of fairy floss to her pichu on top of her head, and then walked to the seating area, plopping down near a girl with a pink pidgey and a spearow.
Aloura, her speckled eevee, Hopped onto the chair next to her and turned hopefull eyes to her trainer. "You got me something to, right?"
"Of course I did" She gave her another stick of fairy floss, and then started to eat a corn dog while eying the pink pidgey. Hmm, I don't believe I've seen many pidgeys that were pink...

Pichu and Eevee. She waved at her and said, "Hello, there! Your Pokemon are so cute!" Then, she stopped and thought a bit. She thought she had forgotten to do something. Then, she remembered, Ahhh, it is kind of rude not to introduce yourself, right? After that, she said, "I'm Tenko, by the way." Then, she pointed with her free hand at her Pokemon. "And these are Anpan, Melonpan, Cloudears, and Mocha."
Soon afterwards, Anpan flew off her shoulder, landed near Poke, and began eying her Pokemon. She was annoyed by Melonpan and didn't like him very much and she thought this Eevee and Pichu seemed new and interesting. "Well, I suppose it's okay, so long as you come back..." Tenko said under her breath.
After this, she looked back in front of her. They looked like they were nearly done setting up. "Are you looking forward to this as much as I am?"

upon hearing the other girl comment on her pokemon, poke smiled. "Thanks, and I have to say your pokemon look wonderful as well" She nodded when Tenko introduced herself "My names poke. It's great to meet you"
Her pichu jumped off her head in order to get a better look at the pink pidgey. "Wow, your all pink!" she pipped up. Her friend Aloura sat next to her as well. It wasn't as if she had never seen a odd colored pokemon before, herself being partly blue compared to most pichu's. But to see a complety pink pidgey...

Eienna walked cheerfully into the circus tent, accompanied by her three unusually colorful Pikachus (one purple, one pink, and one green), her Growlithe, and her Eevee. A good chance to socialize them, she thought, leaving Charlie (the Psyduck) at home because she didn't want to risk a headache disaster from all the noise. Most of her other pokemon weren't interested, and Roraima the Ponyta wouldn't fit properly in the stands, so they were at home. She'd bring something back for them later. Catching sight of Poke, she waved. "Mind if we join you?" she called out, stealing a glance at her slightly nervous pokes to make sure they were all still there. Aithne squeaked loudly at the sight of Aloura. "EEE-VEEE!"

"You're welcome! And thanks!" Tenko replied to Poke.
Anpan shot a glance back at Cloudears. She got along with him, but she knew he was nervous of Electric types and she was a vain sort, always trying to upstage anyone she could. She spread her wings to give the Pichu a better look at her and then said, "Why, yes, I am all pink! And little one, you're all yellow. And your friend's...kind of blue?" Then, she put her wings back at her sides, gestured to Tenko, and said, "I kind of match that pink-haired girl, don't I?" Then, she stopped, thought a bit, and added, "Oh, silly me, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Anpan. What are you called, little one?"
Cloudears wasn't paying attention to her at all and was a lot more interested in the Growlithe who had just come in. He waved at it.
Tenko was now ogling the three new colorful Pikachu. "Ooh!"

"My name is Sandy!" She piped up, her eyes big and gazing as she look at all the pretty pink colors on the pokemon. She looked at the pink haired girl, and then back at Anpan "and yes, you do look like her! are you sisters?" she questioned

  Eienna climbed up the stands to join the two trainers, her Pokemon following. Aithne climbed up next to Aloura, recognizing the other Eevee with a good deal of delight, and making her trainer smile. "When it's time to go, wait there until I came and get you, OK?" The patched Eevee nodded happily, sitting down next to her friend. The three 'Chus noticed they were being watched, the Grunchu (Ion) and Prunchu (Photon) waving shyly. The other, bright pink Quantum, had no such reservations and flashed Tenko something of a model's expression. Florin, the Growlithe, was another happy camper. Being waved to certainly didn't hurt his spirits any, and he gave Cloudears a very big grin. Clambering up behind Eienna, the four (aside from Aithne, who had quite obviously found her seat) began to squabble somewhat about where they were going to sit; Quantum was the worst about it. "Hold it," said Ei firmly. "That's quite enough." Quantum shot her an irritated look, but all of them stopped and looked at her. "Ion, Photon, you'll be on either side of me. Quantum, up there where I can see you. Florin, come." She set him on her lap; even grown as he was, he was still a bit small for a Growlithe and fit like a great big teddy bear. "There, all settled." They all wriggled with anticipation. "So, Poke, how have you been since our last meeting?" Quantum had caught sight of the pink Pidgey and watched it curiously, the other two 'Chus a bit less confident and therefore attempting to pretend they weren't there.

Anpan said, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Sandy." Then, she giggled after hearing the other's question. "Oh, no! I suppose she is more like a pet. They do say pets look like their owners, don't they?"
Cloudears tried to start a conversation with the Growlithe. "Hello, there! Nice weather we're having? I came here with her..." He gestured to Tenko. "...and it has been fun, so far. Are you having fun, yet?"
Tenko turned around in her seat, so she could get a better look at Eienna and company. Then, she squealed and said, "Your Pichu're all so cute!" Then, she stopped and then added, "Oh, it's my first time meeting you too! The name's Tenko."
Moments later, the lights on the stage dimmed and the ringmaster stepped up and said, "Ladies, gentlemen, and Pokemon, welcome to the best show on Earth!"
His Chatot parroted, "On Earth!"

"oohhhhh...." Sandy said, then thoguht for a moment before looking back at poke. "..but I don't look like pokey...why is that..." she looked a little confused
Aloura had been looking at the middle of the stage, when she saw her eevee friend had arrived. "There you are!" she said. "It's been ages since I saw you!" have you been alright?" she asked
"Hey Eienna" poke said. "I've been fine, professor gum has me doing all kinds of weird stuff, but it's fun" she looked back "you?"

"Yus!" the Growlithe answered, with a great big doggy grin. "I've never seen anything like this before. It's awesome. Lots of yummies, too." He licked his lips, thinking of the popcorn he'd gotten to try earlier.
Aithne was beginning to feel quite at home, now that her old friend was next to her. "I've been fine," she replied in her somewhat singsongy voice. "Our trainer's kept us all safe and cozy. How about you?"
"Thanks, Tenko. Nice to meet you," Ei said, more confident in her greetings than she used to be. She offered a handshake. "I'm Eienna." She turned, then, to Poke. "I'm just fine, and my pokemon are making me quite proud of them. Charlie's umm...special-ed has been going well, and I suspect he'll evolve soon. Florin and I have been working on some possible exhibition routines, and the two Pikas from the lab are settling in very nicely. I thought Aithne would have more trouble adjusting than she has. Roraima and I are getting to know each other now..." she trailed off as the lights dimmed. "It's wonderful."

Cloudears smiled back at the Growlithe. "I agree. I think the one with the fire type looks like its going to be fun to see. I like the food here too, especially the yellow salty thing in those striped boxes. I like salty stuff more than sweet things."
"You're welcome, Eienna! And likewise!" Tenko said. "I'm not sure if I could say the same thing about my Pokemon. I love them all, but Anpan and Meronpan keep getting into fights with eachother and they fight over my attention too. Cloudears is fine with pretty much everyone, but he acts like he's afraid of Mocha, but I know she wouldn't hurt a thing. They both help me find things to test in new medicines, which is great. Anpan is helpful as far as that goes too, since she get the berries up in high trees easier. But I end up having to try them out on Melonpan more than I'd like to." She nervously giggled after that. "Speaking of Pokemon evolving, I think Cloudears might evolve soon, since I've had him for so long and all." Then, she stopped and listened to what was happening on stage. "Ooh, they're starting!"
The ringleader announced the first act. "First up, we have the lovely acrobat, Helena U. Epops and her talented Exeggcute and Voltorb." Then, he backed up to give the acrobat and her Pokemon center stage.
She turned towards the audience and curtsied, before starting her act. Then, she began juggling one Exeggcute. Then, two. Then, three. This continued on until she was juggling all six. After that, she juggled them along with her Voltorb, so she was juggling seven things in all. After this, she dropped her Voltorb, balanced herself on top of it, and didn't stop juggling at all. Then, she log-rolled on it backwards all around the stage while still juggling.
Afterward, she stopped and set them all down to give them a break. They all bowed.
It looked like the act was over, but then, the ringleader stepped foward and released a Pokemon from a Pokeball on his belt - he must've been trying to keep it secret. It was an Arcanine. He backed up again after that. After that, the acrobat set up three hoops in a line. She got on top of it, stood up, and began juggling again as it ran around the stage and did tricks. It stood up on its hind legs and then its forelegs and it was able to walk perfectly balanced each time - the acrobat didn't lose her balance either - imitated a bucking Rapidash, and jumped through hoops. After this, she gave her Exeggcute and Voltorb a break again and got off the Arcanine. She gave some hand signals and it set the hoops on fire with its Fire Blast and then jumped through them. Finally, she got back on it and it jumped through them with her on its back.
After all this, they all bowed. "I hope you all enjoyed our act!"

Eienna realized, as the act ended, that Florin's eyes had become bigger than his head in his amazement. He barked once and vaulted off her lap, landing in the ring before she could even process what was happening. He ran right up to the Arcanine, questing information from his new hero. Ei realized that calling him back wasn't going to do any good, so she quietly excused herself and began working her way down the aisles to retrieve her wayward Growlithe. In the meantime, he seemed to be endearing himself to the performers, attempting to mimic what they did....
The more timid of Eienna's pokemon huddled together as she left them. Quantum ridiculed them for their 'cowardice', and Ion, oddly enough, smacked her clear off the bench. It could have started a fight, but Quantum was so surprised she forgot to be angry.

"I'm glad" Aloura replied to her friend. "I was worried that some of the trainers wouldn't be so nice..." She trailed off, remembering all the rumors she had heard about evil trainers. She then brightened up again when asked if she was alright. "yeah, poke has been really kind to me. She plays with us alot and rarely puts us in those pokeball thingies".
"wow, it sounds like your pokemon are really entertaining" poke laughed about some of the antics she was hearing. "As for mine, I'm just glad to see them run around and have fun. I really should start training them..but I prefer to see them just act cute and have fun. Sandy loves playing in the water, and I can see she's trying to practice her surf move. Aloura is more...watchfull I guess. She watches over sandy like a big sister, and it looks really cute when sandy jumps on her back for a ride"
"ah! It's gonna start!" she stopped talking when the lights dimmed, and watched the ringleader come on stage. At this point, Sandy jumped onto the back of the chair and then jumped onto pokes head so she could get a better look at the stage. She started to jump up and down when the pokemon were being juggled.
"Amazing!" Aloura peeped. Her eyes then widened when the arcanine came out.
"Dam...." poke was impressed by the performance, but then looked over as Eiennas growlethie had jumped off it's trainers lap and down towards the ring. "Ah!" she put her hand to her head and wondered if she should just sit there or assist the trainer

((I was waiting to see what the 'performer' would do, but I suppose I'll go ahead))
Eienna was three-quarters of the way down when Florin started to glow. She screeched to a halt so hard she nearly fell down the rest of the snack-strewn steps. "Ohhh....I get it." She continued down again, more slowly. Florin wanted to learn, and from the looks on the performers' faces, they didn't mind too much. Even the crowd seemed to be liking it. She reached the edge of the ring....to find herself looking into the eyes of an Arcanine. HER arcanine. She called Florin to her and gave him a big hug, thanking the performers for putting up with that little 'interruption'. To her surprise, they asked if she would bring Florin and train with them while they were in the area. Suppressing a squeal, she accepted, thanking them again and taking Florin back to their seats - except now, she had to put Photon on her lap and and squish the others over a touch to fit him.
