Rocket Agent Seth

PostPosted: Fri Mar 19, 2010 7:38 pm

(( Note: This RP is only open to staff and those who signed up. There will be no posting order. I will be trying to move things along so that we get through it by the end of Sunday evening. There will be some dice rolling happening later on, so be sure to look out for that! ))

It was Saturday evening and the time was drawing close to midnight. The setting was an abandoned warehouse secretly owned by Team Rocket, just down the street from where they would strike. Seth had called all those who were to accompany him on this mission, and was now doing a brief overview of what was ahead. The tall elite stood with his usual serious expression, half glaring at the group that was before him as he spoke.

"Our target is the Camphoreon Pokemon Storage Facility. This building is the main computer hub that manages all the PC storage in Pokemon Centers across Kodo. Due to their expertise in computers, grunts 1337 and Hayes will be assisting me in breaking into the system and downloading as many Pokemon as we can. The rest of you are here for back up. You and your Pokemon will be covering us and keeping watch."

Seth held up a map of the facility, his finger tracing the route they would be taking when breaking into the building, as he spoke.

"They likely have a tight security system, so watch out and don't screw up. Any of you that are good at disarming security systems and getting through electronic locks will need to use those skills. The main computer terminals are located here. 1337 will be responsible for hacking into the system. Once he's in, Hayes will download the Pokemon into a portable storage unit. I will make sure to cover our tracks."

It was fairly straight forward, and should be simple enough if they didn't run into any problems. He didn't expect any. Most of the region wasn't even aware that Team Rocket existed here yet. This would be the moment to make the first proclamation that Team Rocket was back and they meant business.

"Any questions?" Seth asked gruffly, his gaze passing over the group of grunts and agents.

At the back of the group stood one grunt with a dark visor and light red hair. He nodded quietly at the information the Seth provided, but didn't seem to have any questions. He was already a night guard at the outpost, this wouldn't be much different, and it wasn't exactly rocket science either.

In contrast to his superior, the agent known as 1337 stood there with a large grin plastered on his face. In all honesty, this was the sort of work he loved. This was the sort of mission he had been waiting for. If it wasn't obvious, the tall visored figure was anxious to get started.

There was the question about questions, and instantly, 1337 could think of at least 30 different questions that had nothing to do with this mission. It was also important to note that he did not think of a single question that would be important to this mission. If he wasn't anxious to get started, the agent might have tried to lighten the mood by asking one of the 30 questions. He never understood why everyone was so afraid of Seth. Oh, boo hoo, he was taller than 1337 by 2 whole inches. Cry, cry, it didn't bother the computer hacker one bit. It was always hilarious to get Seth pissed off.

However, right now, the jumpsuit adorned Rocket simply just bounced in place. Oh god, this was going to be fun!

( OOC: I just found out yesterday that I need to go to a birthday party for my youngest niece tomorrow at 2, but I should be back home by 7-8 Central at the absolute latest. Is this going to be a problem? >< I'm sorry - this literally came out of nowhere, but I'm going to do my best to make sure it doesn't screw up things )

Roar listened quietly to the instructions as he looked over the map. He wished he'd thought to bring his brother along, but Fury was in another mission in another city. Pity - Fury was a hacker and would have been valuable to this mission if only to get past the electronic locks. Oh, well; he would have to pick up the slack. He had already compiled his team to compensate - Petra was at the forefront of his party, already sitting quietly beside Roar's leg, and Anathema was tucked away in her pokéball on his belt. Roar had even borrowed Darkshine and Brightspark from his brother to ensure he had a good mix of types for this mission since a vaporeon, a blastoise, and a squirtle were not the best combination for an important mission such as this. He made a mental note to expand his team after tonight so he wouldn't have to rely on borrowing Fury's team in the future.

Standing with the weight of her hip swayed mostly over one leg, hands placed on her hips, the female grunt took care to pay close attention to the commanders debriefing.
Dark blond hair was tied back away from a blank set frown over her feature, hiding any nervousness she might feel, though really, any ounce of nervousness she might have felt, was greatly overshadowed by her excitement.

The warehouse was new to her, having quickly obeyed the summon from their commander Seth,
the people were new to her as well, most of them anyways, she knew Seth of course, respected leader, someone she quite looked up to. And then there was Hayes, she had recently met him; he was one of the hackers… awesome.
The other guy that had been mentioned however, the solid visor, grinning like… well… like he was about to start bounding around joyfully he looked so excited, a mood that was rather refreshing in Faleen’s mind.

She didn’t spare much glance to the others just yet, still giving her attention to Seth.
When he asked if they had any questions she stayed quiet, merely shifting her weight over her other leg, and waited, mentally understanding her task for this mission.

User ImageTRP stood behind Seth and slightly to the left, arms folded. Those who were familiar with the Elite Agent's typical relaxed attitude would recognize that she was all business tonight. She watched the group as Seth spoke, ready to point out anyone who looked like they were having second thoughts.

Furin floated beside TRP's head, mimicking her trainer's serious expression.

User ImageWhatever Nikki thought of her partner's capabilities, Hayes did occasionally know what he was doing. In full uniform tonight, with his hat pulled down low over his eyes, he looked indistinguishable from any other grunt except for the wisps of sandy blond hair that stuck out from under the brim. He'd opted for contacts. Sticking a finger in your eye was unpleasant, but there were times when it paid not to risk fumbling around blindly for your frames. What was visible of his expression was serious, his attention focused on Seth.

And wonder of wonders, Switch was in his Pokeball for once, ready and waiting.

As the Elite relayed instructions to the team, Hayes nodded to himself and hitched the strap of a slim laptop backpack a little higher up his shoulder, going over a quick mental review of the plan in his mind for what was not the first time, or even the fifth.

He flipped off a brief two-fingered salute from his temple to draw Seth's attention when asked for questions. "Contingency plan, sir? If it all goes to hell." His tone was businesslike, but calm, with an undercurrent of his usual good-natured humor. If he was having any second thoughts, they were probably in binary.

For once in his life, there was no anger brewing beneath the surface for him, he was completely calm. The anxiety that had been bouncing him around a bit earlier in the day had settled and he was very much so ready to get under way. While he had no skill in disarming security measures, he did have Pokemon to work on ways around them.

He watched the Elites with a cold stare, taking in what Seth had to say as he let a smile curl over his lips. Hayes question brought him some joy as well. Having a contingency was exceedingly important, and he was not one to do much without a back-up plan. He had no intention of dieing out here, especially on his first 'Real' mission.

His real hope tonight, was to prove himself, the debauchery at the lab with the Squirtle and his Absol had set him back and his time in confinement had made things worse. However he'd taken some training exercises on his own time to make sure his Pokemon were in top form, he'd worked on getting some necessary TM's, and even made sure he could provide Team Rocket with more Pokemon for the new generation of grunts flowing through the doors.

Tonight was important, and he was ready, thus he had no questions himself.

User ImageKeira, unlike her usual self, was actually just hanging out around the back. Normally she liked to try and take charge, getting up front and getting her face seen but, she knew how important this mission was and when Keira got serious, she was a completely different person then the bitchy, flirty girl you would think of when she comes to mind. Her arms were crossed, Esther in her usual spot on her shoulder. They were ready for anything. Keria had a back around her shoulders with things she might need, if the situation should arise. And of course she had her three pokemon she was counting on for back up. She was very pleased to be apart of this mission, and wasn't going to mess up.

While normally she would be thinking how completely hot Seth is, since her mindset was different today she just stood and watched, no questions popped into her head, so when he asked she remained silent. Just watching and listening to the others. Keira figured she could handle herself if something came up. Though she was very, very far from ever being a pro, she was actually surprisingly skilled when it came to disarming alarms and picking locks. As a child she stole quite a few cars, broke into some high class homes, of course none of that came even close in comparision to where they were about to break into.

She noticed at a glance that just a few feet away was the red headed rocket she had met earlier, She didn't give him a greeting this time, just turned her attention back to the executive speaking. Esther did notice however and smiled, wagging her tail at him as her way of greeting him. Though she didn't make any noise this time. Keira had instructed her to stay quiet on the mission. She didn't need her pokemon crying out and getting them caught and screwing up things now could she?User Image

Alice stood off to one side of the group, looking at nothing in the air just above her and to her left. She seemed to be running through a mental checklist of sorts, alternating between making soft clicking noises as she reviewed each item and humming a tuneless song. She kept time for her personal symphony by tossing her pokeball up and catching it again, over and over.

She was probably paying attention to what Seth was saying, but she wasn't going out of her way to show it.

The one question would come from Hayes, and Seth leveled his blue gaze on his. It was a valid question, and it would be answered as the elite put the map away and tucked it into the small pack on his shoulders.

"Contingency plan? Get the hell out of there. Don't get caught, and above all, don't get killed. I will not be held responsible for losing any valuable Team Rocket resources." The last bit added with a snort, giving the impression that he was being sarcastic. "If you become separated from the group for whatever reason, then return here."

Another glance was given to the group. "If that is all, then let's move out."

Seth turned away from them and paused to glance at TRP before moving past her, leading the way out of the warehouse and down the back alleys. Their dark uniforms certainly came in handy when trying to sneak around the dark corners of town at night.

William was continually quiet and only gave Keira's Eevee a slight smile before they all filed out of the warehouse.

User ImageTRP turned and followed after Seth. Where typically she'd be joking with her peer, tonight she was quiet. This was one of the most pivotal moves of Team Rocket's third emergence. It was important that they succeed. She certainly didn't want to be a member of the raid that announced to the world that Team Rocket was back and apparently no threat.

Furin floated a bit higher as she followed TRP, using the vantage point to watch for anything suspicious.

Seemed simple enough to understand, from here on out, she was going to have to be pretty alert, this was her first mission, she didn't have any experience, so she was going to have to make up for that with being extremely vigilant. she had no intentions of doing something stupid and screwing up.

When they started out, she lowered her arms off her hips, hands absently touching the two pokeball on her thigh, in a sub-conscious reminder of there presence for when she needed them.
glancing over to the other rockets before the light faded as they exited the warehouse, and the darkness helped them blend together.

Why was everyone so serious? Even hotty McHotpants (aka TRP) seemed to be taking this whole mission way too seriously. If there wasn't so much on the line for 1337 personally, he might have tried to liven up things as they shuffled out.

Unfortunately, if he screwed up, that meant he wouldn't get to play like he wanted to. It wasn't everyday you got brought on a mission strictly to mess around with somebody else's toys. Knowing Seth well enough, he could easily see one simple slip up from the jumpsuit-wearing rebel of a Rocket being reason enough to take this awesome opportunity away from 1337.

1337 wasn't going to risk that. So instead, he kept all of his lewd, crude, and otherwise obnoxious comments to himself. The only rebelling he'd be seen doing today was grinning as wide as his mouth could handle.

Roar reached down to give Petra's top crest a stroke as he turned to follow the group. The white vaporeon was nervous since this was his first mention, but he was determined not to disappoint his trainer. Everyone but one trainer was so tense, it was easy to let it affect the overall mood of the group, but Roar just rolled his shoulders and tried to stay positive. He was not about to fail this mission.

That two-fingered salute again, accompanied by a slight tilt of the head and an upward quirk of his mouth that indicated Hayes understood his superior quite well. "Sir," he confirmed.

The blond turned and tailed after the Elite as he began to head out, adjusting the set of his shoulders in preparation. Gravitating towards those he was most familiar with, i.e. fellow coders, he fell into step near 1337. As he overtook Faleen, he nudged her with his elbow, raised his head slightly to catch her eye and flashed her an easy grin for the briefest second. Relax.

This was going to be good.
