Eyes barely open, Njozi let out a broad yawn. The sun was still in the sky, but only just. She wasn't too fond of the daylight hours, mainly due to the heat that seemed to soak into her body because of her coat. It was also the similarity to the night sky that made her want to run around at night, feeling apart of the broad night sky.
Her tail moved slowly, and she yawned again, tasting the air around her. Her siblings were probably off playing in the light. Njozi could tell that her sleep schedule was shifting more towards a normal pattern, probably something that came with age.
She blinked slowly, pale eyes adjusting to the light, as she had decided to wake up and spend some time with her family. But it was just so hard to get up. Frustrated, she rolled onto her back, letting the soft fur on her belly get warm. Closing her eyes, she had all but given up on waking up today.

Sa'chiel had been awake for hours now, out exploring the area and playing with a few of his more awake siblings, though they had grown boring quickly and he had gone searching for Njozi. Perhaps she would be fun to play with?
He spotted her, sprawled out and appearing to be fast asleep and hid a grin. The perfect time to practice pouncing, he mused to himself, dropping into a crouch as he crept towards her, his tail flicking backwards and forth behind him.
When he had moved closer, he gave a slight purr as he launched himself at his sister, catching himself before actually hitting her, his paws holding himself up above her. "Rawr!" He crowed playfully, waiting for her to react to his 'pounce' grinning down at her.

Ears slowly swiveling up, Njozi blinked a few times, the dull smile still on her face. Bright blue eyes opened again, and the last thing she expected was to see her brother's pale blue frame above her. He looked the most like their mother, unlike herself, and it made her wonder all the more who her father was.
She lethargically lifted a paw, playfully swatting at her bouncy brother, who she thought had way too much energy. Laughing, she rolled over onto her back, hoping to raise more energy this way. "Sa'chiel, what are you doing over here? Why aren't you playing with everyone else?" Not that she was upset that he had decided to come see her, something her other siblings rarely did, but it was just a bit odd.

He grinned down at his sister, looking amused at her lazy nature. He was the opposite, he had to keep moving. Maybe he had stolen her energy? She had gotten his sleepiness and he had gotten her bounciness. That sounded plausible.
"I was playing with them earlier," he responded, pawing her lightly before flopping to the side, sprawling out next to her. "I wanted to see what you were doing. Were you sleeping again?" He looked curious. He didn't like sleeping. Sleeping was boring, but she did it a lot.

He really did just seem to have too much energy. Njozi had to shake her head a few times to keep herself awake. "I may have been." She sucked in her bottom lip, holding in a grin. "But I'm just so...tired..." Rolling over right up next to him, nuzzling her head into his side. Soft fur was so comfortable, much more than the rock she had been laying on.
"If you were playing, why would you want to come over here with me? You know how much I sleep." Voice muffled in his fur, she giggled a little, making fun of her own sleep habits. She was slowly changing, but it would take a little while to fully grow out of her excessive sleep. She was already awake now, and that showed some change.

Sa'chiel wiggled when she moved, using him as a pillow, but did not dislodge her. She was quiet and sleepy all the time, and he shifted, wanting to move but not wanting to wake her up. She needed lots of sleep, more maybe she just liked sleep too much.
"I'm not allowed to want to come and see you just to spend time with my sister?" Sa'chiel said, pouting teasingly down at his sister. He lasted only a few moments with the jokingly sorrowful look, before he grinned and wiggled again. "They were doing boring stuff, so I wanted so see if you were doing anything more interesting, but you are just sleeping." He said it as if it was a horrible word.

"Well, it just seems like...." Letting out a yawn, Njozi re-situated her position between words. "...a waste of your energy to want to come and spend time doing nothing with me." Peeking her eyes open, she looked up at him, watching his mouth move as he spoke.
"You should know better, silly!" Lightly prodding his side with her paws, she giggled at the thought of her doing anything exciting. "But if you really want to do something, maybe I can..." Rolling over, she wobbled to her paws, wanting to entertain her brother. She loved his company, but didn't want to bore him with her sleeping patterns.

Sa'chiel huffed a little, pawing at her jokingly. "It's never a waste of anything spending time with you, Sister!" He told her, honestly but it was said in a joking way. He enjoyed spending time with her, when she was awake, she was interesting and fun. If only she didn't sleep quite as much, he thought pouting.
He perked up when she wobbled onto her paws. He lept to his feet, mostly to catch her if she fell but also from excitement. "Really? That would be brilliant! What do you want to do, Njozi?" He beamed at her, bouncing on the pads of his paws, obviously eager to do something, anything!
