You've noticed other people's Saighs running around with little things logged in their 'Inventory', or 'Storage Dens' or whathaveyou, yes? Or... Even items that look unique, that you haven't seen on any other Saigh, right? Well... HERE'S how you GET those items!

Every once in a while, while your Saigh is adventuring, they might find something... A pretty flower, or a durable leaf, maybe a thick vine, maybe even a seashell! Depends on the area. These items can be fashioned into special accessories if you can find the items NPCs(Non-player characters) that wander around. The Items NPCs will be a strangely-built feline. These NPCs have the unusual ability to manipulate both their paws and any items they come across, give or take the malleability of the items.

The items can then be combined, cleaned, or simply appropriated to fit the Saigh that found them. The items are ALSO welcomed to be traded, as there is a huge amount of them out there that can be manipulated. (Like your Saigh, these CANNOT be sold for personal gain, other than obtaining other items. The set rate is one item of each type for one of the same type, but that's not watched, so you can trade the items however you damned-well please. ^-^)

Some items can stand alone, however, they still require an npc's assistance to be put it on.

These items may also occasionally be found in minievents the npcs will host.

The first Item event: Shipwrecked! is now closed.
Help a cat get back to her 'keepers' by purchasing up to three attempts to find some of the beautiful items the ocean hides on it's shores. Be careful you don't step on a poisonous sea urchin or something! But have fun. There's a wide variety of sea- and boat-themed items available to be found!

Below will be a list of items that have thus-far been found, and accessories that your genius has created! Credit for the first of each accessory's division will be granted where it's needed.

All items are of my design. If you would like for me to 'hatch' an item in your adventure, please send me a PM, and I will see what I can do, but I do NOT take requests on items. If you're in a certain area, I'm going to spawn something that suits that area, no ifs, ands, buts, or paws about it. The inventory system is mine to run. (Unless Nyght wants to play with it, that's welcome too. The items would probably fit a bit better. XD)

The items created by NPCs are ONLY able to be passed down if you request an npc spawn at the birth of the wearing Saigh's cubs to transfer an item to the young. Otherwise, the item stays where it's been put until you desire to remove and destroy it. Accessories are NOT genetic, so keep a UC of the Saigh without them on for when you turn in a breeding request.

Here is a list of items that have been found, to date, by their 'category'. Please note that some items are residential only to certain areas, and many come in multiple varieties that may, or may not have been found, yet.

Butterfly Shell Variations (Beach Items Only)
While Butterfly Shells can come in a number of unbelievable color combinations, they will most often be solely two-tone, or, of two colors. The luck of the Butterfly shell often has it's color pattern matching, or heavily contrasting, the colors of the finder, and may very easily have a touch of color to bring out a less noticeable feature of the Saigh that found it, such as the eyes, or a subtle marking.
Here's the variations that have been seen.

Here's a list of Herbal units and some information about them and when, and perhaps where, they can be found.

Wishweed
User Image
The wishweed is a painfully overcommon plant. This is why it is, in fact, classified as a weed. The individual seedlings of this plant posess a natural luminescence, much like fireflies, and the pollen of the Starpollen (Listed and described below.) Wishweed can be found easily in patches of lush green, and is most prominent in any season or environment that doesn't involve snow, though it CAN survive colder temperatures. Because of their pale coloration, they can be a royal pain to find in the winter months, but it is possible to find them. Wishweed posess a currently-unexplored ability that has yet to recieve further description, though that doesn't mean there isn't a process in motion towards this goal. They very much resemble the 'Dandelion', of another contient, although they never sprout into sunflower-like flowers, and only take a short period of time to replenish their seeds. They usually stick to pastel greens and blues in color, but in colder months may be found in a dull gold color.

Field Daisy
User Image
The Field Daisy: A common flower, and very pretty. Field Daisies have long, vine-like stems with durable fibres, and usually break close to the ground. They can be easily found blanketting green fields in the Spring and early summer, and persist through the fall, and very late winter. Field Daisies can accustom themselves to many colors, but retain mostly pastel variations. However, due to the durable nature of the flower, one can dye it a different color, if they wish, for decoration. This requires a trained hand, only able to be found on a select few who have practiced the art. The feline seen bounding around the recent event areas on this continent appears to have such a proficiency with the dyes, but has yet to offer her services in the area.

Spiderthorn
User Image
Spiderthorn is a parasite in it's own right. This plant has no favored season, though heat seems to annoy the plant outright. This plant acts much like a vine, preferring solid, unmoving surfaces to string itself to. In the unlikely event it can be pried from the tree without completely paralyzing the attacker, the sharp points where it broke from it's vine and the spines along it's stem become volatile inflictives. The sap this plant creates when broken is one that is considered an irritant to Saighneian, and many of the breed are allergic to it, particularly those with minimal exposure to the plant. The sharp point on the stem and the thorns can be used to puncture, scratch, and violate flesh in much the manner of thin, superstrong claws, so it is often used for opening the holes in a Saighneian's ears when they are first given their earrings at birth, and can be used to repeat the process, as long as you wait for the sap to dry out before attempting that.

The sap is not the only dangerous part of this plant. The head of the plant, and the petals shooting off from it, produce a nearly toxic formula that can paralyze any who inhale it, and may be deadly to those with unchecked allergies to the sap. The petals are also laced with tiny thorns both accross and under the petals' surfaces. While this can catch on fur, it's more like the burrs you'll find in an arid environment, and usually offer little more than a brief, minor discomfort.

If the head of this flower is removed from it's stem and placed against the fur, the flower latches onto the host and pushes a fresh set of 'emergency' roots into the host to feed from them. Pain from this merging of species is usually restricted to the first injection, but may happen again if the flower is put through a trauma of sorts, after which, it will steal nutrients from the host to rebuild broken petals. It can, however, make a unique accessory, if you're willing to undergo the infliction. Upon the species merging, the flower's pollen adjusts its chemistry to nullify it's danger to it's host as a defensive measure.

Hollyhockey Thorngrace
User Image
The Hollyhockey Thorngrace! One of the most beautiful flowers (I've ever drawn) to grace the continent. The Thorngrace is fairly rare, keeping to the deader days of the colder months. The thorngrace usually behaves in a parasitic manner, leeching onto the higher boughs of trees that loose their leaves in the winter. When found on lower foliage, it's usually threaded through holley bushes, with the flowers dancing around the outside. For a long time, it was believed that bushes that presented these flowers were the same entity as the Thorngrace, only found otherwise when the gray tabby female showed up. The berries on this flower are edible, but they don't taste very good. Because of this, it's believed the berries may hold medicinal properties to their consumers, or when placed upon open wounds. This has not been proven or disproven. The thorns at the ends of the leaves are a solid, sturdy material, and have been used on occasion as stitch-holds when necessary. Other than that, they stick to fur like briars and burrs to spread the flower, as these are the actual seeds. Being scratched by these, however, can cause a mild rash and some itching. Piercing, for whatever reason, does not have the same effect.

Starpollen
User Image
Starpollen, usually a pastel pink flower, sometimes shifting over into more reds and in warmer months, pale blues and purples. Starpollen is so named for the pollen it gives off, having a sparkly pollen with a mild luminescence at night. The star-like pollen is only ever found in blue, green, or purple, but is not found with all of these flowers. The stem is mostly a flat expanse of vine, usually latched onto another vine, with a seeming preference for vines that drape from the boughs of trees. Inhaling the pollen of this flower does two things: It sends the sniffer into a short-lasting hallucinogenic fit and removes the pollen from the flower. The pollen of this plant, however, may be considered very valuable to some, as it has a use completely seperate from the rest of the flower. The tabby has yet to reveal exactly what that is, yet, but she provides little containers for the pollen when the flowers are found with it. Because these flowers are so incredibly rare to find, they're considered good luck charms in many off-continent cultures... Particularly since they're seen only on THIS continent.

The petals of the Starpollen are well known for closing when rain is approaching, and turning a blue or purple color to protect the pollen within.
