I have never heard of Silent Hill but I also never have any money to buy games. Sounds interesting though I have a couple of songs from video games on my i pod.

One of my favorite Movies is the Tenth Kingdom. It was originally a TV series so it is quite long. Its about a girl who goes to another world and meets all sorts of characters who relate to fairytales. Trust me it is better than it sounds. biggrin Its slightly dark and very funny. I have always liked fantasy while not always giving the kid version of the tale.

Silent Hill is a survival-horror genre game. It takes place in a town called Silent Hill. Silent Hill was once a coal mining town long ago. The coal mine caught on fire, and this fire has burned ever since, drenching the town in the ashes the burning coal produced. Many miners died in this fire- yet the horror only begins there.

Many years down the road, an ancient, indigeneous cult known as the Order attempted to kill a young girl about eight years old- Alessa Gillespie. She was to be the one to birth a "god", and the story revolves around the nightmares she creates for the small town, and surviving them. Yet not all main characters are that knight in shining armor typical of movies and stories. Among the character cast are a murderer, a rapist/wife beater, a criminally insane man, and a girl with a dark history and future.

My personal rating of this game series is 10/10.
