Hello Everyone! Please use this post to post your stories about challenging the Mahogany Town Gym the Ice Type Gym. Please say which pokemon you used, How many times it might have taken to beat the Gym leader, anything else interesting that might have happen, and any tips you might have for defeating the Gym Leader.

Lapras, Quilava, and Ampharos all had to work together to beat this dude. He's tougher than he looks. Still took one attempt.
After that Ampharos went into my box and is now good for the pokewalker. I now have Raikou.

Deciding to go to Mahogany Town first instead of Olivine City i fought my way through lake rage and the Team Rocket secret base and went to the gym. After reseting a few times against the gym leader i decided to finish lvl my mareep up to lvl 28 so it learns Discharge and evolve it to flaffy. Flaffy took out Seel and Dewgong easily and Ploswine took out my Houndour but Totedile took care of him.

I resetted twice; I used:
Umbreon
Typholosion(trade)
Meganium
Ampharos
Furret
and HM slave
I killed his last Piloswine with Meganium, it was hard.
