Post 3: Important Dates
August sometime: Lily arrives at the labs to work as a Lab Technician.
December 28, 2005: Lily is selected to assist Doctor Moreau and ends up smashing some vials, wasting an expensive amount of serum. Moreau is not very happy.
December 29, 2005: Lily wakes up in her new home.
March 26, 2006: Lily's former profession is found out by some Islanders, no one is very happy.

Description: It's very nice compared to where Lily had been living, since it would seem the subjects are better accomodated than the lab techs. Comprising of one great room and a bathroom, as well as the various furniture supplied to each subject. Lily has yet to do any major arranging.

Post 8: Acquaintances
Opinions after being found out.
Dr. Moreau: After finding out she cost the man $2,687,432.89, in public, she is even more intimidated by him. When you think he's come up with a bad punishment, he follows it up with a worse one. Lily is not happy he told people about her [before she got the nerve to herself?]
Chana: Chana was by the River when Lily was found out, and one of the people that made Lily feel the worst. She was obviously hurt by the fact Lily lied, but has since decided not to hold a grudge. This makes her the only friend Lily is sure of (atleast, mostly sure of) now.
Jamal: Just plain scary. He appeared out of the brush by the river and threatened Lily after Moreau's 'announcement'- which has made her quite nervous about going around the village like normal. Lily doesn't know his name.
Pyroth: Also very scary, was openly furious by the river. Lily doesn't know his name.
Zach: Not so scary, but certainly wasn't very friendly. Not that it was unexpected. Again, Lily'd never met him beforehand, but she may have heard his name when Valentine showed up.
Valentine: The only one by the river that agreed with Lily in even the most tiny way by saying it all is interesting, even if she agreed with nothing else [the actions, the motivation, the Island in general..] She didn't catch this person's name either.
Joliette: The only person Lily lied to, and the first person she tried to go talk to after the episode by the River. Unfortunately, she'd recieved some of Lily's mail and read it, which told her before Lily'd gotten the chance. After the stress of the others' interrogation, Lily was too drawn in by Joli's calm tone, and is now quite worried about it.
Dr. Lockheart: Lily'd never met Aubrey in person while working, but she knew of her and had heard rumors. Lily found her to be much easier to talk to than she'd have thought, and appreciated her friendly chat and advice~

Post 9: Acquaintances
Opinions before being found out.
Dr. Moreau: Her last boss, and she'd only worked directly with him once- which did not end well. She found him to be rather impatient, and is not so sure about his choice of punishments ;__;
Chana: Lily's first encounter when one of the Islanders. Thinks she's nice enough. Made Lily realize she needs to figure out what to say if asked about why she's here. It seems impossible to run into Chana without ending up in an awkward silence.
Joliette: The second encounter with an islander, and the first with someone who'd changed. Lily found it to be quite interesting to actually see some of the results of the experiment. She admires how Joliette was able to tell her what's going on rather than let her think she's on vacation, and found her to be very friendly.
Joli is the only person that Lily had to outright lie to about how she got here, as she's the only one it was really discussed with. She's also the one she's made the worst slip ups with. While Lily likes her, these are some good reasons to be wary around her.
Colche: Colche is responsable for both causing and relieving any panic that Lily felt thus far about being an experiment on the Island. After a lapse in control over her cheetah nature, Colche killed a piglet and was very upset about it. This is what finally made Lily panic and feel very guilty, but Colche later assured her in her ever-so-innocent way that she is still Colche and that Lily will always be Lily and that she's happier and safer being here.
Lily doesn't understand fully why Colche is the way she is, but she's glad she ran into her.
Antony: This woman helped Lily off of the roof of a duplex, and for that she was immediately liked- especially since Lily wasn't sure she'd help her at first. She also worked very hard while making a camp at the beach, which was also quite impressive.
Anjali: Lily only saw Anjali briefly, when Antony led the way to the beach to make camp. She was very forward about the fact they're all one huge science experiment, and she didn't sound too angry about it. Not to mention she came off as a very intelligent and willing-to-work person. Certainly someone Lily got a good first impression of.
Awen: Lily only had a brief meeting with Awen, and couldn't help but stare rudely at her. She was very interesting looking, and very nice despite the staring. She gave Lily a mango, offered to catch her fish and gave her directions to a camp.
Amaya: Lily met Amaya under a tree, where Amaya was stuck due to the cold rain. Lily got help getting her back to a camp, and didn't see her again until the village opened again. So far, she likes Amaya.
Chubbs: Chubbs is one of the ones Lily found when Amaya was stuck under the tree. She found him very helpful, friendly and funny- He let them all snuggle into him so they wouldn't be cold at night.
Madison: Madison was with Chubbys when Lily went for help, she doesn't know much about her but she seemed friendly.
Rex: Lily met Rex on the walk back to the village when everything unlocked, she got a good first impression of him though they didn't get to talk much.
Ian: Lily also met Ian on the walk back to the village, having a good first impression of him as well.

Post 10: Red Eyed Tree Frogs
Binomial Nomenclature: Agalychnis callidryas
Common Names: Red-eyed tree frog, Leaf frog
Habitat: Arboreal; Neotropical environments
Sleeping Patterns: Nocturnal
Temperature Regluation: Ectothermic
Diet: Carnivorous; Insects such as crickets, moths, flies, grasshoppers, and occasionally smaller frogs.
Reproductive Patterns: Males attract females by 'singing'- making chirping noises. This draws females out of hiding, and there is often a fight for who claims the right to mate (a female may carry around more than one male for days, this is known as Amplexus.) The male fertilizes mature eggs as they come from the female. The eggs are laid attached to leaves over a body of water, rather than directly in the water. When the eggs hatch, the liquid from the eggs helps the tadpoles reach the body of water.
Typical Size: 2-3 inches (males smaller than females)
Physical Characteristics: Red-eyed tree frogs are very brightly colored. They're bodies are usually a bright green, with white bellies, blue on their sides and under the legs, orange toes- and obviously their red eyes. [ These colors help camouflague while in the trees during the day when the eyes are covered, but if disturbed the sudden great and bright red eyes may startle a predator away. ] The orange toes are equipped with suction cups, which help for sticking to trees and leaves.
Random Facts:
- Callidryas means 'Beautiful tree nymph' (Greek: Kallos (beautiful) + Dryas (tree nymph) )
- They can change color with their mood (Scale: green - reddish brown )
- Frogs have forked, sticky tongues that are attached at the front of their mouths, rather than the back. (True of regular frogs, assuming so for this kind as well.) They also do have teeth, though they are very small (maxillary teeth.)
- The vertical/slitted pupils of this frog give it good night vision and respond to changes in light well.
