I've been playing Pokemon Heart Gold recently for the DS and it is pretty fun! A nice throw back to the old Pokemon Gold which I remember playing on my Gameboy Color.
Heart Gold of course has added a bunch of new features and things from the latest games Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum; however I find myself annoyed with the whole IV, EV, and personality thing just because I don't very much care for it. I'm not going to spend my time breeding the perfect IV and personality then EV train it. Didn't for Diamond, won't for this.
Otherwise the improved graphics, added features like Safari Zone and Battle Tower (to name a few), are very nice.
Pretty good game none the less!
I plan to nickname every single pokemon I catch. So if you want to claim a pokemon go ahead.

Anyway, I'm definitely enjoying Heart Gold. My current party is:
Firaga(Typhlosion)
Pidgeot
Fearsiphon(Red Gyarados)
Arcanine
Ampharos
Sandshrew, my HM whore.
And I'm in Kanto.

Fear that which you dont understand.....
Haven't played and probably won't just because I'm not a big pokemon fan. I think I played all the way through Yellow and Silver and then got tired of it.
Anyway, I want Alakazam xD

Hehe, sorry my Quilava (now evolved) has been taken and so has Alakazam actually.

I got Heart Gold been enjoying it but I wish I had Soul Silver! Damn that short fat b*****d for taking the last one.

@Aizen You wanted SoulSilver?
I've heard some complaints actually in the Video Game Forums about how EVERYONE has SoulSilver. So I'm quite glad I have HeartGold! Though... technically I own SoulSilver as well.

I'll take Houndoom.
Right now I'm just training my Pokemon. I may have beaten the Elite Four, but that was because I had a Lv 80 Garchomp to back up my team when things got hairy. Which, they inevitably did. So I'm just training them so my team can beat th League without help. It shouldn't take too long. If I can get that strong soon, I can use them to train to beat Red. Him and his 88 Pikachu...

Finally someone who also has HeartGold I thought I was the only one?
But Arcanine rules love that guy! Houndoom is ok but no one beats my level 100 Arcanine! Let's go people name your top pokemon no legends.
