She doesn't come without her flaws and though sometimes she forgets them in spur of the moment situations, she's fully aware that things may not turn the way she may have hoped.
Some people consider Shira a very kind and loving person and while she can be loving towards her family, it's quite a different story around strangers. She does not like to meet with other people, despite liking to venture out and be outdoors most of the day. She doesn't believe she needs friends or anyone other then her family to survive and be happy, believing that they are the only comfort she needs. Even if she gets mad at them, she doesn't go running to some random person to talk about her problems. Instead, she keeps it to herself, knowing full well that one way or another that they will find out about it anyway. Though sometimes it can be more trouble then it's worth, she's convinced herself that consulting with someone else will just make things worse. That other people only serve to hurt you in some fashion. That those that wear smiles on the outside are fake, only serving to help lure you in and never let you go. She has a dark view of the outside world and it's people, only seeing those she's involved with now to be 'trustworthy' and 'true'.
Despite her rather dark view of 99% of the world, or perhaps even more then that, Shira can actually be quite gentle and kind. Unfortunately, most of her kindness is usually there for a second and gone in another as she is quite blunt and will tell people straight out if they have any problems. She doesn't offer advice which doesn't really help her situation, but from time to time she'll end up dragging that person elsewhere to do something in order to get their mind off of what she may have said. It's only natural she realizes that some of the things she say can be rather hurtful, but she only attempts to try and make up for it if she cares about that person. Despite being someone who once told herself she would only be devoted to family, she has come in contact with very few people she actually felt comfortable with, though she almost never spends time with them or talks to them much.
Viewing from afar and with the people she love, Shira can be seen as a very loving and happy girl. She enjoys talking, getting involved in things, having fun and even training in order to better herself and better control her abilities. She laughs, she plays, jokes, eats, makes mistakes and even appears to look peaceful. A face or side she shows only to those she deems trustworthy. Because of this barrier she's set up, she also appears inexperienced in some of her abilities because of a limited variety of opponents and even a lack of knowledge. She knows full well that there are many things she doesn't know and could if she could just trust others enough. But she can't, rather, she's afraid to get close to other people, afraid she might lose herself to them and become someone she's not. She's seen it happen, being a person that was forgotten and tossed aside after a friend became involved with someone else. She doesn't want to see that happen to herself.
Because of the way she lives, Shira appears to be very stubborn and rather selfish. She sticks to her customs as best as she can, and doesn't like to share those she's close with, with anyone from the outside world whom she'd consider true strangers. She doesn't like to give up, whether it be an activity or even a person and will even lose her temper if pushed too far. She has spent most of her life with this train of thought, and even as happy as she appears to be, she can be seen quite often wearing a frown when she's out alone with no one near her. Likes::: "GAH! DAM- I MEAN...I'm hungry?"Though Shira doesn't know many people, she gets out enough that she knows exactly what she likes. A child at heart, Shira seems to and probably always will have a fondness for sweet foods and treats, especially pastries. If she were to go to a festival of some sort, she'd be caught dead at each and every stand that offered some kind of sugary treat! Her favorite though would have to be ice cream, followed by sweet breads and cookies. Besides sweets, she just loves to eat in general especially when she gets to trying something new! Her usual excuse is that food won't change her, she eats it and thats it, but people can stick around and try to manipulate you. Which usually works, in her mind anyway. Besides that, Shira also enjoys listening to instruments, has an unusual fondness for stuffed animals and small live ones. She also likes fruits baskets, or the two by themselves, flowers and various other small cute feminine things she'd much rather not discuss with anyone.
Dislikes::: "Why is your face arranged like that?"Shira doesn't like people. Period. Okay, well, most people. She sees most people as enemies and doesn't give most even a chance to let her change their mind about her...unless their stubborn enough to keep going at it. As a stubborn person herself, she acknowledges the stubbornness of others. Though it can be for good and for bad, depending. She also does not like when people disturb her when she's eating or when people try to pick on her or tease her. Especially with food. She also does not like most music, leaving it open to flutes as long as their played right. She also does not like the heat, finding herself to become lazy because of it. She hates it, the feeling of being lazy and not wanting to do anything. She is also not fond of spicy foods, water, pain, and being touched in any way. Strengths::: "Where'd my height go? RIGHT HERE!"Weaknesses::: "BRING IT ON! I'll take you all on!"Abilities::: "I've got more then a knuckle sandwich!"Motto/Belief's::: "I'm not a math whiz, but never count me out!"Appearance::: "Honest! I'm not short! You're all just giants on steroids!"Shira's appearance is pretty basic, though she is based on my first fully designed and constantly developing OC. She has rather long, semi-curly-straight jet black hair that goes down to just above her bum. Her eyes are often described as an emerald green because it just happens to be her birthstone and it closely resembles the color. Her skin is a light tan-ish color from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet though technically she really isn't that tall. In fact, Shira is quite short, especially for a constellation being just a teensy bit taller then a normal twilef.
