"He should be here any moment."

Cassius James, or rather, the newly corrupted Lieutenant Scorzalite, had received a notice from the orange-haired Captain earlier that day, requesting his presence in the park that evening.

Torbernite had been slightly more difficult to locate, but Ursula had managed to find the wandering teenager and plant him down alongside her on the terribly uncomfortable park bench with time to spare. He hadn't argued. In fact, he hadn't said very much at all, which made for quite the boring wait.

Turning towards him, she decided it was time to strike up some conversation. "Did you have any que- Torbernite. If you so much as try to steal my mirror, I will put an end to you right here."

Torbernite, who could still recall the feel of the hand-held mirror against the side of his face, wisely chose to say nothing in response, averting his gaze away from the shiny accessory he'd been gawking at. Instead, he ever so slowly began to inch further away from the taller woman, nearly slipping off the edge of the bench entirely.

It had taken him exactly three days, two hours, and twenty-six minutes from the last meeting for the somewhat newly appointed captain to realise that the captain in charge of the operation was also (occasionally) none other than the Queen, and was (mostly-occasionally) none other than the very same Negaverse agent he once stole ah, an artifact from. He had been wondering why she had been giving him a rather sordid expression since.

And thus, when, she had actually, surprisingly, requested his presence again, he was on his best behaviour. No talking unless requested, no fidgeting and absolutely no sticky fingers. None. Nu-uh.

It wasn't until Nealite mentioned the words 'stealing' and 'mirror' that he tore his gaze away from the aforementioned "shiny", suddenly developing an awful lot of interest in the piece of shrubbery to his right. How long was 'any moment' going to be? Considering that the post office often told him him his mail was going to arrive 'any moment', and still took three months post-sender dropoff, he was apparently going to wait here a long long time. Best make himself comfortable.

Now a decently-sized gap away from the other captian's reach, he crossed his arms, slouching against the bench, practically sliding off it: the two captians juxtaposed looked more like an older sibling taking her delinquent brother out for obligatory family lectures.

Cassius tried his best to be on time for this meeting, and when the entrance to the park appeared he let out a large sigh of relief. It would have been very unprofessional to be late and he was usually known to have that problem in general. So far he hadn't screwed up too badly for these new people.. as of yet.

The dim lighting led him along a boring and silent pathway and it felt somewhat never-ending. He was ready for this meeting to begin. Ever since Captain Nealite had contacted him he'd been thinking about what could occur all day. A part of him couldn't believe this was even happening whereas the other part of him was ready to dive in completely. Hopefully this would also be as fun and entertaining as he had hoped.

He wasn't surprised to see the park so empty, so when two figures appeared in the distance he became much more alert and focused. He quickened his pace so he'd arrive at his scheduled meeting faster, since walking towards them was getting sort of awkward.

He stopped when he was in front of the orange haired woman and the younger white haired guy. The whole situation felt strange and Cassius had no idea what to say, which was also odd for him. Was he nervous? How very amateur of him. "This is Scorzalite.. at your service."

She smiled as she noticed to blonde heading their way, one hand moving to idly flip back her long orange hair. Surprisingly (and fortunately, for Scorzalite), Nealite was already quite pleased with the new lieutenant in their midst. When her husband had told her of the newest recruit and the fact it was another male... well, her expectations hadn't been terribly high. The current male population of the Negaverse was lacking, for a better term, with more nuts, fruits and lazyasses than she cared to account for. This boy, however, already looked as though he had potential.

"How formal," she purred, teasing lightly as she uncrossed her legs and moved to stand from the bench. "I like it."

One hand motioned for Torbernite to do the same, and the shorter boy rose from the bench, still silent. "Scorzalite, this would be your new Captain, Torbernite. I expect you to listen to his orders as well as Charonite's and my own. Torbernite, you will be overseeing our new blonde friend here, as well as the two you already have already been assigned."

Her finger wiggled and purple boots began to walk down the pathway marked out for the park, entwining itself among the shadows of the looming trees. "Let's go for a stroll while we talk, boys. First off, Scorz, did you have any questions?"

That's it right, introductions were done?

Though it was by complete fortunate accident that he stood up the same time Ursula motioned for him, his actions were entirely of the when-can-I-get-my-escape-ticket-and-how-fast persuasion. In fact, he almost groaned when he heard that he was condemned to another assignment: apparently Nealite did have it in her to be as avaricious as she could into drilling away his past lieutenant coaching...mishaps. The newer lieutenant easily stood over him: and while Torbernite was not quite intimidated, he was a little perplexed. 'Assignment' always sounded a little too much like more work. While he might have been good at ... well... whatever he was good at, coaching skills were definitely not one of his stronger points.

He briefly freed one hand from his pockets just enough to give the newcomer a small wave and a rather terse smile (probably because it was so late, and he had been stuck with certain authoritative figures for the last hour twiddling his fingers). Letting Nealite fondle over the new recruit - dear lord was she hitting on him? wasn't she married?! - he trailed behind them, rather than side-by-side. His absence of speech was due to both politeness, in Nealite's rhetorical question, and his own lack of anything to contribute due to the situation.

He was relieved that the meeting started off rather chill and comfortable, although at the mention of his new Captain Scorzalite was a bit surprised. Torbernite was most definitely younger then him. He wasn't sure if that made sense. But then again, so far everything was sort of new and different. He couldn't be an a** about it and judge until he knew the facts and saw what this other Captain was made of. So, until then he'd await finding out with a slight eagerness.

If he would have known what Nealite was thinking he would have boasted and agreed with her, and probably assured her even more of his interest. He was here to do business for his new bosses. That's how Cassius understood the world- especially since these bosses were damn powerful. He'd try to do whatever was asked of him since it all sounded appealing anyways. He was also hoping to get stronger along the way, but until then he was most definitely 'that new recruit'. At least he wasn't a worthless recruit. And besides, this was all just a chance to show everyone else his skills. He had no problems doing that.

When Torbernite waved, he waved back and followed Nealite as they rose and started walking. At her own question, Scorzalite pondered for a slight second. "Just a few. Who else does Torbernite command? I am interested in finding them and introducing myself." He needed to learn their strengths, weaknesses and everything in between. Plus how could he not be curious? "Also, is there anything you need me to do?" He glanced at Nealite first and then Torbernite, respectively. "What can I say- I'm ready to get to work." A suave smile followed after his comment.

He was on his best behavior since he was sort of excited for it all. He also knew there'd be plenty of time to misbehave once he started getting assignments and running into enemies. He also knew his place at the moment. He'd been at the bottom before and made his way upwards many times in his life. Now was just another opportunity for that sort of thing and he was willing to give it all a shot. "I look forward to working with you both."

Her grin was unmistakable - apparently this Lieutenant knew all the right things to say at all the right times.

"All in due time, dear, all in due time," One arm moved back to jerk the shorter boy forward, the older Captain walking in between both men as she strolled along the park's pathway, "Torbernite will be introducing you shortly to your new teammates, as well as informing you of the mission all of you have been assigned to."

Nealite made a mental note to thank her husband when she arrived home - perhaps there was hope, after all, for the male gender in the Negaverse.

"As for me... well, if I find I need your assistance, I'll find you. I have a knack for knowing where everyone is." She could hear Torbernite gulp beside her. "But don't you worry about that, darling, not when you need to be getting yourself acquainted to this new... lifestyle."
