Did anyone see the episode where they went to Israel?
My friend was going on about how funny it was, so I decided to watch it.
It was the biggest piece of garbage I have seen in a long time.
Geeze, could they get any more offensive to Xians and Jews?
In fact, it wasn't even so much offensive as it was incredibly lame.

I've always thought the Simpsons was a stupid show to begin with, so I never watched it. And I do agree that is incredibly lame.

I saw that episode, I thought it was pretty good. They always use satire, as a form of humor. I don't think anything is sacred to them. (It's not so funny when the satire falls on you)
Anyways, one thing I noticed in the episode was that the Jewish people didn't believe in hell. I actually had to Google it, to confirm. I have to say that I much prefer the Jewish afterlife to the Christian one. You love god for god, rather then to avoid eternal torture.
The Simpson's has always been an educational show. I've learned a lot from them. (However, you must separate the stereotypes from the facts)

I haven't seen the episode(the video in the link wouldn't play). I usually like the Simpsons, but IMR is a genius and she's always right, so she's right.

I always found the Simpsons unfunny because they took something too far or not enough. Like they would either drown it to be unfunny or just plain damped it. Because of this, I could understand it being offensive at times. ( Not to mention the author of Simpsons has some...problems with the Middle East and ect... ) I wasn't able to see the video but knowing you, your probably right.

I found a better link: The FOX Wesbsite. http://www.fox.com/watch/simpsonsFor the next week or two it should be here under "The Greatest Story ever D'hoed" I am offended. At least they used mostly real Hebrew and Yiddish. But no. Just no. IMR is right.

Thank you for posting it! People have been talking about this but I had no other way of watching it.
I laughed several times, I think it was pretty funny. Sasha Baron Cohen does good Israeli accent. That's a good thing for him, although I really hate that accent. XD

Eh, I take that show with a grain of salt. Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, its all meant to offend people.
I thought this was kind of humourus, i love the tour guide ;P "SHUT YOUR FACE!" - - Thats so blunt xD

I can't tell. for some reason other accents sound cool or interesting to my ears. Mine sounds, to me, like the person has a lisp. I invest much effort into not speaking like that when I speak English. I guess that's just being too self conscious.

Anyway it's much better than silly "Don't Mess with the Zohan". That was an hour or so of continuous headdesking.
