Everyone has those moments every now and again, you think of something so unbelievably brilliant, that you just have to share it!

idea *screaming "FLAMMING BUTTOCKS!" in a gutteral screamo/rockstar type voice when trying to get people to stop talking.*
It's BRILLIANT I tell you . Simply BRILLIANT.
When you say flamming buttocks, there is no response for it. When you say shut up, people say "no you shut up" or "make me"
There is no response to flamming buttocks because there is nothing to respond to, except possibly breaking into fits of giggles.
Also, it sounds like a swear word, but really isn't! So while people are starting to process it as such, and dealing with whatever mental image you conjured up, you have a brief moment of silence when the person is at a loss for words!

That is quite a brilliant idea. I come up with brilliant ideas (to me) a lot... but I can't think of one right now. <_>

Since I heard that first sentances are the most important part of a book, I decided to keep a journal of what I think are awesome first sentances.
This (I believe) will: 1) Help me be creative when I don't feel like getting word count in 2) Give me something to do when I'm not at home, since it is in a journal 3) Give me ideas for stories, since some of them are just for fun, and some of them could turn into ideas.

Xilna Kithrin Since I heard that first sentances are the most important part of a book, I decided to keep a journal of what I think are awesome first sentances. I absolutely love that idea! That sounds similar to how the fizzles work, but different. A fizzle is an idea that could be the first sentence of a story, an idea influencing the story, or some other line in the story, but your idea is to have it be the first sentence in a story. Would you like to post a thread in the classroom area for that idea? I think it would be useful to the members going to the classrooms.

I could use ones I know I'm not going to use in my stories as examples.

I usually write out a list of titles I think sound awesome, then whenever I can't figure out a new story idea I'll just look at the titles and form something around it. Not that ingenious, but hey, it works.
