A friend and I made this video for a college project/art show.
It's pretty rough, and because of lighting issues, we could only shoot at night, so we were always tired, but all 'n' all, I'm pretty excited with how it turned out for a "test video" for future projects.
Here you go, kids:

Enjoy.

Yeah, it was our first attempt. Because we had to shoot it at night, the tripod was moved, and as a result, every 30 frames or so, there's a bit of a move in the camera.
If you liked the actual sprites, those were all me! 3nodding

You have about a quarter of the amount of frames that you should; half of what would make it look somewhat smooth. It's reeeeally choppy, even for stop-motion.
Sweet idea, though.

Jack already mentioned this, but you don't have enough shots. Also, the speed was a bit slower than it could have been.

Good job. I would like to try some stop motion stuff sometime. I think it would be fun.

Yeah, the problems with the video are ones we are very aware of. The big deal with the framerate basically came from the fact that we had to slow it down to about 3 frames a second in order to extend the video to 1 minute. Had we had more than four days to shoot, we would have been able to shoot more frames, and make more "sprites" to have a better range of motion.
As it stood, we kind of wanted a "crappy" or "homemade" look to the video. Unfortunately, with the multiple shooting days, it ended up a little bit more campy than we were hoping for.
Regardless, we liked what came out, even if it wasn't perfect. Our next video will probably be using Sonic the Hedgehog, and actually be shot IRL, using a person "dressed" in Sonic's colors.

Maybe if you film in a place where you won't have to move the camera every day/night it'd be allot less shaky
