I'll add this to the sticky tonight, this is just so I don't forget:
Old style Little People toys (throw out, choking death):

OTTAWA — Parents and caregivers should immediately sift through their toy boxes and throw out all the old Fisher-Price "Little People" figures because a baby recently choked to death when the iconic toy became lodged in the infant's throat, Health Canada said Thursday.
The older "Little People" figures, which were manufactured before 1991, have a circular base approximately 2 cm (3/4 inch) in diameter, posing a risk of serious injury of death. The figures include a variety of characters, such as a little girl, a train conductor, a dog and a father.
The newer "Little People" figures have a larger circular base, approximately 3 cm in diameter. "These figures are taller, in chunkier shapes and are of sizes that cannot be taken into the throat of a young child. These newer figures are not the subject of this advisory," Health Canada said in a statement.
The government issued the alert because it "recently" became aware of the death of a 10-month-old child resulting from the use of one of these older products.
"This incident has brought attention to the fact that these products are still used in play in Canadian households. Additionally, these products continue to be sold in some second-hand retail establishments, including Internet retailers and resellers. Health Canada strongly encourages parents, grandparents and caregivers who still have possession of any older "Little People" figures to immediately and safely discard of them. The toys should be disposed of in normal household garbage in such a way that they cannot be used or re-sold."
Health Canada was not immediately available to provide more details about the death.
This isn't the first death linked to the older Fisher-Price "Little People" series.
The company launched a public information campaign in 1992, entitled the "Family Alert Program," in response to reports of seven fatalities and one serious injury related to the use of these figures by children under the age of three.
The program provided education to parents and caregivers concerning the risks of continued use of the older "Little People" figures.

Health Canada announced a recall of thousands of Evenflo baby gates on Wednesday after the baby-product manufacturer reported that several children had been injured when the gates failed.
Approximately 33,000 of the Evenflo Top-of-Stair Plus Wood Gates were sold in Canada between October 2007 and March 2010.
Evenflo received 142 reports of slats breaking or detaching from the gate. Some children were injured, but none more seriously than some bumps and bruises.
The recall involves Evenflo models 10502 and 10512 Top-of-Stair Plus Wood Gates.
No other Evenflo model numbers or gates are affected by the recall, and consumers will get a replacement product.
This is the third warning by Health Canada in the past two days -- older Fisher-Price toys also on Thursday and Infantino SlingRider and Wendy Bellissimo infant slings on Wednesday.
