This huge arena is set up with a small copse of trees in the center, with a river running through the middle into a small pond in the center of the forest. Surrounding the Forest is an open grassy plain, the river does of course still run through the grass fields, splitting the arena right down the center.

Kaizen walked into the arena, his left hand resting on the pommel of the blade that LT had given him. His face was blank, his stark white eyes vacant, as he attempted to quell the nerves that were gnawing at him. He didn't know who his opponent would be, but whoever it was would be strong. Kaizen stopped in the middle of the grassy area and waited for his opponent to arrive."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Haseo stepped into the arena, his left hand resting on the hilt of his sword as he walked past the river, eying his opponent. Taking a good view of his surroundings, he noticed that the sun was in his favor...it was in the 2 oclock position, giving ample shadow for his manipulation.

Kai watched as his opponent approached, shifting his left hand so that it was now gripping the hilt of the katana, ready to draw it, albeit in a very strange way. After bowing to his opponent, Kai bent his knees slightly as he waited for the match to begin. He took note of how close to the river his opponent was, having just crossed it to get to Kai himself, perhaps he would be able to use that to his advantage."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Haseo took his stance, placing his left foot behind him and his right foot out. He placed his right hand over the hilt of the blade, letting it hover in place as he gripped the sheath tightly with his left. "Shall we?" he griinned, beckoning for Kai to make the first move.

Kai smiled slightly at his opponents cocksure attitude, with a shrug he made several hand-seals. As he made the seals, a deep sapphire blue color began to leak out of the center of his eyes, appearing almost like ink as it spreads through water, until both of his eyes turned a deep sapphire blue. Performing the final seal, Kai said in calm tone, "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu." Two clones appeared on either side of the real Kai, while a third formed several yards behind Haseo, rising out of the water as if it had been lurking there all along.
The two clones then moved swiftly forward, drawing their swords as they moved to attack Haseo, one readying a strike at his left arm, while the other aimed a blow at Haseo's right leg. Meanwhile the third clone began performing it's own hand-seals as it readied itself to perform its own jutsu. The real Kai began moving to the left, circling around to get attack from a different angle, his hands already flashing swiftly through more hand-seals."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me" (just call me on it if that third clone is bs, I honestly don't know how far away we can make a clone appear, but I figured as long as the clone was formed on a water source it would be ok Jutsu used: Mizu Bunshin no jutsu x3 Chakra Cost: academy: 2 Genin: 2 Chuunin: 3 Low Jounin (B): 5 High Jounin (A): 7 Sannin/Kage: 18 Chakra Points (starting): 25 + 14(Gobi)= 39 Half chakra point cost for all elemental jutsu, but double the cost for non elemental jutsu(Gobi) 2/2=1*3=3 39-3=36 Current Chakra points= 36 ok so now I'm just going to keep up with only the current chakra points)

"Hiten Mitsurugi...Battoujutsu!" he exclaimed as his speed was faster than the two clones heading for him. With one swift and powerful motion, the blade cut through the first clone, severing it in half as it melted in a puddle of water. The second clone was still heading towards him, so with the same motion, Haseo grapsed tightly to his sheath as he struck a head blow with his sheath. As the two clones now dissapeared, he looked to his right, turning his body as he kept his eyes on Kai. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted another clone. Must have made it before, he thought as he stood at the ready, his hands grasping unto his sheath and sword.

As Haseo sheared through the first clone, the third clone was finishing its hand-seals as it cried out, "Mizu Shuriken no Jutsu!" Eight streams of water rose from the stream the clone was standing on and stopped at roughly chest level as the water began to coalesce and spin, each stream turning into a spinning disk of water before they took the form of eight five-pronged shuriken. The clone launched the shuriken at Haseo just as the second clone was destroyed, sending them all sailing at incredible speeds towards their target, each at a slightly different elevation so they couldn't all be destroyed with a single swing of Haseo's sword. After using the jutsu the clone dispersed into water, becoming one with the flow of the water once more.
Meanwhile the real Kaizen had completed his own hand-seals and cried out, "Fukishi no Jutsu!" A simple genjutsu, but a useful one all the same, it would cause Haseo to suddenly see double of everything, making it even more difficult to destroy all the mizu shuriken that were sailing towards him. After completing his jutsu, Kaizen drew his blade and began moving forward and to his right so that Haseo would be between himself and the stream, though for now he was being careful to keep some distance until he learned more about his opponent."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me" (Jutsu's used: Mizu shuriken no jutsuFukushi no jutsuCurrent chakra points: 31 I don't know if it will be up by the time you look at this again, but be sure to take a look at the rules for clones that I have in the crew forum and you'll understand why the clone dispersed after casting the jutsu)
