Sandy was excited for this trip, the young spawn usually liked going just about anywhere with their father but today's trip looked extra exciting. A maple sugar farm was something Sandy had never even heard of before today and the many tentacled child was curious to learn just how one of their favourite breakfast food toppings was made. The fact that there was supposed to be free pancakes with fresh maple syrup at the end didn't hurt anything either.

On top of Sandy's head Alpha and Omega were buried mostly into the child's golden brown hair for warmth. The two smaller golden head tentacles being a bit lazy this morning. Delta and Epsilon on the other hand were more energetic and swing back and forth while Sandy walked, mimicking the spawn's legs.

Tybalt followed a few steps beside his child as they walked towards the main gate where a small crowd was building, probably so the staff had certain amounts of people for each tour. The redhead hadn't been to a place like this since he was a kid Sandy's age but he did remember enjoying it back then. Besides a little fresh air and exercise would be good for the kid.

A young woman sporting a black jacket that said 'Maple Woods Farms" on the front in white lettering smiled and greeted people as they made their way to the gate. Another few people and Carly would be good to start off the tour.

Moira and Bleez had just gotten out of the car. Bleez wasn't entirely sure what to think about the whole thing. They never had maple syrup, but then, they never had pancakes for breakfast either. She had had them once, though, when they'd gone to a breakfast diner with one of her mom's friends. They were really sweet, well, the syrup was. She had to they were pretty tasty.

Moira took ahold of Bleez's hand, she didn't want the child to go off and get lost if she saw something she had to see. They walked towards the group that was massing at the front gate. Bleez was the first of the two to notice the other spawn that'd already arrived. "MUM! Mum, did.ya invite.'em?" Bleez pointed at the group, more specifically at Rhys and Sandy.

Moira blinked, pausing slightly in their walk, "Actually, no, hun. I guess they're here to learn about dis stuff too." Bleez gave her hand a tug and they continued towards the group.

Sandy didn't recognize any of the children that had recently joined the group though several had familiar traits the child had seen in their time at the facility. It was a strange coincidence but not one that the brunet minded all that much. In fact Sandy, Delta and Epsilon all waved at the approaching small black skinned boy that seemed to have metal head wings. The child's green eyes reflected both curiosity and friendliness, it didn't hurt that the other spawn was smaller though.

Upon seeing Sandy and the other spawn who were approaching the many-tentacled child, Rhys began to hurry, pulling his father along by their linked hands.

"Hi!" he chirped, once they had gotten close. Rhys recognized the other two children from that sleepover he had attended, but they were so... big now! When his father had asked him how his time at Espen's had gone, he had been somewhat embarrassed to admit he had spent most of the night exploring and playing by himself, but at least he had been around Bleez and Vali long enough to learn their names.

Excited that one of her good friends, Vali, was here, Bleez couldn't contain herself. "VALI! 'm.glad.ta.see.you.here!" She bounced on her toes, trying to be as tall as him.

"Bleez, settle, you're speaking too quickly fer others." Moira motioned for Bleez to calm down. Since her growth spurt, her speech had grown in quickness and she hadn't noticed. Moira had to repeatedly tell her to slow down so people could understand.

Bleez took a few breaths then struggled in saying her apology at a speed normal for others, "Yes, mum. I'm sorry for speaking so quick." She folded her hands in front of her, like Moira, then looked at her mother for a approval. Moira nodded and smiled sweetly at the spawn.

"You toooo!" Rhys said to Vali. He turned to the tentacled child, his next words fountaining out in a punctuationless stream. "Nice to meet you Sandy pancakes are yummy!" Not nearly as fast as Bleez, but impressive nonetheless. Rhys tugged on his father's hand seven or eight times and Sam squeezed his hand in return.

Calm down, the man silently thought at his son. Sam recognized the other children as having originated from the facility and he smiled silently at anyone who looked his way. Such an interesting group, but all older than Rhys. It wouldn't do to have him tire out too quickly. The boy tended to whine.

"'Ello, Sandy! I like your wrigglies!" Bleez smiled at the lust spawn. She didn't mean anything by it, but they wriggled around, so that's what she knew the tentacles as.

Bleez was caught in hug and she giggled uncontrollably as she was spun around. It took her a bit after she was set down to stop giggling, even. "Oh! I've.'ad pancakes once befo'. The syrup's sweet.'nd.nummy!"

Moira nodded to Dooma, "Pleasure as always, Ms. Dooma." She smiled at her and the rest of the parents in turn again. She silently wondered if spawn had an innate ability to attract other spawn. It seemed they always ran into another spawn or two whenever they went out.

"Time ta go in!" Rhys said excitedly. The boy quieted, looking at the other kids again before attempting to pull his father over to line up nearer to where Carly was leading them inside. He would show them how being a good boy was done, with their hugging and spinning. He grinned, determined not to pout even if it was his first inclination. "C'mon Bleez and Vali and Sandy and Alpha and Omega and Delta and Epsilon!"

For the moment, Sam stood still, denying Rhys the chance to continue his bizarre little leadership power play. "Pleased to meet you all," he said. "I'm Sam."
