It had been some time since Corvus run into that crazy green female on his border patrol. Since then his wounds had nearly completely healed and he had mostly forgiven her for what she had done. Though he couldn't for the life of him figure out why she had attacked him he had been pleasant and open and offered her several things and she turned against him. Giving his head a shake as he padded along the packs border trying to rid himself of that thought. For all the negative thoughts that swirled in his mind around her Corvus also thought it was a shame that such a pretty female could be so angry.
His pace slowed as he neared the spot where he first met her. Did he expect her to come rushing out from one of the bushes to attack him again? Well he certainly didn't want that. But he was curious to know if the female would ever come back to finish him off.

Thealia was quite mad at herself, she had let that blasted male go so many weeks ago. And for what, so that she could possibly use him in a different way. That likely wouldn't happen after what she did to him last time, but she had to at least try, and should he decide to no go with her plan, well then she would finish what she started the last time.
Hurrying along the path she had taken last time Thealia wondered just how long she would need to wait before the green male came by. Chances are he would patrol the border at the same time each day, if he was a good at his job of course. But would he bring another with him? That wouldn't stop her from trying her idea but it would certainly complicate things just a bit. Crouching in some dense brush Thealia waiting, looking for any signs of the green male who had called himself Corvus.

Coming to a stop Corvus too a deep breath to settle his nerves. The chances of running into that female again after all this time were so slim that he was just letting his mind play tricks on him. But even so, maybe he should have brought Merrill or Chiv with him today, just as female insurance since that green female had seemed to hate males but prefer females.
His eyes scanned the area looking and listening, but there was no sign of her anywhere. Not that she would be easily spotted amidst all the green spring foliage, but still, it couldn't hurt to look, just so that he would know whether another attack was coming or not.

Thealia watched in complete silence as the male came to a stop and looked about. He seemed a bit paranoid about being out here again, seems her little tiff with him had buried itself in him mind. She had to suppress a growl that threatened to give away her hiding spot at the thought of watching him run away the last time and what she planned to do now.
Pale eyes watched the males every move judging the best way of how to execute her plan. Clearly no matter what she did would cause him to think she was just hear to attack him again, so she needed to gain his trust, something she was an expert at being a very untrusting wolf herself. So finally she pulled herself out of the bushes revealing herself to the male, but merely stood there looking as kind and pleasant as possible.

Corvus started as a bush not far away seemed to melt into the female wolfs shape. Was he delirious or was she truly standing there? He gave his head a shake and then looked back towards her, well she was still there which meant that she was indeed real. He raised himself to stand tall, he would not let this female past him and attack the pack like she had done to him before. "You again. What is it that you want this time? Come to finish what you started?" For all the wrong doings this female had done against him Corvus refused to go on the attack just yet, he at least wanted to know why she was here and that wouldn't happen if they were fighting.

A smirk crossed Thealia's maw for a moment, so he thought exactly what she expected him to, that she had returned to finish him off. Well so be it, either way she would win the day whether it was through fighting or her new plan. Inwardly she was hating herself for what she was about to do but knew it was necessary. Her face dropped into a hurt expression, eyes filled with pain. "Do you really think that is why I am here?" She asked in a smooth tone. And just to add to the effect she pulled her tail in close, but not too close as she couldn't allow herself to completely lower herself to that level.

Corvus let out a huff. "After what happened last time it's hard to think any other way." Though he had to admit that sad expression on her face was quite sincere looking, almost that she regretted what happened last time. Perhaps she had just been caught off guard and had merely acted without thinking. That had to be it, after all why else would a female attack a male who had done nothing wrong. "Then why are you here?" He asked, now a bit curious about her return.

Falling into her trap already, Thealia gave Corvus a warm smile, not to big of one, just enough to help things along. "I came to check on you." She allowed her voice to be friendly and show a bit of concern. "I felt so terrible about what happened when we met that I just had to come and see if you were okay." She took a hesitant step forward, but didn't want to push her luck since she wasn't sure if the male had fallen completely before getting too close to him. "Your wounds look like they healed up nicely."

This change in her attitude towards him was both welcoming and confusing. Last time she had been so angry from the start, turned his words against him and just when he thought it couldn't get any worse she had attacked him. This time however she spoke so softly and seemed so concerned over him. Females, they were so confusing and he would probably never fully understand them, but even so this one still seemed so different from all the other females he had encountered.
"You came to check on me?" He asked, though it was more repeating what she had said for his benefit than actually asking the question. He chanced a glance down at his chest. Yes, his wounds had healed nicely. "Well you've checked on me, I'm healed."

Thealia took another cautious step forward though she was pretty sure the male would not take it as a step towards another attack. "I hope you can forgive me. Maybe I can do something to show you how sorry I am. Help you hunt to provide for your pack or something?" A smile was added to that offer just to entice his that much more. She really did hope he would agree to this because she sooner they finished with this the sooner she could drop this disgusting act. Playing the part of a weak female did not sit well with Thealia but sometime one had to do things that weren't ideal just to get what they needed - and wanted.

Corvus could feel himself melt just a bit at that smile. She was so beautiful when she wasn't trying to rip his throat out. "I will forgive you." He told her somewhat bashfully. "Perhaps you could tell me your name?" Corvus hoped upon all hopes that she would tell him this. He couldn't stand not knowing who she was.
As for her offer of help. Well if she truly wasn't the vicious female from last time maybe he could use her help. Though there was plenty of food for the pack right now so bringing more in may not be for the best. "Perhaps you could keep me company while I finish my border check."

Thealia flashed another smile. Oh yes, she had him right where she wanted him. This was really all too easy, which just proved that males were truly the weaker of the genders. Had he tried this one her she would have most certainly not fallen for him that quickly - or at all. But still, now that she seemed to have gained his trust perhaps he would be the one to help her out with this little plan of hers. "My name is Thealia." She said softly.
"I would love to accompany you." She moved towards him slowly, purposefully. "Shall we be off then?" She asked and turned to walk in the direction he had been going in before he stopped. Of course she let her tail ever so slightly brush up against his leg as she walked away. That ought to be the finishing touch on today's work, Thealia thought and she looked back at him with a smile.

"Thealia, that is a beautiful name." Corvus smiled as the wolf. Now that he knew her name he could truly forgive her for what she had done. Swallowing hard as she walked slowly towards him Corvus was certain his heart out pound itself right out of his chest. The way she moved it was intoxicating. And when her tail brushed his leg, he felt a shiver run down his spine.
"Yes, let us be off." He said, though he stumbled to find the words as he quickly caught up with her. As they walked Corvus told her about the pack and pointed out all the interesting features that lay along their border. Though he had to admit he was quite distracted by her so his words didn't always come out clear.

She could have cared less about what the pack was all about, how many members there were and that that rock right there was a marker for the border - though she did file this information away for later. But Thealia kept up her nice girl act and acted interested in everything Corvus said. He certainly was a sucker for a few kind words and the odd smile, which worked out quite well for Thealia as it meant less effort on her behalf to get what she wanted.
Once they were done with Corvus' border patrol they sat and talked for some time about the trees and the new spring weather and all the other topics that Thealia would have normally avoided. She just had to pretend just a bit longer and then she would be done with it all - and Corvus as well. As the sun dipped down Thealia thought this was the best time to set the next step of her plan into motion. "My it is getting late." She commented, though left it at that for now.

Time had really flown by as the two sat and talked. Corvus had not expected her to be this open and pleasant. She was a completely different wolf and he was liking it. When she mentioned how late it was getting he looked up at the darkening sky and the sun which sat low. How long had they been talking here? Corvus supposed she would be returning to her own pack now, though he did wish he could spend just a bit more time with her.
"Indeed it is getting late." He said as his gaze returned to her. "There are some dens, not far from here," he began somewhat hesitantly, not sure if suggesting this would offend her. "If you wanted to you would be more than welcome to stay in them tonight and you could return to your pack in the morning."
