The forest was deep, dark, and calming. Even moreso when it was raining heavily like it was. The smell of decaying leaves reached his nostrils and he sniffed the air curiously. There was something else on the early summer air. Something nostalgic floating by on the wind that was saturated with water from the downpour.
It was already fairly late in the evening, the sun obscured by the dense overcast. Most unusually, it had been raining for days now, occasionally with a frightful storm that crept up on the lage academy and nearby town. Residents had been reporting things going missing lately as well; small items, food, the rumour even mentioned a couple of people who had mysterious vanished or been attacked late in the night, but those were still unfounded for now.
The tendons of strong dark wings creaked slightly before their owner took off at a dash, leaping from tree branch to tree branch, shaking the water and fresh leaves from them. The figure stopped, rain beading from his volumes of water repellant white fluff as he lurched forward again and peered through the trees at the forest path.

[Just a note, this takes place after all that fun drama. : D;;; hahahaa....]
He wasn't sure what he was doing outside in the rain, he hated rain, perhaps it hadn't been raining when he'd gone out for a walk but that didn't matter. What mattered was that he was still very weak from the separation and he was undoubtedly going to get sick. Deskri paused, leaning against a tree to catch his breath. He'd come out to get a clear sense of things, to ease his mind, but the forest had only made the silence in his head worse.
His thoughts raced without interruption from the demon who had occupied his body, which was something that he had only experienced on a rare occasion. Now that he knew there wouldn't ever be an interruption, he hated it. He hated how clear it all was, and yet, how blurry everything seemed. He wasn't sure what he should be doing, and even if he knew that, he didn't know when or how to go about doing it.
Kagyaku had always given him that information, and now that he had no one to turn to for his every doubt, he felt quite alone in his own mind. He slid to the ground, wrapping his practically bone-thin arms around his legs while he pulled those to his chest. All in all he looked starved and about to die, but that was just because he wasn't handling freedom very well at all.

There was a being here some where. Something so familiar to him yet so vague. Faded memories floated up from the depths of his mind. A school? Friends? A family? These things were alien to him. He had been gone from this world for too long; so long that he barely remembered that he had once been born there; born from an experiment to create life. The experiment had gone wrong though, leaving the Angel with a Demon Soul, now a halfbreed that was feared or ridiculed wherever he went.
Lightning flashed overhead in sheets, reflecting in his storm blue eyes that glowed momentarily as though they were absorbing the energy from the electrified atomsphere. A grin spread across his tanned face, large sharp fangs glinting in another flash overheard. "Deskri," he whispered, letting it carry on the wind towards the figure that was hunched against a tree beside the path.

Deskri looked up, thinking he heard a whisper, golden eyes catching whatever glint of light the lightening managed to give them. Did something else take refuge in his head? No, he heard that with his ears. He looked around, eyes landing on the silhouette of someone much bigger than he.
Was he back already? It was too soon! He hadn't even gotten to do anything with his freedom. Somewhere inside he cursed his inability to deal with change as he scrambled backward, eyes wide with fear. Was he really going to die out there in the forest? In the rain? He couldn't help but wish his death would take place elsewhere. "St-stay away!" He cried out but his weak voice was taken up by the storm's power.

The grin widened to that of a cheshire cat, 'A scaredy cat as always,' the figure mused thoughtfully as Deskri tired to sound even remotely commanding. The scent was unbearable to the demonic creature and he finally let his nature take over. With a flash, he leapt down from the tree, landing on all fours with a low, errie growl, his eyes lighting up again before he dasshed forwards, his claws glinting in the lightning as he lunged for his target.
He collided with the smaller figure, pinning it to the soaked forest floor, spashing mud over the both of them and surrounding area. It was almost pitch black as they skidded to a halt under a large protective pine tree, out of wind, rain, and lightning. He leaned in, sniffing carefully once more before hauling the poor smaller Meta into a fluffy hug. "Deskri!" he grinned widely holding the other by his cheeks to make him look up.

Upon being tackled Deskri let out the most high pitched, (GIRLY) panicked scream he'd ever unleashed in his entire life. If he had the time to think, he would've mentally beaten himself for emitting such an embarrassing sound as his last mark on the world.
He wasn't awake to think that though, because as soon as he was pinned he blacked out, not because he'd hit his head, no... He'd fainted, his heart had overworked itself, his panic had gotten out of control, and so he fainted as a sort of defense mechanism. His fluffy attacker was met with a "sleeping" face instead of a wide-eyed, panicked one.

His long pointed ears twitched as he stared back at the sleeping face of Deskri, one of his few friends at the academy from many years ago before it had closed down and he had gone off on his own, turning into a ferral demon. He let loose a close-eyed smile and scooped up the smaller demon, "I see you haven't grown up yet," he mused aloud to the sleeping figure, folding his wings up like a giant umbrella as he stepped out into the rain once more, following Deskri's scent back towards the academy.
Nearly twenty minutes later, the rain had let up to a steady stream and the large fluffy demon stepped out of the woods, strolling across the grounds and up the main path. With a loud bang, he kicked open the entrance hall doors just as he had done once before, long ago, but this time he nearly knocked one of them off its hinges with his strength.
Pausing to look at the door before giving an idle shrug, the demon opened his wings again to reveal the unconscious Deskri before he gave himself a shake, spraying mud and water all over the entrance area.

As he was shaken Deskri woke again, groaning a little as he brought a hand up to rub at his eyes. He wasn't dead? He blinked a few times, eyes struggling to adjust to the light in the area, he'd forgotten to put his contacts in, making everything too blurry to focus on.
Well, he wasn't dead or in pain that actually hurt, which meant that the person holding him wasn't a danger. Who was his person anyway? He made out blurry shapes of blue, tan and something very, very blurry and white. "S-San?" He squinted, struggling to get a better look at the person who's coloring resembled his old friend's.

Santheas felt slight movement in his arms and looked down just in time to see Deskri mumble his name up at him, a whide fangy grin spreading across his face, "You got it, Des," he replied, puffing his wings a bit to shake out the remaining water.
"Now where was that infirmary again..." he mumbled, his deep blue eyes searching around the entrance hall before he shrugged, heading of in the first direction he picked, following the smell of antiseptic and bandages that wafted its way through the halls. He would find it sooner or later.

Deskri blinked a few more times, confused. "Where've you been?" He remained limp, figuring it would cause San trouble if he began to wiggle about too much. "Why are we going to the infirmary?" He didn't really feel hurt, was San hurt? That almost seemed impossible. San was always fine, physically at least.

"I've been out and about the worlds and realms," he replied with a shrug, stopping at Deskri's other question. "Did you want to go somewhere else. I tackled you pretty roughly, and you even fainted... I was just going to make sure you were alright," he stated, blinking. "I can take you back to the dormatory if you like though. I'll have to arrange for a house or find a cave or something nearby to live in. As an adult, I'm too old to be in the dorm," he explained.

"Oh..." Deskri went silent, thinking that over. It wasn't too different from what he'd been doing with Asu and Sono, but they tended to stay in that awful shack. "I'm fine, nothing hurts..." His face turned red at the mention of fainting. "I fainted 'cause you scared the s**t out of me!" He protested with a groan and a sigh. "No, no... it's fine... we don't have to go there." He shook his head a little. "You grew? Man, it's like I'm the only one that hasn't changed... aside from Sonnet." He smiled a bit. "They don't let adults stay in the dorms...?"

Santheas barked a laugh, "Sorry Kid, I couldn't help it, you just looked so vulnerable and I had just been travelling for a very long time without any contact," he explained, now stopped completely and at a loss of where to go. Deskri needed to get dried off before he got sick.
"Of course they don't let adults stay in the dorm. They never have as far as I knew," he replied. "We're adults after all, we like our privacy and we tend to do adult things that would otherwise scar the children if they happened to walk in on us," he winked.
He blinked again, "Sonnet is back?" he asked. He had remembered her from back then. Though he doubted she remembered him at all.

"Mean... That's what you are." Deskri puffed up his cheeks in protest, but he was smiling a little which meant that he wasn't too upset about it. Deskri's face turned an even deeper shade of red as San mentioned the reasons for kicking the adults out of the dorms. "O-oh... true..." He coughed a little, looking away. "Yeah, she's back. We came back together, kind of." He nodded his head a little.

Edmund was minding his own business staring out the window in one of the hallways of the academy. Amazingly he didn't have either of his brothers in tow as they were off playing under Sun's supervision. He was surprised to find he felt a bit lonely and bored without either one to keep him company, but that might have been because he had yet to really make any friends. Edmund was just so shy that he had trouble connecting with people.
His attention was drawn from out the window to the sound of footsteps. He spotted a man with long dark blue hair holding what appeared to be a sickly looking teenage boy. Edmund didn't recognize either, but then he still didn't recognize barely anyone around here. He peered at them while they talked, his shyness battling it out with his curiosity. Finally the curiosity gained a rare victory and he slowly approached the two. "Is he...um...is he ok? Are you lost?" he asked softly to the man, brown eyes fixated on the boy in his arms worriedly.
