'Cush we already has one for XII. 3nodding I think it's Chapter 7; it's definitely not any later. Maybe it was 6, eheh?
Anyway, I've been thinking about Vanille's accent. I thought it was weird at the beginning, kind of slipping in and out sometimes, and it was kind of annoying me. Since finding out about her story, though... it's been a lot better. It's pretty consistent. I'm thinking now, maybe it wasn't there sometimes near the beginning because she was trying to hide it. They don't have accents like that on Cocoon, and she was trying not to give herself away.
If that's the case, I commend highly Squenix's skill in handling accents once again! It was awesome in XII, and I think this is really cool if they did it on purpose.
Also, who else kind of sort of totally guessed the whole from-Pulse thing before it happened? whee

Ooo ooo pick me! Yeah I totally called that too. Both Fang and Vanille's accent as well as their different clothes kinda gave the fact that they were from somewhere else away. And since the XIII world isn't as extensive as some others like VIII and IX, it was only logical that they were from pulse.
Accent wise, I think its pretty cool. They're just another facet that fleshes out the story as far as character descriptions. I also absolutly love Australian accents so that's another plus for me!
The cast this time around is pretty interesting in that its a bunch of breaking in voice actors ('cept for Jihl whose voiced by Paula Tiso aka Lulu from X, and Serah, voiced by Laura Bailey). A lot of the other games had some relatively known voice actors like Tara Strong, Yuri Lowenthal, Kari Wahlgren, and Steven Blum. Oh and some of the occupants of Cocoon (who speak when you run by them) are voiced by some well-known voice actors (at least according to Wikipedia). They include, James Arnold Taylor (Tidus from X), John DiMaggio (Wakka and Kimarhi from X), Kari Wahlgren (Ashe from XII), Travis Willingham (for those of you who watch anime), and Yuri Lowenthal (Cecil from the remake of IV). I've been searching through the game for those voices and I believe I found James Arnold Taylor (because he's got that distinct Tidus voice), but haven't definitly found anyone else. I'm officially posting a challange for other people to try and find them. wink

Huh, really? I haven't heard any of them, unfortunately... The only voice I recognized was Serah's. Laura Bailey, actually, is one of those voice actors whom I always recognize, but I can never think of who it is or what else they've done. I happened to look her up a couple hours ago, actually, because I recognized her voice in the Tsubasa dub (which kind of sucks sweatdrop ).
Heehee, Australian accents are pretty cool. I love accents in general, so I'm happy when I hear one. xd

It was making ME think that they've segregated all British/Australian people to the horrible world below. XD
