We walk the shadows even in the day
looking out for those who are lost and helping them find their way
People don't take much attention to what we do
We try to help them without a thankyou
Sometimes there are things we've got to do, like embrace the darkness
and wake up the light
So even if we walk the shadows in the day
we still try to help people find their way
So where does that leave us when we have to find our way?
we follow the road that will lead us, take us out of the night and into the day
