Private RP between myself and Larowan. No posting please.   "Dreeeeeyyyy! Come onnnnn!" The filly squealed, dancing on her hooves and flicking her brown tipped mane impatiently. Dreyden was gonna show her some tricks finally. Or so he'd said when they'd both been able to escape her father's protective gaze. But all the scarlet winged stallion had done was lead her about in the grasslands surrounding the forest, saying that 'it wasn't the right spot'. She was getting antsy.
"Is this the right spot yet?" Priya demanded, glancing quickly around at the grass around them before looking back to him hopefully.Dreyden smirked, shrugging his shoulders vaguely before turning to study the area. It had to be right. He'd be skinned alive if anything happened to Priya because she faltered when he was teaching her tricks that could break her neck. The stallion twitched, imagining the whole herd after him...there wasn't anywhere he could escape to if that happened. "I guess it'll do." He said after a moment, nodding and turning back to her."Alright!" She cheered, practically bouncing around the male, gleeful. Dreyden couldn't help but grin back, her mood infectious.
"Calm down or you're gonna hurt yourself. Then there'd be no tricks for ya at all." He said with a snort, rolling his eyes before snickering at how quickly the filly settled down. "Alright now. We're gonna try somethin' simple.....Ya done loops?" "Yup!"He eyed her with a raised brow and she giggled. "That's simple stuff. Dad lets me do those when we fly at the lake.""Well then. You're promoted straight to second stage, since we don't want ya gettin' bored with 'simple stuff'." Drey said with a laugh. "Now, into the air. Catch me and I'll show ya a barrel dive!" He'd hardly gotten the words out before he bolted away, belts jangling loudly as he gained speed. "Hey!" Priya squeaked, scrambling after him quickly, nipping at his tail when she was near enough. "Come back here you!"The two laughed as they launched into the air, two pairs of wings spreading wide to catch any current of air they could. They gained altitude, circling each other before beginning a rather mad looking dance as the filly tried to catch her older companion.

Ziya had been wandering that day. She knew she should be looking harder for winged Soquili but she was enjoying just talking to her feathered companion.
"What is mom thinking? She acts all strict but I knows the truth Jax. She really just wants to be like dad, carefree and having fun all the time. Why can't she see I want to be free too? How could she try to force this on me?" Letting out a sigh she lowered her eyes from the bright sun as it shone down on her from the clearing."You know she just wants to protect you. If you work for the two-leggers she can keep you safe near her." The little crow hopped along the young mare's back his head swinging back and forth, keeping watch for any danger around."I dun wanna be safe though. I want to go on great adventures and adventures aren't safe! Plus I fit in better with them trolls not no two-leggers.""Theres nothing wrong with being safe... Trolls are nice but you can play with them and be safe at home with your family." Jaxith did not like the idea of dangerous adventures, he shuttered at the thought of all this traveling Ziya was so keen on. His little eyes caught onto something in the sky "Whats that!" He cawed loudly.Ziya looked around "What you see Jax?""Up there in the sky! Is it a monster?"Ziya ran out into the middle of the clearing, her head tilted back as she stared intently into the sky. "Its winged Soquili Jax! We gotta talk to them!"

The two were now circling, enjoying the warmth of the sun on their backs and the warm currents of air to glide on. But Priya was watching her violet haired companion closely, plotting with a girlish glee. Slowly, she circled higher, eyes narrowing against the wind. Priya flapped her wings a few more times before folding them, diving at Drey to catch him by surprise. And surprise it was, for the stallion gave a yelp as she darted past him, nipping his rump as she passed with a gleeful laugh. "Gotcha!" She crowed, spreading her wings to turn her dive into a glide, circling back upwards to a very disgruntled stallion. "Now you have to show me that barrel dive." The mare declared, eyes gleaming in anticipation.
Dreyden gave a short huff and eyed the mare gliding alongside him before snorting. "Fine. But ya only get ta try this when I'm around. Got it? I don' want ya gettin' hurt trying it on yer own. Or gettin' in trouble doing it when yer da or Uncle's around." He replied, fixing her with a serious look. 'They'd also kill me.' He added to himself, wincing just a bit. She huffed and flattened her ears, opening her mouth to tell him that she wouldn't, but went silent as he glared knowlingly at her. "I mean it Pri. You could get really hurt."
She rolled her eyes, but relented, understanding that the possibility of getting hurt, or worse, caught was a serious matter. "Alright. Fine. Now can you show me?" The jewel toned mare asked, ears perked forwards.
He barked out a laugh, tossing his head. "You're impossible." Drey chuckled before huffing out a breath. "I'm gonna show ya how and ya gotta watch me close....But from the ground. I don' want ya trying this without watchin' me a few times. We'll rest then maybe we can try later."
Priya gave a whine, ears flattening again. "But Drey..." "No. No arguin'. You'll get to try tricks out. But you'll do it my way, or not at all and I tell yer da. Yeah?" There was a few moments of nearly sullen silence before she sighed. "Fine. Meet you on the ground." She folded her wings slightly and started her descent, quickly circling lower. Her wings flapped furiously, breaking her momentum. She hovered over the grass, which whipped wildly before dropping down with a huff, wings stretching before folding neatly along her back. She hadn't noticed other mare yet, her focus fixed intently on the circling form above her.
Dreyden drifted while Priya few down, making sure she landed. He also noticed another Soquili had entered the clearing, but he only shrugged and grinned to himself. He loved audiences.
Drifting for a few moments more, he took a breath before he flapped his wings once, twice then folded them and plunged towards the ground at what must have been a terrifying speed to witness. At a distance from the ground that didn't seem quite safe, one wing suddenly flicked out in a maneuver that could easily maim the delicate appendage if done wrong, especially at such a speed. But instead of ravaging the scarlet appendage, the drafts caught it and threw him into a barrel roll, sending him spinning sideways with a crazy whoop. Dreyden let himself tumble before he folded and tilted the wing slightly to stop his spinning and skid slightly sideways, but did nothing for his downward plunge. At the last possible moment, both wings stretched out and the stallion gave a triumphant whoop as they caught an updraft that snapped him away from the ground and back into the sky, his hooves just barely grazing the high grasses of the field. He let himself be pulled upwards for a few moments before starting his descent, knowing that Priya was probly dancing on her hooves to ask questions....Which she was, fairly bouncing where she stood.

Jaxith shuttered, his small body shaking, his feathers twitching along his body. "Zi please," he whimpered, "lets be careful! You don't know these Soquili, they might be dangerous. You don't know."
Ziya shrugged her shoulders, shaking the little bird back away from her neck. "It's fine. They look friendly and look..." She watched the mare spiraling down above her. "I think that stallion is teaching that mare. I bet he'll know something about how we can get you flying."
"I don't think so! He's falling! Look out!" Jaxith cawed in distress as the stallion fell sharply towards the ground. He hopped back up along Ziya's back, nestling himself into her hair. "Oh I can't watch!"
Ziya couldn't take her eyes off the stallion. "Wooooowwwww." She gasped as the stallion skimmed the grass and was swept up again by the updraft. "Amazing." Staring with awe at him she took a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. With a blink she turned her vision back towards the other mare, she started to trot towards her. "Excuse me!" She called across the field.

Priya pranced in place, eyes fixed on the scarlet winged male...who was taking his sweet time in landing. "Drey! Come ooooonnnnn!" She whinnied, stomping her feet and laying her ears back when she caught Dreyden's laughter. "It's not funny. You're doing this on purpose!"
"'Course I am. You're so cute when you're mad." He laughed back, tossing his head and swooping overhead. He banked and flapped his wings a few times as another's voice drifted across the grass to them. Priya's head swivelled sharply towards Ziya, ears perked and eyes wide in surprise. She hadn't know there was someone else here with them.
Dreyden chuckled, landing with a jangle of belts and a scattering of assorted butterflies that has been feeding on the flowers. He trotted up next to Priya and bumped her lightly with his hip. "Ya gotta watch the surroundin's better. The mare's been watchin' us since ya landed." Priya shot him a glare, snorting before watching the strange mare once more, waiting for her to come closer. "Is something the matter?" Priya called back to the mare, flicking her tail behind her. Dreyden kept silent, only tossing his head to clear his wayward bangs from his eyes as he studied Ziya coming closer.

Ziya tried to put on her friendliest face, not wanting to offend these potential teachers. She smiled and whinnied a friendly greeting. "I just was wondering if I could talk to you," She called back to the mare. She approached them quickly, not very good at first meetings and social protocol for these situations. "We saw you two flying and well I've been looking for Soquili with wings, I just had to come and talk to you."
Jax peeked out from between Ziya's long curly locks of hair, his small beady eyes staring up at the two strange Soquili. "Introduce yourself." He whispered to Ziya.
"I'm Ziya," she said as she walked up to the pair. "This is Jax." She nodded to the small bird on her back. "Jax hurt his wing, we got a two-legger healer to set it for him but now that its healin' we don't know how to get him flyi' again."
Jax hopped as he was introduced then skittered back into his hiding place of hair.
"He's pretty weak and I dunno how to help train him back to flyi' again you see. Do you know anything we could do?"
