Hello Everyone! Please use this post to post your stories about challenging the Goldenrod City Gym the Normal Type Gym. Please say which pokemon you used, How many times it might have taken to beat the gym leader, anything else interesting that might have happen, and any tips you might have for defeating the Gym Leader.

I used Togepei, Totodile and Mareep the first time and barely made it to Miltank.
The second type i used Togepei, Totodile, Mareep, Geodude (back because normal attacks are weak against rock), and finally a ringer Spiky-Ear pichu i picked up in Ilex Forest. Togepei took out Clefairy after a long battle and went on to faint with my other pokemon one by one against Miltank except for Pichu which took Miltank down easily. it took me 2 times to defeat this gym.

Clefairy was a one-shot strike with Quilava's Flame Wheel and I beat down the cow with a few of Quilava's Digs, a Flame Wheel, and Jirachi finished it off.
Took one try.
I did say I wasn't using Machop this time around. Flaafy, Fearow, and Lapras sat this one out.
