It was nice to have the weather warming up again. The forests of Hreidmar had been a bit chilly, with the sunlight filtered so much but raking a walk out in the open air it was quite nice. The faint metallic sound of his chains dragging through the grass behind him is, for the moment, the only sound to reach Shun's ears as the pink armor-clad fafner makes his way through the field enjoying the sunlight. As long as they don't snag on any particularly hard plant life, he has no problem with them.
He doesn't see any signs of life out though, but surely it's arm enough for that. Oh.. either his chains are the cause, or the light reflecting off of his armor s keeping them away. "I forgot about that." It was easy to, after all. He did wear it every day. The reflection was something you just get used to. Stopping his walk for the moment, he sits and pulls his chains in closer to look around, and wait. Perhaps not moving would let the animals about know he isn't a threat.

There was a rustling from the grass, pink ears twitching up from the green foliage coming up from the ground. She'd been out looking around for herbs to keep in stock, just so she wouldn't have to go hunting for them when she needed them and could have sworn just moments ago she had heard something. Blue eyes glanced around a moment before she hopped up on her hind legs to glance around.
"I shouldn't be going crazy," she murmured more to herself then any one else. A frown crossed her muzzle and her sings shifted against her back. "Maybe I was just hearing things..."

When not so much as a fly buzzes around him, Shun frowns lightly to himself and stands again to start off walking. Maybe there just weren't any living things around this area.. besides the plants. That or everything was taking the lazy route, enjoying the sun while they had the chance to. Not that bad an idea really, but he'd been itching to have a nice long walk and now that it was warming out he wasn't going to let the chance slip by.
Chains rustling along the ground again behind him, he sets off at a leisurely pace through the taller grass.

As soon as his chains started moving again she paused, eyes wide. There, she heard it again! And it was coming towards her? Wings rustling just a bit she decided to go and investigate the noise because curiosity was killing her!
With careful steps she made her way towards the noise, hoping the noise she was tracking wasn't something that would eat her face. Oh please don't let it be something that could eat her face, she didn't know how to fight! Still she moved foreword, tail lowered to show that she wasn't a danger.

The grass ahead of him rustling draws his attention and Shun stops short, ears.. and chains, coming to attention. The rustling of his chains stops. "Hello, is someone there?" Maybe that was why he hadn't heard anything around, if someone else was out.. then there'd be two reasons for no other signs of life to be active if they thought it was predators.
Or.. well hopefully the rustling wasn't a predator. Armor or not he didn't exactly like things with teeth coming at him.

A voice? Oh, voices could be good and likely not something that would eat her. Still she'd remain on guard as best as possible, she thought with determination as she continued on.
Breaking through the grass, she paused just in front of him with a bit of surprise. Armor and chains... this likely did not bode well for her at all. She was just going to have to remain on guard and optimistic.
"Hello."

Shun, on the contrary, finds himself relaxing when the rustling leads up to someone walking out of the grass, and speaking back. That was a good sign. He sits down, pulling his chains in closer. "Oh, so it was someone here. That makes me feel better then. I thought it could have been something else making the grass rustle like that."
He glances at the grass for just a moment before looking at her again curiously. "I didn't interrupt anything, did I? I'm Shun, from Hreidmar."

When the other seemed to relax, and didn't try to bite her head off, so did she. A soft sigh left the pink and white fafner as she moved closer (just enough to be unhidden by the grass she had peeked out from) then sat down as well. Her wings shifted on her back, trying to find comfort for the moment.
"No, not really," she replied in a soft voice, tail curling around her legs just a tad. "I was just searching for some herbs, so I had plenty in stock." Offering a small smile, it as gentle as her voice, she bowed her head just a bit.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Shun. I'm Zahira."

Shun watches her curiously, taking note of the wings. Oh, he didn't get to meet many of those around, most of the fafners he resided near were wingless. He nods lightly and glances up to the sky a moment. "It is nice weather to be out gathering things isn't it." Very nice. Clouds weren't even in sight up there, just the sun, and nice blue sky.
"Oh, it's nice to meet you too, Zahira."

Zahira nodded just slightly before her eyes followed his gaze up to the sky, a smile on her face. "A very lovely day indeed, not one to be wasted cooped up in a hut all day." A perfect day to let the world pass you by with out a care~
Moments of silence passed between the two, her nodding a silent reply to his words of greeting now that he knew her name. Then, as her head lowered back level, she let her gaze rest on the armored one a moment.
"So what brings you out here on a fine day, Shun?" she asked, pausing a moment to stretch. "Do you not have any one to spend your day with?"

Shun grins lightly, and spends a part of the silent moment gathering one of the chains a bit closer to himself so that it is out of the way. It didn't seem like either of them would be walking off but well, less tripping hazards the better.
He looks at her again at being spoken to, and thinks a moment. "Well, I had nothing to do, and the trees were blocking out most of this sunlight from reaching my home. Which was such a waste really, after the cool weather. I just decided to head out for a walk. There is someone I could have stopped by to speak with, but I liked the quiet this time. He can be a bit loud, most days."

"Ah, I see. One of those "silence is golden" sorts of deals."
Flashing him a smile, her attention is drawn to the moving chain for just a moment. She had to admit his chains made her curious but, at the same time, the more she wondered and thought the more she decided it was probably best not to ask. After all he could have done, and still do, a number of things with those chains and the strongly pacifistic side of her cared not to know at all.
"Sometimes silence can be a little too deafening though, your friend must be a great way to end the silence."

Shun chuckles lightly. "I guess you could say that. It's just nice to be able to hear myself think sometimes."
He nods thoughtfully though, not seeming to notice her attention to the chains. "That's true, it would get pretty boring if it were quiet all the time. I can't really see our clan as the same without him around anymore." It'd just be too... well, boring maybe?

Boring was never really much fun anyway, though she supposed that was why it was called boring in the first place. She couldn't really recall having some one like that around... She was almost envious of it. Shaking her head at herself, she sent little tendrils of loose hair into her eyes and she could feel the stick holding her hair in place shift just a bit.
"That does usually happened when one gets close to another, or you get used to a certain presence being there." Not that it was bad thing, mind you. And she certainly hoped he didn't think she thought that way.

"This is true. It is nice to have a... hm. Vacation? I guess that's a good word for it. A vacation from it, sometimes." Shun nods lightly before crouching down into a slightly more comfortable posture. The armor is kinda heavy, after all.
He looks at her hair curiously. "So.. how do you keep twigs out of your hair? Or grass? It looks like it might take a lot of work."
