Whats the highest amount of steps / watts you've gotten in a day?

I work at a department store, so when I went to university, then worked for 8 hours. I hit around 34,000 steps. lol
And yes, I want my surfing pikachus. :]

I'm gonna buy like...a metronome or a clock and attach it to it....
10000 steps and you get a Flying Pikachu

Steps? around 14000-15000. Somewhere in that range.
Tricks? Shaking it with your hand works, but you can't do it too fast.
I am so ready for the Yellow Forest, Champ Path, and whatever comes my way! I shall have a flying Pikachu! But at 10000 steps just to get one to appear, it may take a while...Good thing about a surfing Pikachu is it has something to use against Ground and Rock types, giving it a level playing field where types are concerned. Once evolved into a Raichu with the right EVs, it could be a versatile pokemon to have on a team (especially a Mono-Electric).

About 20,000. And I've gotten to 9999 Watts before lol. (a long time without connecting to DS)
I already have one, from my Japanese import of course.
I have 1 flying Pikachu and like 15 surfing ones.
AND it is hard to get a flying Pikachu. Very hard. Even if you encounter it, which you won't know until you bring it back, it has a harder catch rate, or at least it seems.
And guys, you don't need 10,000 steps. Having an advantageous type will shorten it down to 7500.

Also for those who don't know, the event has been extended until May 5th. I guess they don't wanna run it a second time. Also, those who live in Europe also have access to the event.

Hmm I think the highest amount of steps Ive gotten to was 28000 or so and the highest amount of whats was about 1200. So far I have up to volcano path unlocked as well as beyond the sea and nights sky edge.
