It was quite the lovely day in the forest, which was rare considering the weather recently. The sun was setting the forest alight with a greenish glow and it almost seemed unreal. Too bad Danae couldn't exactly see any of that, but he could definitely feel the sun on his back, and he was lurking around in shady spots as long as possible, but he knew better then to stay in one place for too long. There were people out there who needed his help, and there were always places to do. He never let his blindness stop him from getting anywhere.
He wasn't heading any specific today however, just wherever his hooves led him. He had no idea he'd have an encounter with someone very special today, and in dire need of his help.

Long were the days and nights lonely. A lot had happened, and for some reason she was standing now at the ends of the heaven. For the first time looking down at the Earth. She never had any need to look or even go to the Earth. She was born and raised in the heavens. But over time things changed... She looked back into the heavens. The elder had told her she needed to go, and disobeying an elder was not an options.
Leaning forward, the Earths gravity pulled at her, and yanked her off the clouds, hurling her down so it's surface. She expanded her wings, but she had never flown in the atmosphere before, and it was almost to much for her to handle. She slowed her pace, and got a little direction going, but it wasn't long until she fly right into the tree line.
Her body smacking against branches, and a sharp sudden pain in one of her wings. She tumbled out into a small clearing, where only she could really fit laying there on her side. Her ghostly blue glowing eyes looked around... All she saw was bushes, and she heard the trickle of water.
Such was her fate. She had broken one of her wings.

Everything was going smoothly, just like any other day in the early spring. Then, suddenly the seemed to be a loud crash, like something huge had just fallen from the sky. Danae was instantly alert for any danger, he spiked tail flicked out, and despite the fact he couldn't see, he head turned toward the direction of the crash. Even if he was blind, he was still quite the intimidating fellow. Too bad there wasn't any real threat. instead, he could tell there was someone in need of his help.
He stepped carefully into the small clearing, and looked down, he could tell there was someone there, some drastically damaged inside and out. "Miss?" He guessed she was a female, and he rarely guessed wrong, it was a trait he figured he must have gotten from his mother. "Could you tell me where you're hurt? It would be very helpful to you if you were as detailed as possible." He knew where he'd need to go to get certain herbs that could help her with any cuts or anything broken.
"And please don't worry, I only look scary." He gave her a small smile. "My names Danae and well, I'm here to help you get back on your feet."

Calamity laid there. The pain hurt a lot... So much so that she didn't feel like moving, speaking... She closed her eyes. But it was then that she heard someone near by. 'Great' she thought. 'I'm going to get eaten...' But then the stallions voice spoke words of help. She didn't want to look. She just wanted to lay there and rest...
"One of my wings..." She told him. "It's against the ground... It's broken.." She didn't want to see it. She kept picturing part of her wing severed off. She was a little bit battered but she was use to that kind of stuff.
"If you get to close you might get hurt." She warned him, in an unasmused sultry voice. "I'll understand if you want to leave." She felt so alone, and pitiful. She felt it for herself. Like she had given up on herself. Maybe this was heavens way of telling her, she was kicked out for having to much bad luck.

This was a first for Danae for sure, he couldn't believe anyone would turn down help, unless they thought he might hurt them, but usually they took one look at him and dismissed him as a softie. Still, he wasn't about to leave her alone, which he could now confirm by her voice. He considered her attempt to push him away pretty pathetic honestly. He could tell she needed the help, and just didn't want him to be around at all.
"Hey, don't worry about me." He moved closer and bent down and gave her a bit of a nudge, trying to push her off of her broken wing. "If you don't get off it, it'll only get worse. And then, how sad would you be if you'd never fly again? Obviously not very happy..." He gave her another push, and really kept pushing now.
"I could use some help. I know it's painful, but it's a small step to making things feel better."

With a bit of a lethargic sigh, she followed his pushed, finally bringing her eyes to look at him. her eyes rolled, the worlds issues were caused by her, just her existence caused suffering to others...
Oh did it ache... pain slithered its way through her spine, her eyes welling up in tears. She wanted to scream a blood curdling scream... But now she was on her hooves. The warm blood dripping along the wing. She closed her eyes again.
She knew he could help. Unicorns were right up there with the Angeni to be honest. She turned her body so that her wing could be near him. It really didn't long for her pick up that he was blind, but even so, she had to give him props for his other senses.

"You're doing great." Danae encouraged her, and before he knew it, she was actually standing on her hooves. Sure, she was a bit wobbly, but it was a tremendous step in actually healing her. She stretched out her broken wing and without being able to see it at all, he could tell just his natural healing ability as a unicorn wouldn't exactly be enough to heal the wing completely. He wasn't exactly a full unicorn either, he only inherited that from his father, his mother had actually been considered a mutant. Though, she hardly acted like one.
"Um, well, I'm not exactly a full unicorn, so though I can heal this, I'm going to have to insist we mix it with a more natural cure. Now, I know were to find what I need. What I need from you, is to stay put. You can lay down if you want, but definitely be careful about your wing...kay? Promise I'll be back." He gave her a little confident nuzzle and then trotted off to collect the herbs he'd need and something to hold the wing still for a while. Wing injuries were always the worst ones to heal, and took the longest time. He just hoped she wouldn't move.

Calamity looked over at him, as he walked away. This was her chance to take off. But her wing ached... She wanted to fly again. Though it served her right. Actually, he probably wouldn't even come back... So why was she still standing there? As he got farther away, things got quiet. She wasn't expecting the Earth to be so... Quiet.
She stood there, really not wanting to move because her hurt so much. Her legs locked, and she started to feel a bit weak. But so far, she's met a really nice stallion. He was a little strange looking, but he was nice. Maybe this place had more going for it then she thought. Though she wasn't to sure if she believed she'd find her answers here. On how to get rid of that black looming cloud.
She exhaled, he hadn't come back yet... It had to have been a while right? Well maybe not... She looked at the sun. Time here was a little different then in the heavens.

Danae was quick to work, finding all the herbs he'd need and some things to hold the wings in place for a few days. It wouldn't take long to heal, but he wasn't exactly sure how long it would take for her to actually feel better, It was obvious to him, that she had been through a lot in her life. She probably didn't realize just how much healing she needed, but he always focused on the more serious injuries first. Then, it took a lot of time to fix those other things....
It wasn't long before he started making his way back toward where he'd left the broken Angeni, and he was very relieved to see that she hadn't left. That was probably more because of her pain then anything though. He gave her an encouraging smile and instantly went to work. All along the way he carefully explained everything he was doing, even what he could of his natural healing powers. Though, that tended to be a little hard to understand if you weren't a Unicorn yourself. Once he was done, he took a step back and smiled to her again.
"You were very brave miss. I know this must have hurt a lot, but in a few days you can take all that off and be as good as new!" He gave her a small bow, and then waited for her response. He didn't really want to leave her, she still had a lot of healing to do....

Calamity nodding as he talked. Trying to understand what was going on, and what he was talking about. She understand 'magic' in a way, because she herself, had it. Her domain of the Rings of Saturn, so she could cause quite the damage, if she wanted. And how she was somehow plagued by this bad luck. Wincing when he tugged some, and then he was done. It was sore, but it didn't 'hurt' like it had before. She looked back at her wings. Looks like she'd be grounded for some time. She had no idea how to survive on Earth.
She looked back to the stallion, swallowing hard. "Thank you." She spoke lightly, and almost hoarsely. She hooved the ground a little watching him carefully. She'd follow him until she felt more confident. Not that she bothered to tell him that.

Danae was a little lost about what to say now. He was always get when it came to giving medical attention and all, but afterwords it could sometimes get a little uneasy. He used used to most Soquili asking him thousands of questions about their condition, and sometimes even questioning him about his personal life. However, in this case she was quiet and seemed reluctant to budge.
He tilted his head a bit, curious about her condition now that her wing was healing. "Do you mind telling me your name?" He smiled, and tried not to seem creepy. Though, generally he was always considered creepy. He was half mutant after all, and that tended to make some people nervous, even if the Unicorn part sorta balanced it out. "Oh, and, um, you're free to stick around as long as you have to. Especially with your wing like that, it might be nice to have someone around that could take care of it..." He wasn't one to request company often. Though, he did tend to get lonely traveling around on his own all the time. But his mother had warned him about the dangers of traveling on his own, and he had agreed it would be worth it if he could just help others.

Calamity listened to him. She didn't react either way. When he asked for her name, she wondered if that would be a good idea or not. Not wanting to get to close... Keep things all business. But it might make it hard trying to get the others attention without it...
"Calamity." She spoke straight out, again hoarsely from her lack of speaking. But now that he was inviting her to follow him, it might not end as weird. She was pretty oblivious to some things like that. Why did she have to leave the heavens...
"Name?" She repeated to him. If she told him hers, then it was only proper for him to tell her, his.

Danae was a little surprised by just how little emotion the mare showed. He had never met anyone before that was so...he hated to use the word dull. Because she was interesting in her own way. He just hoped she'd be able to perk up a bit. The best thing for her wounds would be an optimistic outlook on them. And she seems to be wounded in more then just the literal sense.
He found her name a bit odd, but obviously he wasn't going to tell her that. Besides, it was kind of unique and explained a little bit about her. He couldn't help but laugh just a bit when she asked him for hers. Obviously she hadn't been paying to much attention to the first couple of words that he had spoken to her. Although, her certainly could understand that. She was in an awful lot of stress.
"My name is Danae." He nodded, trying to cover up for his little laughing fit before.

She looked at him, her bright eyes wandering why he was giggling. But that curiosity left her mind quickly when she caught his name. For her, the name held no other meaning then just that, something to call him by. She didn't quite understand him, or any other horse. Because it wasn't that she was emotionless, it was that she locked them away because getting to close to anyone could hurt them. even by following him some unfortunate event would befall the stallion that helped her.
The thought was eating her on the inside. It was one event after another, and it killed any joy that she ever had. She never had friends, and didn't interact with other horses all that often as she got older. This caused her to be socially astranged.
The stallion had been genuinely worried about her. And she was trying to show her appreciation but probably wasn't showing.
"From here?" She wanted to know if he lived in this area. He was blind, and that being the case... How did he get around so well.

"From here, well I do have a little area not far off where I tend to make frequent stops. But, for the most part I wander." Danae nodded as he made his way though the forest, expertly dodging the trees despite his lost eyesight. Some days he missed not being able to see, but he had been this way for quite some time now, so he had adjusted well enough to the darkness. It didn't bug him nearly as much as it used to, and he could still help just about anyone who asked for it. As long as they were willing to cooperate with him.
He was curious about her past now, wondering why she seemed to be so out of the norm. "Do you mind if I ask you how you came to fall in the first place?" A little nudge in the right direction, he certainly didn't want to push her over the edge or anything, he just wanted to help heal her as best as possible. And healing wasn't always about the physical wounds.
