/////Athletic build, but does have some love handles and thickish thighs. When in his casual wear, his muscles are very visible, though he tries to hide them.

Zanpakuto:
Huit
He has two zanpakutous', both strapped to his back and hip as shown. One has a brown hilt, while the other is red. He is a master of these weapons, and is rarely ever bested.

Zanpakutou Spirit:
Huitzilopochtli, 'Left Handed Hummingbird', also known as Eight, or Huit.
Blood thirsty, angry, loyal, and very protective of Marco. Very wise and insightful, though can be very brash sometimes. Uses telepathy to speak, but when angered can suddenly appear and literally screech at people or Marco.

Shikai:
Achieved.

Shikai: Koko's Goshujin Gisei Huitzilopochtli (Here's Your Sacrifice)
Though his size stays the same, his strength and speed exceed the normal limits for a man of his stature.

In shikai, all Marco needs to say is the release phrase, then hold the two blades out at his sides. An orange reiatsu surrounds him with a crushing force before he appears with two Maquahuitls'. These two sword like things are different though. The red one (Huitzil) looks like so, while the brown one (Opochtli) looks like this. Instead of being made of wood like traditional ones are made, these are made of metal. Both blades weigh a total of 100 pounds put together. (Opo weighs 75, Huitzil 25)

Both weapons utilize the power of heat (not to be mixed up with fire)
Heated to temperatures that can leave 2nd and 3rd degree burns depending on the contact time. (that's about it)

Instead of having actual attacks, Marco tends to simply use the oddly shaped blades and their weight to surprise and catch the foe off guard. Rarely ever goes into his shikai because he doesnt like hot things or places.

Bankai: Watashi agemasu anata watashi no chi (I give you my blood)
Things to note and remember: Marco's bankai acts a leech. Huit takes over Marco's body and depends on blood to sustain himself. The more blood Marco spills, the stronger/faster/whatever his bankai becomes. (limit is when he loses conciousness, then Huit has to release his hold).

To initiate it, he has to spill his own blood and get it onto one or both of his weapons. After that, a heavy and dark reiatsu surrounds him and the opponent. At first a deadly heat is felt, then a cold chill that seems to seep into the bones of everyone around. After an explosion of light, the opponent will literally see stars, a sun and the moon. This only lasts a few seconds before Marco can be seen again. He looks exactly like the picture, wings and almost nakedness alike. Instead of having two blades, he now holds a man sized Maquahuitl made of metal with a hilt of rubber. If hit by this weapon, bones will be crushed. If blocked by a zanpakutou, the force of the impact will be felt.

Marco's bankai's main ability is in the legend of Huitzilopochtli itself:

"The legend of Huitzilopochtli is recorded in the Mexicayotl Chronicle. His sister, Coyolxauhqui, tried to kill their mother because she became pregnant in a shameful way (by a ball of feathers). Her offspring, Huitzilopochtli, learned of this plan while still in the womb, and before it was put into action, sprang from his mother's womb fully grown and fully armed. He then killed his sister Coyolxauhqui and many of his 400 brothers. He tossed his sister's head into the sky, where it became the moon, so that his mother would be comforted in seeing her daughter in the sky every night. He threw his other brothers and sisters into the sky, where they became the stars.

Every 52 years, the Nahuas feared the world would end as the other four creations of their legends had. Under Tlacaelel, Aztecs believed that they could give strength to Huitzilopochtli with human blood and thereby postpone the end of the world, at least for another 52 years.

According to Miguel León-Portilla, in this new vision from Tlacaelel, the warriors that died in battle and women who died in childbirth would go to serve Huitzilopochtli in his palace (in the south, or left). From a description in the Florentine Codex, Huitzilopochtli was so bright that the warrior souls had to use their shields to protect their eyes. They could only see the god through the arrow holes in their shields, so it was the bravest warrior who could see him best."

Bankai Math!
Marco has six pints of blood he can lose (assuming that because he's a shinigami, he has around 10)
Each technique/attack will have a - # next to it, showing how much blood it takes. After losing six, he passes out.

Full Armor: -0
Though naked for the most time, all of the reiatsu that leaks from his body is put to use as a Hierro type thing.

Bright Soul: -3
A technique that allows him to bring back 52 ancient Aztec warriors to serve him. These warriors are like zombies, though they possess the strength and speed of some of the most experienced warriors.

Feather Pelt: -2
By spreading his wings wide, he is able to shoot out darts and pelt the opponent with them. These feathers are as sharp as any blade.

Moon Toss: -0
A fancy way of saying that he grabs the opponent and throws them into the air some hundred feet, just to smash them back down to Earth.

Star Bright, Star Light: -2
The holes in Marco's new weapon are constantly seeping heat, but when this technique is activated, flames shoot from them. If thrown, the weapon becomes a sort of flaming boomerang. This can also be used to blind the foe if tossed into the air then activated. .

Cosmic Thunder: -3
This attack can only be used after he's lost a pint or more of blood. (2-3 medium to deep gashes and or jabs)
By flying into the air, Marco unleashes Huits ancient powers. The sky darkens, then thunder and lightning start up. After a minute or so of that, meteors and other space rocks begin hitting the Earth at max speeds. Each space rock creates a crater that has a 10 ft radius. Exactly 52 rain from the skies to crush the opponent.

Drawbacks:
Because this bankai is a leech, Marco can only sustain it for a few hours (18 posts). Afterwards, if not treated immediately, he goes into a coma like state where Huit protects his body from bleeding out. If treated immediately, he cannot go into bankai again for a full 72 hours afterwards, and shikai 48 hours.

Special Accessories:
A pair of clackers that he uses to distract people with.
Anything he picks up really. (if he finds a cool looking rock on a walk, he'll pick it up and carry it around for the rest of the day, or until he gets back to his office.)

Skills:
Strength: Though he's rather small, his strength does not suffer in the least. Can easily lift two full sized men and still move at top speeds.

Extreme speed: Can keep up with the fastest of the second squad, though he cannot do this for long. (this )

Has mastered and created his own form of sword wielding: Uses both of his blades to effectively disarm or dismember nearly anyone he comes into contact with.

Excessive amounts of reiatsu give him a hierro type thing, meaning weaker leveled attacks dont really cut or harm him. (think Kenpachi)

Ambidextrous: can fight with both hands, though can only write and eat with his right.

Master of MMA fighting: After sneaking a TV into his office, Marco has become addicted to watching wrestling and MMA fights. This has led him to wanting to train hard to be able to take someone down without having to draw his weapons. He has trained for most of his time in the SS, which leaves him with a near unparalleled mastery of this form of fighting.

Abilities:
Has trained himself to not only put a cap on most of his own reiatsu, but is able to direct it to other things/people. (example: he's hiding from someone, and to keep himself from being found, he directs his reiatsu to like...a dog or something) Can only spread up to a 3 mile radius of himself.

He calls his most used technique Sprinkle Penny for a very unknown reason. He directs his reiatsu into different areas and forces them to explode. At first, it was extrememly hard for him to do this to more than two areas, but now he can do up to twenty within a mile radius of himself.

Really happy overall. While alive, he was known as a goofball, and that hasnt changed a bit since dying. There are only two things that cause him to go crazy; seeing a woman being abused, and slaughter of innocents. Then, he embraces the fighter inside him and kills anything in his way. To woman and small children, he is a joker and a lover, but with men, he's a drinking fighter, who has a part time job as a perv.

As the Sou-taicho, he understands that he needs to be able to protect all of the people in Rukongai and Soul Society, which has led him to the almost obsession with training. If not asleep or in a meeting, he can be found training with random people. Though he has been able to fight his way to the strongest of the strong, he still remains humble, and knows that he could still be learning more from other people.

In battle, Marco tends to let people do their own thing, but if it seems like the power levels are super distanced, he's quick to jump in and help.

Biography/History:
Early in his life, Marco grew up with his Nana Crystal and his Tia Marcy. They were both rather old, so he was used to following them around and helping out. They taught him that no man should ever harm a woman, unless she really deserves it. After his 30th birthday, Marco found out that his lover and wife was pregnant with twins. They were coming home late from the baby shower at Tia Marcy's house when a deer ran into the middle of the street. Where the deer had come from, Marco wouldnt have been able to say, but either way, it put him in a state of shock. He swerved to avoid it, but something went wrong. Where his wife went is unknown, but it's probably a good thing he doesnt know or remember about her.

Marco can remember none of his past, other than growing up near the Crenshaw area in Los Angeles. For him, his life started when he found himself in the Rukongai. The only thing he knows about his past is that his Grandmother was of Aztec decent, he can speak and understand Spanish, and his full name. From the early years of being a soul, Marco had always loved protecting the underdogs, no matter their gender. All of the local people looked up to and respected him as their hero. After the death of a small child who followed him around, Marco swore that he would never let it happen again. He swore that he'd protect every underdog he ever met, no matter their race. This led him to join the Soul Society. When browsing the squads, he felt that number 11 would be the best one to help him train and hone his skills in combat. After several hundred years, he moved up the ranks to captain of squad 11, then took over when the previous sou-taicho died.

Powers:
(master) Shunpo [Flash steps] - a movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the bases of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps.

Utsusemi [Cicada] - It allows for a movement at great speed leaving an afterimage behind. The agility and speed of Hohō can be enhanced and improved through mastery of it, concentration, and training. The foremost practitioners of this technique are those assigned to the Onmitsukidō.

No Kido: embraces the squad 11 in him and refuses to use them unless he really needs them.
