Humming could be heard, a jolly song -- along with the hiss of a can of spraypaint or two as the feline sprayed lines of cream and pink on the side of the dilapidated old building just off the side of the Plaza. Sebastian -- or, as he preferrered, Sassy -- hummed as if he had not a care in the world, shifting from leg to leg, his tail swaying, wagging like an overactive dog's might. He sprayed long lines, forming shoulders and a neck of a beautiful -- and busty -- girl in a swimsuit. He had nice taste in art, if he did sayso himself.
He'd heard stories of this city, Ikebukuro. Which is why he came, but to be honest, he was bored. Perhaps that was why he rebelled so often. Perhaps it was because he was a little bit manic bipolar and ADHD tied into one hyperactive feline body. His tail continued to wag, oversized ears listening for oncomers as he finished the breasts of his "mural". They were covered in a swimsuit top, of course! But they were still a little...like melons, he decided with a firm nod. "Now for the leeeeeggggssss..." He drew out the word in a hiss as his can sputtered to a stop. "s**t." He never heard anyone else approach him as he continued to dig in his bag for another like-colored can.

She had been watching the male spray paint onto the building for quite awhile now. It seemed like a strange behavior to indulge in, but who was she to judge? She picked fights for random strangers with random strangers because of a pair of cute eyes. That hadn't ended well. Her legs were likely to bear the scars of the surprise attack for the rest of her life. It had been a novice mistake, to turn her back on a pissed off male. Hell, she hadn't figured he would go after her since he had been the one to call off the fighting. Shaking her head, black ringlets jiggling slightly she focused on the cat with glowsticks.
... his imagination was.... overactive in one particularly female department. Most women would fall over if that had those strapped to their chest.
She crept silently from her perch and with a ghostly half-smile on her lips she moved closer to the male, creeping up til she stood pretty much next to him.
"You've got nerve, Ace."

His huge ears were quite like radars, swiveling around, taking in sounds. Strangely, however, he didn't -hear- the girl coming near him until she was at his elbow, but he smelled her... A temper and dried blood. Yum. He dropped the empty paint can into the bag and turned to her, a wide, toothy smile on his face. "Sassy, actually. But Ace works. What?" He paused, wiggling his fingers in her direction. "You don't appreciate art?" He leaned against the still drying and he licked one of the...melons. "Mmmm... I love art."
Spinning around, his tail still wagging, he turned to abandon the mural and face her, hand on his hip. The other wiped sweat from his brow, then dropped to his side. "Hnnn.... Who're you, anyways? Just some random stranger who likes creeping up on people? Creeper." His tone was teasing.

Airi stiffened and watched with hidden horror as the male licked paint off of the disgusting brick wall. He was a few fries short of a Happy Meal… Blinking her delicate eyes she looked him over more carefully. Blonde blue hair, huge ears, tattoos, fishnet shirt, and shorts that looked ready to fall off his a**. He was… interesting in appearance to say the least? She took another pose of disdain, leaning back on the wall where it hadn’t been painted on, hips thrust out, back arched and yet she didn’t look as stiff as she was holding herself. “I appreciate art…. When I see it.”
Her ears pinned down, name-calling was a no-no with her since she chose not to attack first… usually. “Just it Ace, I’ve a feeling you know a lot more about creepers than I do.” Airi could feel the ice in her veins, the urge to snarl very nearly overpowering instead she spit out her name, voice quiet now, “Airi.”

He could feel the dislike washing off the whisp of a girl in waves. He reached up, scratching the side of his head and spun an earring in one of his ears, absentmindedly. "Huh. Me? A creeper? Hardly!" He brightened, bouncing forwards to place his hands against the mural's palms, tail wagging. "Well well, gotta sharp tongue on'ya. Thaaaat's okay. I can deal with a cutie with backsass." He winked, one gold eye glittering with amusement as he leaned forwards, getting in her face just a bit, and stuck his tongue out to lick her nose.

Airi continued to stare at him, the suspicious coming off of her more obviously than anything else. She didn’t realize that he thought she disliked him and probably wouldn’t have cared otherwise because he was starting to make her feel irritation. She wasn’t too sure why she had come over to him besides that sometimes it was boring to be alone. Sure, she lived in the Ruins with others but only one of them could actually be considered close to her. “I have sharp claws too Ace.” A sharp breath was the only noise she made before starting to let out a loud hiss, “Back off or I’ll show you how sharp they are.” He was getting too close to her and soon she’d attack even though her body was still aching from her last beating.

Sassy grinned at her, a little fang showing as his face brightened. He quickly pulled back, sad that he didn't get to taste her nose -- he wondered what she tasted like! it made him curious -- hands raising in defence. "Hey-hey-hey. It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt ya, darling." He smiled, eyes closing in mirth -- seemingly oblivious on the outside, though he could smell her irritation. It was spicy and not at all welcoming. He turned back to his cans and picked a black color, working on hair -- hair that looked surprisingly like Airi's hair: medium length with ringlets and straight-across bangs. Sure, she was a knockout like Gwin was, but hey, with a little work (and maybe a bit of color to her clothing style!) she could be a pretty thing... "Don't hafta be sassy, girl." He sniffed the air, seeing her bandaged legs. "Get run over by a tractor?"

Her tail had puffed up in a lot of rage, she was soon going to kill this male if he didn’t learn what personal space meant and manners would not do him any harm. “I know you’re not going to –try- to hurt me.” Airi could tell that he obviously didn’t care about her anger or discomfort; he was actually amused by all of this. Either this male was completely demented or heartless. When he commented on what she looked like it took all her will-power not to scratch him then. “I didn’t get hit by a tractor, I was mistaken in giving kindness to a child. I defended him and he ran off and decided he didn’t want protected anyway.” She paused, remembering the pain in her legs and the nastiness of the fight, “it was interrupted by the male’s lover.. I decided to walk away and he attacked my legs when I wasn’t looking.” She let a soft pout form on her face for a moment before her expression stiffened. “Not that it matters.”

He shrugged and turned away, still smiling. "That's what I said. I'm not going to hurt you." He flashed her a bold grin and began to spray the long legs of the woman on the side of the building, ears focused on her, eyes locked on his beautiful art piece. Even if she didn't think it was art -he- liked it. He listened as she spoke of the fight in which she was injured. Not a tractor after all.. Hn. Interrrreeeeesting! His tail wagging jovially, he turned back to her, hands on his hips. "So lemme get this straight, chicadee... You protected a kid who really didn't giv'a damn and you got your a** kicked? Couldn't be because'a that temper of yours, no?" He tilted his head to the side, eyeballing her. "Maybe you could've helped it if you'd shown a little...nowait, you said they were gay. Neeeeeevermind."

She raised an eyebrow in absolute disbelief, the b*****d thought she had lost control of the situation? Ha. She had known full-well that she was going to get her tail kicked for going against the male, but her true injuries hadn’t come from the one she challenged, but from the lover. Making a tsking noise of irritation she repeated herself, more slowly and with a bit more growl to her voice, “I.Was.Actually.Injured.By.One.I.Didn’t.Challenge. I knew full well I would lose the fight with the first male, but he challenged me by giving me one free shot. I broke his ******** nose.” She was getting more heated with the memories of it, not because she was upset with Sassy, but because she was pissed that someone would attack her with her back turned. Did people have no chivalry anymore? No honor code? Obviously not, look at where she had come from. “Oh? So that’s how it is in your life? Get caught up in something you shouldn’t and you flash your d**k?” A slight blush from her vulgar language, Airi knew she’d blame it on temper.

"Oh..." He nodded, placing his hands on his hips, ears pinned back at her growling tone. Jeez, since when did a guy get his a** reamed for making a few opinions? He resisted the urge to roll his golden eyes, knowing that her anger would notch up a few more pegs. Trying to make the situation a little better, he dropped his hunched shoulders and tried focusing on a more...calm aura to surround her freaking-out-a**. "So. You challenged the first guy, got a free shot, broke his nose," he paused, and added. "Congrats on that. Must've had a good fist on'ya" -- "And then his lover sprang from the blue and cut you up. Ouch..." He winced at her harsh words, ears flattening again and his hands raising defensively. "Hey-hey-hey... I was -joking-...although, if it worked...maybe?" Another grin. "KIDDING!"

She took a similar stance as him, hands on her hips and ears pinned back. She looked like she was going to start spraying fire out of her mouth as she spoke. Her hips were still thrust out, skirt bunched up and riding up just a little bit. “It felt good to break his nose, I hope that he doesn’t get it set properly and that he stays ugly.” Reminiscing a bit about before the fight, “He eyed me up like a piece of meat, was sitting shirtless just to admire himself, and pulled his weapon on me when I had nothing on me. Yeah.. I loved breaking his nose, I was about to kick him where it really counted when his “lil woman” broke us up.” Her eyes had become more distant during her speech, Airi didn’t talk a lot, never to strangers and never about things that made her weak so her expression was faded, ghostly as was the most common adjective used with her expressions, “I’m sure you are.” Dry and not amused, sure that he’d show his d**k to her for a dollar.

Sassy had already noted the bunched up skirt, but -cleverly- decided not to bring it up, knowing he'd only infuriate her further. He took a deep, cleansing breath and offered a what-he-hoped-was-an-understanding frown. "Well with any luck, he might have a lumpy nose for good... They sound like bad eggs, if you ask me. I mean, a temper's one thing, but attacking a girl and a child? That's sick." He shrugged and began putting paint cans in his oversized duffle bag, hoisting it up on a shoulder. He needed to restock before he painted anything else. "No, really. I was kidding." Okay, maybe for five bucks...wait no. No. He giggled. "See look, these're my kidding eyes.'" He quickly gave her a puppy dog face, then smiled, head tipped to the side. "Wanna...join me for coffee or something, miss Airi?" And look, he was never great at names, but he remembered hers. Wasn't he just a charmer.

Airi looked about left and right as she made the decision whether or not she was going to go with him to go and have some coffee. Eventually she decided that she might as well because it made no sense for her not to. Something was wrong though… Her key! Of course, where had she put it? Looking down at the ground she saw the scrap of silver and bent over, only letting out a small groan from the pain in her ribs before she slowly straightened back up. “Okay, I’ll go.. but no coffee.. A hot chocolate that’s your treat.. of course.” Airi enjoyed being just a bit bossy, but not too much. She had no desire to be a true b***h… They never had any real friends to speak of. Wait… what was wrong with her? Since when did she have desire to make real friends?

Sassy docked his ears at her groan of obvious pain, or at least discomfort -- from the fight, perhaps? -- but he didn't feel he could help her in any way. Not that she wouldn't snap at him for trying, buuuuut.. He put on a smile at her acceptance, bunching one shoulder up and nodding. "Hot cocoa it is, then! C'mon, I'll take you to my favorite coffeeshop." His hips swayed as he began to prance off, expecting her to follow him, tail wagging. Perhaps because he felt he was making headway with the icy girl. Why did it matter, she was just one cutie in a million, right? He shrugged to himself and found the place quickly, a little hole-in-the-wall shop that was run by their kind, kind of off to the side. The bells on the door gave a jingle and he held it open for Airi, flashing her a winning smile.
