Personality : Failing at two training programs hasn't had the best effect on Lucy's self-esteem, so she tends to brush off her own achievments and praise and admire others'. She's quiet, preferring to watch unless she absolutely needs to get involved, in which case she's short and to the point. Despite this--or maybe because of this--she actually get crushes very easily, especially on people she thinks of as strong or noble. She rarely tells, of course, instead concentrating her amazing observation skills on the target of her affections until realizing that they have no interest in her, then moping for a bit before she moves on.
History : Born to a rogue, well-read, and very powerful Black Mage, Cordelia was intended to be be home-schooled and taught magic. Unfortunately, the little girl had almost no talent with it, so her mother decided instead that two mages didn't complement each other, and decided to train her daughter's body, so she could fight with her fists as a defender. Due to allergies, and inhereting her mother's stamina, that didn't go so well either.
By the age of 15, Cordelia had developed a little muscle mass, and knew a lot about magic, but demonstrated no exceptional talent in either. Her exasparated mother gave up training her to be a fighter and bought her a handgun for self-defense, "In case things get really bad," failing to realize that incredible observation skills make for excellent snipers. A year and a half later, Cordelia decided not burden her mother anymore, and left to hone her skills with the gun, and was eventually pointed to seeD.
