Those subforums have been "Coming Soon!" forever, so I took the liberty to assign them annual days that people celebrate things. Most of them are holidays, but that's totally the best time =P

So, here's the deal:

- New Years Ball: The last full week of the year is entry week. To put it simply, we'll be in the voting phase on New Years. The theme is a party, of course! Each year this will probably change in theme from masquerade, pool party (yes, a pool party in January), keg party/frat party, etc. etc. You can suggest and vote on the theme up until the month of December!
- Lunar New Year: The date of the Chinese New Year changes every year, which is why it's between New Years and Valentines. We'll schedule entry in accordance to the date of the next Chinese New Year. The theme of the entry will be that year's animal, so incorporate it somehow if possible.
- Valentine's Day: We enter the week before Valentine's Day. We're going to be rebels and make avatars based on unfriendlyness and hate! Or not. Depends on popular opinion that year.
- St. Patrick's Day: Lots of green, gold, and beer. And maybe some Leprechauns. Everything is better with little people.
- Summer Solstice: The first day of summer. We'll celebrate being out of school, gaining tons of weight from being lazy for three months, and most importantly our right to party cool
- Pirate Week: A celebration of Talk Like a Pirate Day. We dress like pirates, of course.
- Halloween: Varies depending on that year's contest. Normally you can expect to make avatars in the theme of a spooky night of candy and decapitations. Or something like that.
- Ninja Takeover: A celebration of the Day of the Ninja. See Pirate Week.
- Holiday Winter Wonderland: Like Halloween, it varies depending on the contest. Sometimes we'll do Christmas and sometimes we won't! It's up to you guys. Normally you can expect to make avatars about snow and presents and s**t, though.
- Turnabout Goldfish: A Courtroom Mystery: Goldfish Nightlights' very own original AvA participation entry. Varies in date, but expect it to go on during the late spring or early summer. This will be written and planned in advance, so expect to have your roles PM'd to you anywhere up to four months in advance.

Threads will be posted in each forum laying down the annual goings-on and sign-up threads. The sign-ups will be locked until three (3) weeks before submission for EVERY entry except for Turnabout Goldfish, which I need a head count for in order to plan.

I realized that you just filled in the unused forums but Felix would like a Spam/Advertising forum and I was thinking that maybe we could have a "Challenge" thread for people who have avatar ideas that aren't necessarily group entry ideas but just fun or interesting things to do.

I... I'd be willing to give up my Ninja forum for it. We could combine the Ninja and Pirate sub-Forums and make it a Ninja vs. Pirate forum. We can still have the individual Talk Like a Pirate Day and Ninja day entries based in that forum. And maybe have a P vs. N event some time between the two holidays.

Also, we could combine our two "Archive" forums. (I don't mind doing all the moving if you don't want to.)

This is true. (And our guild will never say no to donations). But we have allot of sub-Forums as it is. It would make more sense to rearrange the ones we have than make new ones.
