Cleaveland Rocks. We played it at the football games and I had so much fun playing it. In Jazz band my fav is Thriller. We played it at the assembly and everyone went wild. You always know what the audience likes.

Concert Festival is Monday and we have been working on three pieces. I love all three of them (which are Wood County Celebration, Country Wildflowers, and Von Grrhart's 613th Regimental March) but my favorite would have to be the march because I love the clarinet part that I play : P

Last semester in marching band we played a Michael Jackson show (believe it or not, it was chosen before MJ died, so it wasn't intended as a tribute), and it was absolutely amazing, and not just because we did a modified Thriller dance.
It was definitely one of my favorite band shows of all time. Now i'll just have to wait and see what we're playing next semester.

I heart Jupiter from the Planets by Gulav Holst. Sadly Jupiter only has the orchestra version on youtube. I'll post it anyways...
My "less complicated version" sounds more like 2:55-5:02 in the video. xd It sounds really cool!

Not the toughest, but my favorite by far is Michael Sweeney's "Rumble on the High Plains." I played it sophomore year in All-County and my school's symphonic band. It does a bunch of stuff I haven't gotten to expereince in other music I've played (i.e. playing random scale patterns as fast as possible). I don't have any video of my band playing, but others are on YouTube:

Songs of Sailor and Sea. I switch rapidly between the 1st trombone part and 3rd trombone part. 1st trombone has some sweet parts, and 3rd is a bass trombone part pretty much. I play a little from the baritone part as well.
Myths and Legends, as well.
Both make me feel like a pirate.
