BEGIN OPEN SPECULATION.
Life Crystal. Celebi would be the mascot, I bet, because Suicune's role from Crystal already is redone in the GS remakes. Perhaps it would be the first game to have 2 mascots.
What it would take to get me to buy this game: Secret bases. Online. With a region added that doesn't exactly have to be Hoenn.
That is to say. I don't buy 1.5 games.

I don't know if they'll make a third installment to this one, because they didn't for FireRed and LeafGreen, which was the biggest "third" game of all, Yellow. Suicune has a big role in HGSS, so I don't see what else they could do for a Life Crystal.

Fire, Water and Grass also has a similar relation, but we didn't get any Ocean Blue back on Fire Red and Leaf Green. That isn't to say they won't produce a third, it's just the most probable outcome, given the history. EDIT: Or Lightning Yellow for that matter...

I'm not quite sure I understand your reasoning, though. I already knew that Red and Green were the original first generation in Japan, but I don't see how that relates to whether or not there is a third installment. confused

i was one to say it will happen, but only if i buy one of the first two, at this point, i want to get one of the first two cause i don't see what more they could add. secret bases would be nice again, since you could get EXP from them. i kinda wish the underground had an online version, like make a group of you and some friends. other than that, i think they got it covered this time. thinking about it, any new features would have to be in a whole new installment of games.
