Anyone else think it would be cool to have like an orange island gym league in the guild? I think that would be pretty cool, lol.

I don't see how such a league could exist outside of roleplaying.
Although we don't have an official guildwide storyline like other guilds (Zeni, anyone?), I personally don't feel the guild needs one. Our Amity Square subforum has already been setup for all your Pokemon Roleplaying needs and restricting creativity down into a single RP League might be too constricting for those currently running stories and adventures already? Of course, that's just my two cents on that.

See the thing like i am talking about is like a hole other gym league like just have mini gyms, like 4 or 5 maybe.just have different clauses to do different challenges.

I just don´t see that working... there´s already a League you all can visit... and actually we hardly get activity in the league... most challengers don´t really try that hard to get through sweatdrop

I'm in Zeni....though this guild should try to have to have a unique pokemon battling system like the battle pyramid.

Well this guild will keep the League, and probably won't change anything. On the other hand, I have a Pokémon guild of my own, and I made a Leaders' Stadium (which has differences w/ this guild's Gym League).

I did add Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and a Champion to the Leaders' Stadium. The only new thing I added were the Frontier Brains. Anyways, wouldn't it be hard to adapt to the ideas challengers are speaking of? I mean, the way the Gym League is run now is fine (in my opinion because of it being basic and original [even though it states the Elite Four/Champion will be decided later in the subforum]).

Concerning elite four and champion, there is little point thus far as only two people have even completed the challenge and one of those two have gone on to become a gym leader. So yeah, challenger activity would be a plus.

As Kyrenx said, such a smaller system would just be pointless and a waste. If anyone were to run such a system it would be the current cast of Gym Apprentices.
We already have the battle tower where trainers can battles each other, earn ranks, and use points to gain items. What more do you need?
Changes are being made to the current Gym League. Some rules will be added, others taken out, and once activity goes up the next step is the E4. The shakey apprentice system is also in the works.
