RP sample: As Jake arrived in Karakura town he could only think one thing, "I just hope that i can make captain foust proud of me" Jake was walking down the street shaking in fear. For he was about to fight his first hollow. Jake searched for a couple minutes then became impacient so he screamed. "I may not be strong or have many abillties but I WILL DEFEAT YOU"

Not much later a hollow appeared breathing deeply in a very demonic way. This hollow was just like many he has heard of before at the soul society. This strange creature lunged itself towards jake. Jake was almost hit by the monsters attack but luckly jake jumped onto the monsters head then jumped again on to the ground. "Monster I will have your head" Jake was really trying to please his master. The hollow not being the smartest of sorts try to charge again. Jake pulled out his sword as fast as possible.

As the monster charged jake slashed his face. Then jake said "well that was easier than i thought" not even three seconds later you hear "ROOOOOOAR" "Craaaap" jake said with a sigh. "Maybe i should go for the midsection" jake thought. then jake jake jumped onto the hollows back and whispered in to its somewhat lacking ear "Im sorry" jake kicked the hollows head down then slashed its torso. "Eww this things blood is disgusting" Jake knew he was going to need a hot bath after this. Then jake said "I just hope captain Foust is pleased

It was a nice spring day and Shinju felt great! Sure the academy was a drag and the work was horrible, but nothing could bring her down today! Or at least that was what she thought as she walked to her next class. As she walked across a plaza a group of upperclassmen had come and surrounded her friend, Ren. Ren was the first in the academy who had found her zanpakuto's name. The only problem was that is was a completely supportive zanpakuto. Because of that she had become the least popular and most hated person at the academy. All the teachers adored her and used her as an example, which was probity the reason why she had become so disliked.

I’ve stayed by her side through lesser things, so why should she betray her now? She thought as she ran up to the leader of the upperclassmen and tackled him. “What do you think your doing, you little idiot?!” he yelled at her. The shinigami-in-training was very tall and had black eyes and hair. And if that wasn’t intimidating enough his blood red zanpakuto made sure that you would be scared. “I asked you a question, stupid! Are you going to answer me or not?” he roared. Shinju, scared but determined walked over to Ren and said “I’m Shinju Hokusai and I’m here to challenge you!

As she finished her sentence he started laughing. It was a cold heartless laugh brought on by a man with a large ego and an even larger case of bloodlust. “Alright kiddy.” He sneered “Hey guys and gals, this child is going to challenge me! Give us some room!” He pranced up to Shinju and told her to cross tips with him. Shinju drew out her zanpakuto and in a split second was on the ground. He was so fast! Not even lightning could catch him! Shinju got up, but was quickly pinned on the ground again. “Well now! You, darling, might just be the most pathetic thing I’ve seen in my life! I’ll teach you to disrespect your elders!” He rose up his zanpakuto and stabbed her through the arm. The pain was unbearable! Soon Shinju gave into the growing darkness, knowing she lost Ren’s honor.

When Shinju next opened her eyes she was in her dorm with Ren healing her wound. “Shinju-chan, I’m so glad you’re awake! I’m healing your stab wound right now as a way of saying thank you!” Deep down Shinju knew that Ren was upset. Not at Shinju, but at herself. Everyone wanted a good zanpakuto. One that would attack, defend, or just be cool. That was what Ren wanted, but it wasn't what she had, which made her depressed. Soon Shinju tried herself out and gave into the pain and the growing blackness. Suddenly the pain was gone and repleaced with a breeze and the faint scent of roses. There was a small girl standing on a long, grassy, plain in a yukata. "Shinju, I am Murakaze, your zanpakuto spirit. I have felt your pain and your will to live. I have decited to show myself early to you..." Joy lept into Shinju's heart as she heard the girl called Murakaze. "Murakaze-sama" she began "will you help me defeat someone?"
