The sun was finally set, the stars were starting to make their appearance in the sky. He glanced at his cubs checking to see if they were sleeping yet or not, he wasn't really that sure, he hoped they were. He leaned over and nudged one of them waiting to see if he got a response, when he heard a little grunt and then no movement, he knew that they were sleeping. He was glad to know he could go on his little adventures that he liked to take during the night.
A smile grew on his lips as he started wander out of the den that he had picked for the next few days he knew they were going to be safe there and that was all that mattered to him. He smiled as he started to trot away for a little bit. He wasn't going to trot that far away though. He looked back before wandering toward the watering hole not that far away. He looked up at the sky watching the stars before glancing at the water.
Now if only he had some company...
He never really got along with that many males so their company wasn't the best, he could put up with them if he had to however he knew for a fact that he got along with females a lot better, beside you could flirt with females, that always made him happy. He chuckled slightly before starting to wander toward the wandering hole leaning ove and lapping up some water.

Once again Menuha had sneaked away from her small pride in the middle of the night. Being on her own for such a long time made it hard to get used to life in a group again. So when all the commotion became too much for her she would take off for a day or two, until she was ready to go back. Lately she had begun to undertake such trips less often, which was a good sign. She was adapting.
However, this night was for herself and she intended to have fun. When she set off, she had no definite idea what exactly this 'fun' would be. But then she saw the male at the watering hole it became clear. She almost missed him in the dark with his black coat, but the sound of splashing water alerted her to his presence.
She approached him without bothering quiet or sneaky, so she wouldn't startle him. "Good evening, stranger." She greeted once she was within earshot.

Nazar sat near the water he was pretty content for the moment he still wished for company. He was surprised by how little time he could run into other lions when he was by himself. Of course he ran into many when it came down to him wanting to hunt, or for that matter when he was trying to take his daughters some where, he saw many lions when he was doing things such as that. But when it came down to him being by himself he couldn't find anyone to keep him company...
Or so he thought.
The sound of another caught his attention. He couldn't help but to turn around and look over at the female coming his way. A smile grew on his face, this female just proved his ideas wrong. he was goingt o have some company today and the idea made Nazar very happy. "Hello there Ma'am." He called back out to her before standing up and giving her a small bow, he was quiet a gentleman at times. "What brings you to this area?" He asked curiously. He then chuckled before nodding toward her. "My name is Nazar, it is very nice to meet you. If you don't mind me asking your name."
