Serandite had an introduction meeting to go to tonight. Tonight, she would be meeting Sassolite, one of the two unknown members of team Hunny Bunny. Or Hunnies for short. Possible bunnies. Yes. That was her team name. She had spent most of the school day agonizing over it and deciding which spelling of "honey" she should have used. Her teacher had dumbfoldedly looked down on her notebook of different bunny logos and wisely did not choose to ask why one had laser beam eyes.
If they had objections, they would quickly get over it. Besides, Serandite had priority-- she was the captain of the team after all. With that thoguht in her mind, it was almost hard to believe that she was actually a captain now. Not a lieutenant anymore. A captain. If you asked her how she felt, she couldn't describe it in words. She probably would have stood dumbly but cheerfully there.
(She was not open to changing the name.)
It was a little later during her usual exit time as she scrambled to get a certain special item she had made for her team member today. It was small and white and one could probably tell what it was before she took it out.
But that was why she was running later than usual. But in this case, she discovered she was allowed to run later than usual. Instead of taking ten to fifteen minutes to get there, she would get there in less than five. Providing that she figured out how to teleport right. She was assured she wouldn't end up in the north pole or the tropics. Or Easterland. It was quite the shame she couldn't teleport to Easterland-- considering that such a place never existed in the first place. With a satisfied smile, she stood stylishly there, hair tucked under hat, poised to get out the window in her civilian form.

Skye was awake, she was generally always awake when Serah left but today Serah was taking forever and it was getting on Skye's nerves. She had a meeting to go to with Nealite and this Serandite who was suppose to be over seeing her or something. All sounded rather boring really. She wasn't overly looking forward to it but she had to go and Serah was taking forever.
She rolled over and pretended to wake up. She looked at Serah and smiled.
"Off to work?" Skye sat up pretending to be waking up. She would get up and go to the kitchen, pretend she was hungry. Then hopefully she could sneak out there but she really needed to know that Serah was about to leave. She couldn't transform anywhere near Serah and at this rate she was going to be really late.

"Yeah. Oops. Was I making too much noise?" Serah asked but the question was of little concern towards Skye. She tied up her hair and straightened her hat, finally moving from the room. "See ya!" The curt farewell was said as Serah closed the door behind her, lightly skipping down to the hall way.
However-- instead of running in the usual direction, she ducked behind the building. Time to teleport! One of the many benefits of Captain stage. It would be one of the first times trying it, she thought gleefully. Teleport-- teleport!
FLASH. DISAPPEAR. BANG.
(None of those sound effects came up.)
What did pop up was Serandite at the meeting, landing butt first on the ground and rubbing the sore spot with a grimace. "Ouchouchouch! Wow, teleporting sucks!" She said, struggling to straighten up. "Hey Neaaaaaliiiiiiiite. You here?" She turned around, mouth turned from a frown to a smile. She looked around for the orange-haired Queen or the lieutenant. Hm. Sassolite. Sounded.. uh.. sassy.

"No it's fine..." Skye gave a mumbled reply but smiled hugely when Serah finally left. Why did she have to take so long? Today of all days?
She jumped out of the bed and transformed running out the room and down the corridor and out the window she had once followed Serah out of. Oh how things had changed. She wondered what Serah would actually think of her if she knew who she really was and that she went around murdering people at night. Oh well what did it really matter.
She ran towards the meeting place as quickly as she could. She was late, she knew it and she could already see the smug look on Nealite's face. Ah well ******** the b***h, Skye did not like her.
Now as Sassolite she ran though as fast as she could. Would her roommate being annoying be a good enough excuse? Oh who knew, she just had to get there and get there fast!

"You'll drain your energy quickly, that way."
From the shadows of the park, Serandite was finally able to spot the silhouette of the older woman, sitting on the nearby park bench. "It'll be exceedingly tiring, the first several times you do it. With practice, you'll build up your stamina, but I don't imagine it'll get easier until you hit General."
It had gotten easier for Nealite... but then again, Nealite also had the help of a second soul residing within her. Technicality, but she could recall the first days of being a captain, and how tiresome it had been just to simply teleport from one room into the next.
Crossing one leg over the other, Nealite returned to filing her nails, glancing up idly now and again to watch the younger girl struggle up to her feet. "She hasn't shown up yet, so you're still good on time." Reaching over to the empty half of the bench beside her, she patted the wood, an invitation for the other girl to join her. "Do you have any questions, before she arrives?"

"By teleporting? You mean, I'll face a** flat everytime?" Serandite said grouchily, relieving herself with the thought that the painwas only temporary. If anything, she should focus on landing on a bed or a soft pile of leaves.
As Nealite said, her energy had been drained somewhat. but it didn't stop the smile that continually rose to her lips. She was quite amazed to be on the same level as Nealite-- she never thought the day would come.
(Beryl didn't count. Nealite did. Serandite would never be Beryl's rank okay.)
She took a seat, bouncing on the bench practically, flicking her hair to the side. She took a moment to gather her thoughts, finger to chin in a thoughtful gesture. "Well, my first question would be why your hair color is orange. My second question would be, team name and badges are up to me right? I wouldn't want some of my lieutenants running to you to change what I've got planned, after all." A dark grin came over to her face, a creepy giggle making it's way out-- and a proud glint in Serandite's eyes.
"Ohohohoho, I'm sure some of them are going to run to you anyways." Like the bunny on her waist, the eyes glinting in malicious calculation, as if planning the most humiliating revenge on an enemy ever, Serandite mirrored the exact same look. (...Or the look of a girl intent on dressing her team members up.)

Sassolite managed to reach the meeting place, late. She was really quite late but was completely blaming it on Serah. Why had she left later? Sass had worked out time wise she would have made it find if Serah had left at her normal time but oh no she had to leave later.
Sass saw Nealite before she saw Serandite who was, pink. Really really pink. Seriously? Pink? Well each to their own but she hadn't seen anyone quite that pink apart from her roommate who seemed to like pink somewhat. Then again wasn't pink a girls colour normally? Oh well.
She walked over to them as casually as she could and glanced at Nealite. She didn't have much to say to the orange haired thing. Yes Nealite was a thing. That is how much Sassolite really did not like her. She turned to Serandite and looked her over before finally looking at Nealite properly. Lets get this started then.

"Team.... names?"
Nealite had ignored the first question (her mother had the same color hair - what did hair color matter?), focusing her attention on the latter inquiry.
"You can ask me any question in the world about the cats, the senshi, your mission... and you want to talk to me about what you're naming your unit?"
The captain was quickly beginning to understand why Charonite seemed to always be in a foul mood.
Waving one hand in the air dismissively, she shook her head. "Do what you want, just make sure you're focusing on the mission instead of creating a club house or t-shirt or whatever else you have in mind. This is an army, captain."
As she was finishing her statement, the scowling Sassolite appeared on the scene. Nealite hadn't seen the lieutenant after their unfortunate lesson of star-seed capturing, Sassolite having been forced to walk her way home in the dark while Nealite had spent a good hour showering dirt out of her long hair.
Smirking, her waving hand motioned in the newcomer's direction. "Serandite, this would be your first officer. Sassy, this is Serandite, your captain."

"Mission. Army. Got it! ♥" Serandite said cheerfully, giving Nealite a thumbs up. One had to wonder if the cheerful pink elf actually got the message. (She looked like she didn't but then again, she looked like she didn't take a lot of things seriously.)
Oh. Sassolite. True to her name, she came up scowling and looking quite sassy. In fact.. she gave off a very similar aura to someone Serandite knew. Or more accurately put-- someone Serah knew.
"Yep! Your captain. Or otherwise known as your friendly Crystal Academy girl, Serah, if you need to contact me!" Serandite grinned, raising her hand in a high-five-waiting motion. As if by sidenote, suddenly remembering, she turned to Nealite over her shoulder. "Oh. i've got some brief intel on a guardian cat for you. Since Sassolite's here, I thought I'd brief you guys both. You did say you wanted us to report to you?"

"It's Sassolite or Sass..." She corrected Nealite, really will the orange haired thing ever get it right? Probably not. She was about to say something else, probably complaining about something when Serandite said who she was.
"Serah? What? You mean all this time? I was late waiting for you to leave for "work" tonight... and all along? Really?" Sass looked confused now and slightly annoyed. Serah had been part of the negaverse all along? Well at least Skye wouldn't have to be careful when becoming Sassolite when in the room now. What a small world it is...
"Guardian Cats?" Sass looked a little confused. Weren't they suppose to be riding the world of Senshi? Hadn't Nealite told her about the cats being bad news... or was that someone else? Either way Sass hadn't seen or met a guardian cat as far as she knew and wasn't planning to either.

"Guardian cats," Nealite echoed briefly, confirming the brunette's question, "Take care of the cats and there won't be any more senshi showing up."
Her eyebrows remained arched and she nodded towards the captain beside her, draping one arm across the back of the bench as she turned, "Oh? Astraea, or one of the others?"
Nealite was finding it hard to fathom that Serandite had spent her time researching the Guardians (she heavily suspected that Serandite was indeed spending her time scouting out locations for an official Team Hunny Bunny Clubhouse), but she'd been proven wrong before. Hopefully this would be another case of her having underestimated a situation.

".. WAIT WHAT? You're Sassolite?!" Serandite's eyes widened, an irritatingly high pitched half scream, mutter and gasp combined as she pointed at Sassolite. "I can't believe it! You could have told me you were negaverse too--" Her smile suddenly brightened. Lieutenant Sassolite. Those words suddenly registered in her mind.
"--Yep, Lieutenant Sassy." She took Nealite's nickname for her roommate, grinning widely. "We take care of the cats means we limit the senshi that can join their group. Then we can focus on the senshi here right now." She elaborated on her plan slightly, chin cupped in hands as they sat on the bench.
(In regards to Nealite's thoughts, Serandite had been scouting out locations for the Hunny Bunny Clubhouse.)
"Well, I don't know of Astraea. But I do know an Ophelia and Zue. " She brought out colored pictures of the guardian cats-- obviously a large amount of effort had been put into these chibi-manga like drawings, one with a smiling face and one with grumpy expression. If one compared the real cat to the drawing, it was at least identifiable.
Serandite pointed to the first picture, a female draped in a long dress with lots of accessories, her expression almost bittersweet. "This is Ophelia. She's a kind-hearted cat. The best way to win her over right now-- if you met her-- might be to pull an innocent act over her. She's.. rather.. soft." The last sentence was said rather strangely if you knew Serandite but she glided over that quickly. "The other one is a purple haired male. He's soft but he's experienced in battling. You want to engage in battle right away preferably with him."
(Now that Serandite had said it, they both seemed rather soft.)
"If I may have a personal request in regards to this mission.. Nealite?" She asked for permission before speaking, an unusually humble tone and expression took the place of her normally cheery one.
Guardian cats. Hm.

Sass was about to respond to the obvious reason why she hadn't told Serandite that she was a negaverse but then she got called Sassy again and so just scowled. She thought it would be better then causing an argument now, in fact they could argue later, a lot later, in their room when Sass would make it very clear she was not to be called Sassy under any circumstances!
She did however turn her attention to the talk on cats. So they were to hunt these cats down were they? Well it was interesting for sure but really? Cats? Sass was still a little on the skeptical side about how dangerous these cats could be, they were after all just cats.
She listened to Serandite and looked at the pictures, Ophelia was rather pretty for a cat.
"How many cats are there? Does anyone know?" It would be a useful thing to know how many of these oh so dangerous cats they were chasing down.

She took the two pictures from the younger girl's hand, staring at the doodled felines colored across the pages. Nealite herself had never met either cat being shown - how many were there, out there?
"This makes six, at the very least."
Ophelia. Zue. She stored their names in the back of her head as she studied the pictures. Serandite hadn't mentioned receiving any injuries from either cat, so perhaps they weren't as powerful as their fearless leader?
"Grendel and Caine have both been corrupted to our side. Neither are capable of harnessing the power of the Lunar Guardians anymore, unfortunately, so we can't study them for help. Astraea is the leader - she's silver and packs quite a punch with her forehead star. If you see her hands reach up for her forehead, for the love of God, just don't stand there."
Handing the papers back towards the Captain, she continued, "The other is Chloe, a Siamese cat. Blue star on her forehead and a little devil to try to catch. She's not nearly as powerful as Astraea, but a Guardian's a Guardian."
Her head tilted slightly, caught off guard by the question. "A personal request? Yes, go ahead?"

She took the papers back, sticking them into the bag that she had brought along.
"If you're referring to the forehead laser beam, I've been on the receiving end of that." Serandite mentioned, interrupting the conversation briefly with that comment, wincing at the memory. Laser beams from stars-- Well, her bunny was worse. In terms of strange phenomenons, probably.
Serandite hesitated before speaking-- she wasn't sure if the negaverse allowed for such requests. But she had to try anyways.
"..I'd like for my team, Hunny Bunny, to.. personally go after Ophelia. It wouldn't hinder our mission for the cats-- but if possible, I'd like to concentrate on Ophelia. A personal grudge, if you'd like to call it that." She said with difficulty but not without satisfaction from handing the newly found information to Nealite. At least her losses to them hadn't been in vain-- she had names and descriptions to give to Nealite. New information, it seemed like.
She stiffened, bracing herself for the possible rejection that might come. (If it had been Charonite, the rejection was fully expected. But this was Nealite.)
