"We are all connected because we are all part of the universe. We are all in the universe and the universe is within all of us, all we have to do is feel it there."

The one that followed it... "Breaking the cycle of samsara is irrelevant, yet fully relevant. If we can conclude that the universe is within us and the universe contains everything, then samsara is also within us, putting us outside of it already. But we are also within it, and we are it. We are impermanence, birth, life, death, and rebirth."
The one following that... "Samsara is demonstrated with a circle holding 12 links. If you put a chain in a circle and break a link, it all falls apart. No more circle. No more cycle. We are samsara, therefore breaking the self breaks samsara. If practice one form of the Eightfold Path makes us practice all of them, then by that logic we can break all the links of the cycle of samsara by breaking just one. All is one and one is all."

Been finding gems like this outside Buddhism lately.
My favourite right now is a WWII British poster that never got released: Keep Calm and Carry On.

I wish I could remember the name of the Kabbalist that said it but "Love thy neighbor. The rest is just commentary", in response to the question "What is the meaning of life?"

Reminds me of a quote from one of my Holy Texts. I'm sure there's a different meaning but it came to mind after reading the OP. Gospel of Thomas (3) Jesus said, "If those who lead you say to you, 'See, the kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living father. But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty."

Thank you for sharing this with us!

I was so afraid to post this because I know how "pushy" my more traditional brethren can be and I was afraid that me posting that quote, (albeit a heretical one), would picture me as such.

I can assure you, even if you were to come in here and start trying to convert me into a Christian, I would not flame you or say anything to harm you emotionally, I would simply ask you to stop. I am big into non-violence and I would not even want to say harmful words to somebody. This may be a guild by Buddhists, but all religions are welcome here. Buddhism has a lot of focus on unity, so to shun other religions would be very contradictory and personally blasphemous. You will find no aggression here, only generosity and compassion. *bows*

Pigeon is right, rm. I'm in charge by default around here, and so long as everyone plays nice, everyone's more than welcome. I've never seen a point in shutting out alternate views. It does none of us any good. 3nodding
On top of which, it's a useful reminder that we can find the dharma anywhere if we just open our eyes and look. So thanks.

Thank you.
While different wording that's pretty similar to my views as well Byaggha and why you'll see me all over the place if you get what I mean.
I didn't know how things worked around here but I guess I'll learn as I go along won't I, lol. I guess I'm just used to conflict due to mis-communication or misunderstanding in other guilds that this is just a bit of a surprise to me.

Here's one I've found, but I don't think I've ever seen it credited to a specific person:
"The water a cow laps turns into milk. The water a snake licks changes into poison. What do things you touch turn into?"
