 Chilly breezes and whispers in her ear made her shiver a bit. Something was going to happen today, she could feel it. Her sea green eyes focused on the brightly colored, pink and white, spider monkey that had taken to following her. She glared at him and then stuck out her tongue. "Why're you following me?" she asked him, snorting as he chittered something she didn't understand.
Stupid monkey. Probably thinks I won't eat it or something. she thought to herself, stretching out as she got up from her branch. She had been in the trees, escaping from some of the muddy puddles that accumulated over the course of the few rainy days that had happened. Back to back rain made her irritated for some reason.
Jumping down, Zigzag smirked as she finally realized that there was no mud, so she could finally go out and explore, hunting, even.

Vaktar was moody and snarky as ever, because of the crappy weather recently. the wind chill was no help to his mood ether. having been told off by his father to go cool his temper, he only rolled his eyes and stalked off to chill out for a bit. normally he would keep from being snarky towards family but his sister who could look as if she was his twin had been just irritating him to no end. tail lashing about, he didn't care if he got mud or dirt on him while he went on his walk.

Her ears perched as something hit them. Someone was near, rustling around in the underbrush or walking and messing them up. Dust would be kicked up, for sure. So, she went to slinking in the shadows to figure out who it was. The only give away, would be the white on her; but most didn't look for that. She'd learned better than that.
But a male came into view and she arched a brow. He looked moody. But it was still another B'alam other then her family. So, she bounced out of the shadow in front of him and smirked. "You look so grumpy on such a pretty day." Her voice was lofty and laced with laziness.

Vaktar stopped suddenly with eye all wide when she came out of no where at him. staying silent for the moment, he took a moment to figure out just how to respond to this female. he had not eve been a social one so his social skills where lacking a lot since he had no friends to speak of. " and you can tell all of that just by jumping from the shadows at me?" eyeing her, she was the first female he had ever met that wasn't family and he wanted to at lest attempt to be nice.

Zigzag couldn't help but grin as he spoke. His words seemed tense and almost forced, but she just flicked her tail. "No. I see it in your face. You don't look happy; you look down right angry or annoyed." She shifted from paw to paw and continued to watch the male. "I'm Zigzag, and I haven't seen you here before."

" and i have never seen you before ether." Vaktar grunted before sitting down and curling his tail around him. it seemed this female was willing to talk to him and wasn't put off by his grumpyness. " my name is Vaktar and you only managed to catch me on a off day" shrugging, he figured it wouldn't do any harm to get to know zigzag since it seemed she could put up with him.

Zigzag could put up with a lot of hings; her father was a pretty tense, grumpy person. When he seemed o semi-relax around her, he striped female actually grinned at him and flicked her tail. "I haven't been his way in a while. I'm usually found near my home, over in a big cave." She didn't give he details; she might be absentminded, but she wasn't downright stupid.
