HISTORY: Tim was inspired to become a trainer because of his mother for the sole reason she was a trainer herself. The whole thing started right after he was sent for a favor to Viridian City to pick up a few potions to help aid a few sick pokemon she was taking care of. Since then, the son of a retired trainer turned healer had the guts & inspiration to become one of the toughest trainers to dominate.
