Oh the beach. How she had missed it. Something about the shores and the lull of the waves pounding against the sand appealed to Tandrayne, who was currently residing on an edge of the beach, near some cliffs. She didn't want to be with the others of the beach, mainly because she had and currently her thoughts occupying her as she pulled her knees close to her and watched the ocean. A basket was next to her, holding an assortment of shells she had picked up. Pushing back strands of hair and making sure her recent adornment to her hair, stuck in her braid that was coming undone, was still there. Knowing the Shell pin was still there she returned to watching the ocean, her eyes watching the blue waves.

It was nice out. Alirien was glad for that, the nights had been just a bit chilly for his tastes, but then he had been neglecting to not pay attention to the weather so it was his fault, and a walk in the warmer air was a good idea. As long as he was away from his fellow male Candidates, for the time being.
The path he'd chosen wasn't crowded at all, which was just perfect, but someone sitting up ahead of him catches his attention after a moment. Huh, so he wasn't the only one with the idea to get out of the Weyr between chore assignments then, from the looks of it. And she had to be a Candidate, she looked about his age from this short distance.
"Enjoying the view?" Okay not the best greeting but he was focused a bit more on not tripping over any rocks that might be underfoot, not talking and walking at the same time.

"Hm? Oh er.. Yes. It is a nice day." She replied, turning around to look at who asked. A boy, around her age possibly and most likely a candidate. Considering from his looks he looked just as average as any guy, except for the fact he wasn't with some of the other male candidates who were currently on the beach also, playing around in the sands. She watched him fumble of getting across the rocky shore for a few moments, before returning her view back to the ocean. Hopefully, if she got lucky, he would go soon and she could be left to her thoughts and how to dodge more chore assignments. It wouldn't be long before they would figure out that the beach was a hiding spot for many of them trying to get away from chores.
(Sorry for the late reply, had to do some vacuuming ^^; )

There, now that the rocks underfoot are no longer a concern, he can look ahead better. "Mark for your thoughts? My sisters had the same look on their faces a lot, like you have right now, when they were trying to think of something."
He frowns a little then, looking over the water. Surely his sisters weren't getting themselves into any trouble without him there to keep them in line, right?
