As everybody knows, it's almost summer, so I'm going shopping for some shorts.
But I'm really self-conscious about my figure..!
I'm around 5'4" and about 110lbs but for some reason my legs are really big compared to the rest of me. D:

And I know this is kind of a weird thing to be asking, but I was wondering if anybody on this guild knows of any good ways to lose inner-thigh fat..? xD;;;
I asked my mum about it, but she just told me that I have "a beautiful figure" and for me not to worry about it. >.<

So any advice would be much appreciated! =D

you could look online for exercises made specially for your inner thigh. i have the same problem and cant get rid of my huge thighs, eventhough i bike everyday

also eat celery. its good for any kind of weight loss, even if it is nasty

thighs are a hard one to get rid of. more muscle than fat due to constant use of the legs, but in alot of younger cases it is flab. so if it is flab do running not other exercises like situps , and eat healthily. for muscle well do the opposite but mostly it's permanent if it is muscle

I've actually noticed, that girls tend to store more weight in their thighs then anywhere else in their body. Every time I venture out of my rabbit hole, I've always seen at least 10-15 girls with the same syndrome. It actually varies depending on genetics but well, that's not really important.
The best way to lose weight in general is doing cardio. Running, jumping, anything that'll get your heart pumping will not only benefit your whole body but it'll neutralize places where excess weight loves to seep in and take cover.Unfortunately, anything else like that stresses a specific part of your body will unavoidably promote muscle growth. (Which is a good thing in a way, since muscle feeds on energy. Fat is merely stored energy.) However, if you're planning to do any thigh work out, it's mandatory that you do more reps with less weights. Muscle weighs more then fat, which when some people overexercise they tend to get discouraged because they gained more weight. Then they stop altogether, allowing the muscle to melt back into fat and fall back into a rut.

Diet is extremely important as well. The difference in what you eat can drastically change the pace of your exercise regiment. Sometimes, changing diet might be the only thing you need to lose the appropriate amount of weight... Since what you put into your body ultimately changes chemistry. The more often you eat 'fresh' vegetables and fruit, you'll gradually grow fond of the taste. (Celery is delicious. So are asparagus, tofu, spinach, eggplants and the like. Omnomnom.) I emphasis 'fresh' because anything in a container is dangerous.

Most importantly, give yourself some time. Overdoing yourself will do more harm then good. It's best to take things slow and allow yourself to gain momentum. Only then you'll truly excel and your body'll thank you for it.

Thanks for all your advice, guys! =D

@ Mektju : Like, I already try really hard to eat healthily (I absolutely LOVE fruits and vegetables) and get a good amount of exercise.
But it's like you said, it built up muscle and now I've got big lower legs to match my big thighs. >.<
But I don't want to quit exercising because I'd much rather have big legs because of muscle than fat.
But what's on my thighs is definitely fat.. so I'll start doing more cardio. :3

try excersising your hamstrings and your quadiceps more.

i must mention though, careful about losing the weight because your about the right weight for your height.

running, biking, and swimming are really good ones. Also try stretching your legs out properly more often, it tends to warm up and make limber the muscles in your legs so you end up using them a bit more. You'll notice that maybe your stride is faster or longer.

From you're description, I can tell that you have a pear-shaped body.
I don't think you would necessarily need to lose any weight. Just wear the right clothes and you'll be fine.
Longer shorts are for you. Wear darker colors on the bottom than on the top.
