Overview:
Located relatively close to the Amagi Inn is the Ak'Thias family's residence. The building itself is a little on the quirky side; Rednal's father owns a construction company, and he designed the building himself before building it as an example of what his company can do. It's fairly distinctive compared to other houses in the area. The first floor on the inside holds the general living areas, including kitchen, living room, and tatami-floored room (a must for all Japanese, Rednal's father claims), as well as a spare bedroom. There are five bedrooms on the upper floor; Rednal's parents use one, the largest. Three more are used by Rednal, Yuno (Rednal finally caved in and allowed her to come in off the doorstep), and new guest Asuka.

Rednal's Room:
Rednal's room has no windows, and is dominated by a large television he bought at Junes and an oversize bed. It is otherwise mostly unadorned, though he does have a bookcase and a desk with a computer. All items in the room have been organized with fanatical attention to the smallest details.

Yuno's Room:
Yuno's bedroom is fairly girly, with quite a bit of pink, and careful examination of loose floorboards and the like will reveal that more small weapons have been concealed in it than should really be feasible, along with various gasses, odd tools, et cetera.

Asuka's Room:
Asuka's room holds a normal-sized bed, a couch, and a table for doing work on; she hasn't had it very long, so it's not as furnished as it may eventually be.

Rednal


"Well, here we are!" Rednal said cheerfully, indicating the building that he called home. It was larger than anything one would find in a city, of course... no real surprise, since it was only the cities that were packed like sardines. Places out in the country, like Inaba, had far more room to work with, so things naturally got a little bigger. Especially when you not only owned the land, but built the house yourself to show off what you could do... Rednal's family wasn't super-rich, but they did make good money from their business, enough to be comfortable. The boy took out a key and unlocked the door. "Mother, I have a guest!" he called.

Rednal


"Eh, it's only fancy if you think it is." Rednal said vaguely. "Father built it trying to show off, after all. Ignore it." There seemed to be quite a lot of history there. "Anyway, I have to get back to school, unfortunately... but I'll be back here in the afternoon. Feel free to look around the place." In the other room, Rednal's mother merely smiled to herself. He'd brought a friend home; how wonderful! Rednal paused for a few moments, though, as if unsure about leaving. He... didn't really want to go. "I'll, uh, see you later, then." he hurried off. He was going to change his mind if he kept talking to her.

Rednal's Mother

"Ah, welcome, welcome." the woman said, putting a hand to her cheek. "It really is wonderful that our boy is making friends. Let me get you some tea." Giving an impression of bustling, the woman made her way into the kitchen and set some water on the stove to boil. "I have to get the groceries soon, so you'll be here by yourself for a little while. I hope that won't be any trouble." she said as the water heated.

Rednal's Mother


The woman just laughed as she poured some boiling water into a teacup. "Our boy doesn't have friends over very often, I'm afraid, and it's much nicer to have some girls in the house." she said. "You just make yourself at home, Asuka dear." she handed the girl a cup of tea before heading towards the hall, leaving the girl alone in the house. It indeed seemed as if she trusted her son's judgment...

There was a fairly rapid pounding on the door soon after Rednal's mother had left. "I know you're in there, girl!" a voice called from outside. Fenrir had been able to smell Asuka from over a mile away... which had less to do with the girl being... perfumed somehow... and more to do with the fact that the giant wolf had inhumanly good senses. He wasn't human in the first place, after all, so this was hardly odd...

"There you are." the Queen of Summoners said, looking at one of her studens. "I knew I felt something interesting earlier... and here you are, just like Fenrir said you would be." she stepped into the house. "Hmm, nice decor... why are you here, exactly?" the way it was said made it obvious she wasn't asking a massive philosophical question, but wanted to know what Asuka was doing in this building, at this moment, with an undercurrent of 'your explanation had better be a good one, missy' for added emphasis.

"Oh, so you got in a fight." Raidou said, smiling as a loud 'click' announced that the door was locked behind her. "And it was that Rednal boy, you say... and you lost? Well, well, well..." she advanced on the girl.
