xxmarzipanzxx (10:39:55 AM): The sun had set a few hours ago and all that light the scene were a few flickering lamp posts. A tom dressed in glowsticks and interesting apparel was hidden away from those sources of light though. He wanted to be in the dark, or well, rather away from the unflattering yellow shine of those cheap bulbs for the street lights. He had his own blub from his personal flashlight. It was a black light flashlight that he propped up on a stand and shone at his white canvas. It was the only proper way to view what he was exactly doing with his UV paints. Sure, he prefered to work on bodies, but canvases were nice too. The male's tail twitched and flicked and he consentrated on crating the most gorgeous naked tree. He was planning on adding either a snow covered effect with his white and blue paint or a burning effect with his yellows and reds. He hadn't decided though. From a distance surely somebody would think something strange was up from the amount of glowing Kayden was emmitting.

FallenEvenStar (10:50:17 AM): As the weather cooled down tremendously, a chill swept across Falain's spine. "Nyaaaaaaah!" she cried out loud, rubbing her eye lids as she went into a waking up mode. Earlier in the day, she fell across a school, and had gained much attention to passing stranger, but oddly enough all this attention had made her rather tired. Making a home out of a nice little bush, she relaxed there for the rest of the day, not realizing so much time had passed. As her eyes started to adjust to the darkness, she noticed a weird light quite a distance from her.... It wasn't typical street lights..... No... this light had an eerie feeling to it.... and whaaa? There were other colorful lights that had some weird glow to it as well. "I wonder what that is..." she uttered curiously to herself as she crawled from under the bush, making her way towards the strange light source. "Prrrrrr......" despite it's strangeness, Falain was rather fond of its colors, and quickened her pace until she realized it was another cat.... working on something..... Pondering if she should interrupt him or not.... she let out a shrilled purr, wondering if she could just randomly startle the mysterous cat "Prrrrrrrbt!"

xxmarzipanzxx (10:58:15 AM): He thought he had been alone. He could have sworn he was so secluded that not a soul, not even the others attending the University could have found him. Yet, there was a sudden sign of an observer. A faint, yet distinct purring of some other feline. Well, Kayden hoped that it was a feline at least. He was sort of spooked by the thought of monsters in the night. His body was tense, almost like stone. Slowly he turned, almost to scared to take a peek and see what it was, but when he came to notice a rather sweet looking girl he felt the fear wash away from his mind and his body was put at ease again. His blue eyes reflected the light from the glowstick that clung around his neck and shown an illuminous shimmer. "Hey there... I didn't know I had an audience." He felt a small chuckle bubble up from his vocals and he placed his paint brushes down and stared at the girl, giving her more attention now. He took his black light and shined it in her direction to get a better look at her. "What's your name?"

FallenEvenStar (11:13:19 AM): With a light shining at her eyes, Falain dramatically covered her eyes with one hand, and posed in a 'stop motion with the other', "Eeep! The light! It's attacking me!" she exclaimed before falling backwards. As she tried to recover from the light attack, she blinked as the boy asked her for her name. "Prrrrpt..." she replied, before trying to get up. "Oh um..... I'm Falain...." she quietly replied, blinking a few times rapidly from the attention of the light in her eyes.... Just as she was adjusted to the dark, she was being investigated with light. "Oh the irony", she thought to herself. Flickering her tail back and forth, she inched slightly closer, but cautiously, "So what's your name? And and and and! What are you dooooooooooooing?" she asked in return. Clearly she was regressing because she was unable to be her capable elegant and composed self, a trait she wanted to strive to perfection.

xxmarzipanzxx (11:18:04 AM): When she shouted Kayden
jumped from the sudden exclaimation. Never would he have thought such a small and adorable creature such as herself was so capable of shouting and making such a scene. He dropped the shine of the light to the floor, pointing it down towards the Earth. "Sorry, about that Falain. I didn't mean to blind you. " He tilted his head as he watched her through the darkness instead now. "My name is Kayden. I attend school here... I was just ... working on a project." He tilted his head at her 'ands' and couldn't help but feel a smirk sliding across his face. "And what is a little thing like you doing out here all alone... wait... you are alone right?" He raised a curious eyebrow and shined the light around them, trying to see if they were all alone or not.

FallenEvenStar (11:30:41 AM): Squinting, she squeaked, "Heeeeey..... I'm not a little thing...." As Kayden flashed a lot around her, she jokingly commentated, "Oh and I'm not alone..... I...... control a clan of invisible ninja, that perfectly follow my every command..... yupyup". Fluffing herself, she giggled, "Ok..... yeah..... I'm alone...... Just wandering since I get bored...." trailing off, she recalled Kayden had mentioned something about a project, "Oh wait...... you have a project? Am I bothering you? I can leave if it's very important!" Even though she didn't really want to leave since it was nice to have company, she would if she knew she was being a bother to the poor boy, having to deal with her.

xxmarzipanzxx (11:36:17 AM): As she told him about her invisible gang of lethal ninjas that follow commands like well trained dogs he couldn't help but feel a sense of laughter building up inside of him. He felt his body spasming from his attempts to keep it inside but soon he couldn't help himself and he poured out laughter, loud and unashamed. "Hahaha! You're hilarious. Man, you're a silly girl," he continued to laugh until the humor died down and he wiped away an invisible tear and flicked it away. When she spoke up about his said project he noticed a sense of pride starting to ooze out from his expression. "Mhm, It's not to important though. I mean... well it is... but ... you don't have to leave. I like company when I paint. Which is why I prefer to paint people. I like a bit of conversation while I work." He shined his flashlight on his work, making it glow bright. The tree's branches reached out in all of their naked glory, waiting for the flames or blanket of snow Kayden was going to place upon them. "So, Falain... do you like heat or cold?" Maybe her choice would decide how this painting turned out.

FallenEvenStar (12:16:59 PM): Staring at Kayden as he started to laugh at her, she puffed up and stuck her tongue out at him, "Prrrppppppt! Silly Kayden-sir! I'm not funny!" As Kayden asked her about heat or cold, she quickly replied with "Heat!!" She absolutely hated the cold since it would always wake her up, whereas being warm was the best thing in the world to her. Shaking her head really quickly, she realized what Kayden had said earlier "Wait.......... did you say you paint....... people?" she asked in confusion, since she knew paint generally belonged on objects.... not people...... "Won't people get mad if you paint them?" she asked curiously for she could not imagine someone actually wanting to be paint on, if that stuff got on fur, it would be terrible to get off! Matted Fur.... dry, crustyness.... Ewwwwwy! Not for her!.

xxmarzipanzxx (12:23:42 PM): Kayden couldn't help but chuckle at her none the less. It was just hard to keep a straight face when she was so silly and adorable. He hadn't really had the pleasure of being in the presence of such a child. "Heat it is then..." he picked up his brush and dipped it in the open container of orange. He brought the bristles to the canvas, making sure not to drip any and began to smear the colors onto the tree. "Hm? Mad? No no, I only paint people who wish to be exciting and appealing. Like... an attraction." He smirked and shrugged. "The paint is washable. I wouldn't use something that they couldn't get off. That wouldn't be a funny joke at all." He shook his head and continued to pain, finishing one side of the tree, showing her the process. "Like it so far?" he questioned with obvious interest in her answer. As he took a step back to look at it himself he tilted his head and hummed, "What if the other half was snowy? That would be an unusual sight, yes?" He smirked at the contrast and glanced over at her. "What do you think, kiddo?"

FallenEvenStar (12:41:30 PM): Tilting her head, she nodded, "Oh..... so you paint the willing who want to be a work of art themselves.... Makes sense...." As she looked at Kayden's progress, she sometimes commentated with "Oooohs" and "Ahhhhhs", the typical intrigued kid responses. When he finally asked her about what she thought of his latest concept, she furrowed her brows and thought extremely hard since she normally wasn't the art type, but was very perceptive when it came to beautiful things, ""Life and death?" she thought out loud since half of the tree would be alive, and the other dead if it was snowy. "That is unusual....... but sounds very poetic!" she exclaimed as she bounced around, hoping she made sense.

xxmarzipanzxx (12:50:35 PM): Kayden couldn't help but tilt his head at her assumption and it had striked the ragdoll as interesting to say the least. He hadn't been thinking in that sense but perhaps he should have been. She interpertted the peice very well, must better than he had expected the child to do anyways. "Thank you. I like the unusual and poetic." He chuckled and gave a powerful, confident nod before washing his brush in the bottle cap of water, cause a human cup would be far to large. It took him forever to get these special brushes made from a skillful stranger. "Well well..." he said as he placed a few final strokes to his painting and pulled away, adjusting the light so that it was shining just right on the painting, making the tree light up sensationally. "Hm, I like it.... what do you think?" he asked her with a smirk and tilted his head. "Do you like how it glows?" He thought that that might be another reason the child was attracted over here but he wasn't to positive about that.

FallenEvenStar (1:00:10 PM): As the tree, lit up with a beautiful glow, she squealed, "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey! It gloooows! Yay!" She hopped up down eagerly and started to chant, "Glowing! Glowing! Glowy glow glow!" Running around in circles, she bounced even more, until she grew slightly tired, slowly down her excitement. "Yeah... I like how it glows" she finally stated, and scooted a little closer to Kayden and the painting, to watch it closer. "Why does it glow like that? Doesn't paint usually look....... Ohh I unno..... not as interesting?" she asked most curiously since most of the art she has seen can't do what this one did.

xxmarzipanzxx (1:40:21 PM): Kay simply smiled at the girl as she sparked up and showed all sorts of enthusiasm. "Heh, yep... it sure does..." he continued to watch with amusement shining from his expression. It was pretty cool to have somebody who made you laugh as company. Maybe he should invite this kid around some time. With the stillness she seemed to be becoming more in tune with the painting. "Ah, the glowing... um... well you see. It wouldn't be possible without this light right here." He took the flashlight and shined it away to show that the paint wasn't glowing on it's own. It wasn't like his glowsticks that had their own source of light. "I guess it's just like... a reflexion in a way." He tilted his head and shrugged.
FallenEvenStar (4:19:16 PM): Blinking in amazement, Falain gasped, "Oh oh oh! Me! I wanna try! Can I hold the light?" she asked wanting to see how exactly the colors would glow again. With such a simple concept, she knew she could be entertained for hours. With impatience quickly getting to her, she started to run around Kayden, "Glow, glow, glow" she sang, "I wanna make it glow please please please!" she exclaimed hoping Kayden would hurry and give her the darn thing.
xxmarzipanzxx (4:22:55 PM): Kayden was very proud that he had brought such amazement to this girls life. She seemed to be truly captivated by the concept of lights and glowing things. Maybe he could find her a glowstick of her own somewhere. "Well, hm.... I don't kn-" he was cut off by her running around him explaining that she wanted to make it glow. He didn't want to hand her the flashlight because he had to try very hard to find this one but he figured she would be careful enough. "Okay, just... please, don't break it." He handed the flashlight to the child and bit his lip nervously as he supervised her.
FallenEvenStar (4:35:44 PM): Gasping, she held her breathe as she held the flashlight in her hands. "Aha! You're mine now evil light of doom!" she cried out loud, pointing it dramatically at the painting. As the light hit the painting, she was amused and very giddy, "Eeeee!! Yayayay! I did it" Looking back at the nervous Kayden, she waved the flashlight to his face. "Here you go!" she squeaked and waved good-bye to the flashlight. "Bye little light of doom! May you bring doomy glowingness to other paint!" she explained and looked back at Kayden, "So.......... what are you going to do now? Or is the painting still not finished?" she asked, flickering her tail back and forth quickly.
xxmarzipanzxx (4:40:16 PM): As the flashlight came back into his possession Kay couldn't help but feel a wave of relief washing over him. He took it in his hands and clicked the button off so that they were standing in the dark by themselves. Well, the glowsticks hanging from Kayden gave some faint light in a way. He found it absolutely charming how the kid wished his little 'light of doom' farewell. "Oh, it will see many more pantings. Don't you worry 'bout that." He set the flashlight back into his bag before turning to the painting and staring at it. "Hm... I think.... it's finished. I'm sure Gwin will be proud of me.... I hope." He chuckled softly before looking to the girl again. "Hm, I guess ... that's all. Time for me to hit the hay... unless... you wanna be my second project of the night." He knelt down to her level with a grin on her face. "Wanna glow?"
FallenEvenStar (4:49:52 PM): Tilting her head, she raised her hand, but instead of waiting for the go, she blurbed out, "What's a Gwin?" But then she realized, Kayden had offered to make her glow, "Omg! Like the peoples you make glow? Ooooh, will flashlight of doom, make me glow?" she asked, piling more questions at Kayden. Even though she realized she might get painted on, she did remember Kayden saying it would wash off since it would be mean to use non washable paint. Intrigued, Falain bounced up and down again, waiting for Kayden to explain his motives better.
xxmarzipanzxx (5:17:12 PM): Kayden laughed at her first question and shook his head, "No no... it'sn ot a what. It's a who. Gwin is my ... teacher. Mhm, and she's a very nice lady." He then took notice of her other questions and tried to roll out answers as soon as she was finished. "Yes like people I make glow. Yes, the flashlight will make you glow brightly. I take it you're interested." He laughed and looked her over carefully, trying to think of what he could do with her. "What about.... just a little face paint. I could make you a tiger. Rawr!" He gave a breathy chuckle as he wrinkled his nose and hooked his fingers, pretending they had big cat claws. He wanted to paint stripes over her face and give her a real exotic look. Plus, it'd be new for him to try. He usually just did tribal markings and such.
FallenEvenStar (5:34:56 PM): Nodding, she understood, "Ooooh! A teacher huh! Never had one of those!" she said outloud for a moment, and then went back to listening to what Kayden's plans were for her. "Omg! I get to a tiger! Yayayay! Glowing tiger!" Bouncing around in excitement, she mimiced Kayden, when he tried showing her big cat claws, "I can do it! I can be fierce! See? See? See? Rawr!" she exclaimed with fierce tiger hands. "Yeah! Let's do it! Glowing! Glowing!" she chanted once more.
