I have seen some very awful wrecks..but that one Pearson and Glotzbach at Bristol was just downright scary..especially since it was in some old USAR pro stock cars...a series that lost saw safety during the Clinton years... Did anyone else see the Legends race? If not I recorded it and I may consider putting it on youtube or veoh

I saw the wreck. It was brutal, and I was holding my breath for Larry. Sad to hear he's injured but at least he's alive. Those old guys were running faster laps than the Nationwide guys at one point!!!

systematic_chaos I saw the wreck. It was brutal, and I was holding my breath for Larry. Sad to hear he's injured but at least he's alive. Those old guys were running faster laps than the Nationwide guys at one point!!!

Yes, but it's at BRISTOL! You'd have a valid point if it was at Daytona, Atlanta, or one of the other big tracks. I'd imagine they aren't going that much faster there then they did 10, 20, or even 30 years ago.
