Hekima sat there, tearing at the fresh kill he managed to find on his was back from his adventures in the Rogue Lands. He figured he should probably bring the rest of it back to the youngin's, but found it a little too tempting to polish it off himself. Maybe this was a sign he needed to find something constructive to do, or else he'd be bloated and fat, like a water buffalo.
He dug into it anyway, and decided to leave half the kill for the cubs. After all, if he was nice to the cubs, the moms would notice him and maybe he could actually get somewhere with women instead of being this awkward leopon.

(( Really really really sorry about how long this took. ;n; School kind of got in the way, and I didn't have as much time for rps. ;^; )) Trotting along, Risa found his courage increasing by leaps and bounds every day. Not long ago, he found himself nearing the demons' borders, spitefully staring into its depths. Now, he just wandered through the grass, bearing his neon coat proudly.
Heterochromic eyes ahead, he caught sight of something familiar. Squinting, he knew it to be his brother, one that bore the colors of his mother, unlike himself. While they were only half-siblings, Risa still adored them, and knew that his hybrid half-siblings still played a key role in his mother's happiness.
"Hekima!" He grinned broadly, quickening his pace to join his half-brother, not realising that he had sat down to a fresh kill.

Hekima looked up from his kill, spotting in the distance a bright neon coat. It was one of his half-brother's, though he would never say such a thing. Family was important to him, and even if they did not share the same father, they were still brother's through and through.
Hekima rose from the carcass before him and wiped the blood from his muzzle with his paw. He gave his brother a smile and called to the white maned lion, "Risasi!"
Hekima approached Risasi leisurely, motioning to the kill he had brought back with him, "Are you hungry, brother? I brought back food."

It seemed odd nowadays seeing his hybrid siblings around. When Risa was younger, it seemed as though they were always so far away. But now, walking up to his brother, it seemed like commonplace.
"Hekima, how are you?" Coming up next to him, the difference in species became more apparent. Hekima seemed thicker, more muscular, than Risa, but he looked just like his mother.
"Oh no, I'm not very hungry at all." Grinning, Risa eyed the kill. He found himself not eating as much, and he didn't want to take any of this food from his brother when he wasn't hungry at all.
