Aislynne was not doing that well. She was removed from her own, lost her hero and mate, and was now traveling alone with a -very- young female pup. Ashei was barely old enough to be walking about with her.

Though curious and questioning, her heart had hardened slightly, and she managed to pick off enough prey to fend for herself and her pup for a while. It was getting rough, though, her muscles were getting a bit weaker and her once bright eyes were starting to fade with a bit of exhaustion. Her once soft, gentle white paws had a layer of fresh dirt and a bit of blood caked onto them. She didn't have time to bathe and make herself presentable anymore.

There was no need to do it anymore, either. What sort of male would want to take a mate of someone who was already used for a breeding and rejected?

Her head hung low, eyes remaining on the small pup that was nothing but innocent, bouncing around and pouncing on rather large weeds with little growls.

Her nose pressed to the other's ear when she paused for a moment, "You are an adorable princess, Ashei."

The tiny wolf gave a bark up to her mother in response, butt wagging lightly as she tried to wag her tail. She was amused in her game and her lack of ability to grasp knowledge of the world.

She was young, yet. And did not know that their future would not be filled with butterflies and rainbows.
