~~~NEW UPDATE ON TIME REQUIREMENT EFFECTIVE 26 MAY 2010~~~
So you love this guild so much that you would want to help to run it, eh?
Well, I'm not gonna just let anyone run this guild now.
Tis a big responsibility to run this guild and work will be expected of you. Do you think you have what it takes to be a guild Moderator Crew Member? Being a Moderator Crew Member IS A JOB, NOT A REWARD. And it is completely volunteer work I do not pay money for the work, no one is paying ME to run this guild.
Wow, still reading, eh? So you don't mind doing the work for free then I assume? Ok, well thats just 1 of the requirements to becoming a Moderator Crew Member.
Here are the complete list of the requirements:
1) Understand that the position is a volunteer job, not a reward.
2) TIME REQUIREMENT: You must be a member of this guild for a MINIMUM of 3 MONTHS (no longer 6 months) which will show me a minimal amount of commitment to the guild to stick around for that amount of time.
3) You must average a minimum of 25 posts per month in this guild (its less than 1 post per day)
4) You must be enthusiastic and be a positive role model in this guild.
5) You must participate in guild activities at least some of the time and show good leadership skills.
6) You must be respectful of other people and be good at following the guild rules.
Strict much?, um yeah I am. I don't want a bunch of moderators, truthfully. And the moderators I do have I want to know I can count on them and depend on them and to be able to trust them and know they are committed to the guild. If I can't trust my mods, then who knows what could happen to this guild in the wrong hands, ya know? stressed

Hahaha... oh wait u were serious? Wow, well I'd better assume that you are already a Guild Moderator Crew Member first. There is no getting to the top without working your way up now, thats not how it works here. Tell u what, perform your job well as a Guild Moderator Crew Member for a minimum of 1 years (no longer 2 years as previous) to show proof to me of your commitment and faithfulness to the guild and we will talk more then about further requirements, m'kay? 3nodding

Since it doesn't say on the memberlist the join date for people, I will probably just go by the date of the post the person made in the Introductions thread. Afterall, what crew member would not have made the initiative to have introduced themself to the guild, right? So I think it is fair to go 6 months according to that date of the introductory post. 3nodding BTW, NO ONE is eligible for crew member yet as this guild hasn't even been around for 6 months yet, lol. MiaShiya got in under the old requirements I had for being crew/VC. She has done a good job with the guild so I am not gonna change her position due to the new requirements for the position. I have had 3 previous crew members that either broke their commitment to me and the guild or I had to let them go due to them not performing job to standards. This one happens to be the strictest of them all when it comes to promoting. U hafta understand that I have had multiple people betray my trust in the past whom I thought I could trust (in this guild), its nothing personal against you. In the Demi guild I am opening up some to trust again there so if you can prove to be a really good mod there, it would look impressive on an application for becoming a mod in this guild I must say. Although the rules for mod in this guild is not written in stone, it is possible I could make an exception in an exceptional case, but I don't plan to change from the guideline rules for this guild much anytime soon. If ur really die hard iCarly fan it will come to you, you need not worry about that. Patience is a virtue. And also, if u really EARN the position of a mod in this guild you will feel it as a real accomplishment for yourself since it is so hard to get. If I were to just give it to you, then it wouldn't mean so much to you, especially if every other person in this guild were a moderator it wouldn't be so special, u know? wink wink I really like ur enthusiasm, u r definitely on the right track my friend. I have a question.
Was MiaShiya a crew member for 2 years?! Not to be mean Smurfay, but that is a very long time, I'll probably have at least 2,000 posts by then.

Smurfay used to have a few people moderating in here, he thought they were good people, but they turned on him and betrayed him and left him. He has trouble trusting people because of it and he talks of other things that happened long ago too. MiaShiya is lucky as she was one of the original moderators here so she got on the modding team before Smurfay changed the requirements to be a moderator. Since she was already on the moderator team and she seemed to be working out for him, he decided to keep her on instead of enforcing the new rules on her, so she is an exception to the new rules.
Quite frankly, I don't blame him.
It's really hard to know who you can trust these days. ninja
When he opened the new Demi Guild, he is trying to trust again by putting some people on as crew members, also because he is really busy in life too, especially since he has 2 other guilds to run too.
You could try to be a crew in his Demi Lovato guild.
He also is taking a big chance by putting someone on at the VJ guild he asked my permission since I funded that guild.
I know that this Miranda guild is his biggest, and best guild so he is going to be the most up tight on letting people moderate in this one, this guild is his prize baby if you know what I mean. ninja
The only reason why I was able to be a vice captain in the VJ guild is because I gave him 20,000 gold to open the guild. I knew he wanted to make the guild, but he is kind of poor when it comes to Gaia Gold. He does the best he can though, and gives away almost everything he makes in prizes in this iCarly guild. That is very generous and noble of him to do that because he loves Miranda so much and all of you guys in here. ^_^
But since I had paid for the guild, he felt it was only fair for me to be vice captain in the VJ guild. ninja
If you would like to be his Vice Captain in a guild, what you could do is be enthusicastic about him making a guild and offer him 20,000 gold to open up a guild he would be passionate about and there you go.
Smurfay has told me of other guilds he has thought about making. I'd offer to help him with some of those too except I don't have much gold either since I don't come on that often.
The other guilds I know he would really like to make sometime is one for The Clique Girlz (he secretly loves their music ninja ), The Powerpuff Girls (his favorite cartoon), Emma Roberts (he likes her acting/singing), Hilary Duff (he likes her acting/singing). I think those are the ones that he would be the most passionate about. ninja

You can thank a certain few ppl for making me become strict as I am who let me down for being how I am now. heh Its true, if I had more money then I could give more generous presents in the guild. There is a reason I don't change my outfits often, its cuz I don't have a whole lotta items to choose from to wear, hehe. But its ok, I am happy with what I do have. smile LOL, to be honest I hardly have time to run the guilds that I do have. You are right about what guilds I would be interested in being a part of though, razz I don't have to be a captain though, I'd be happy just being a member is fine with me. Tis hardly a secret that I'm into Clique Girlz. I just hadn't updated my Gaia profile recently. blaugh For being as awesome as they are, tis amazing that I am the all time world top listener at Last.fm for the Clique Girlz in the whole world!!! exclaim Tis amazing they aren't more popular than they are. They are lots better than dare I say it, sweatdrop even Demi Lovato and Miranda Cosgrove.
